Sir'Bia
Crack. Crack. BOOM. The thunder in the skies terrified the female. She shivered a little, and did her best to stay low to the earth. She didn't want to be caught in the rain..But even worse than the rain
was the lightning that crackled overhead. With each crack and boom she would jump. She knew she should have been used to it, but the female just never could get over it. She was a smaller female, dainty at best.
She couldnt remember much about her past, but she did know that she was on a mission. She had to find somewhere to call home. She had to. Safety was becomming an issue, and she felt vulnerable alone. No, she KNEW she
was vulnerable to the elements out here alone. With no den to house her, and no friends to protect her, she was like a walking billboard. Her tail was stiff as she walked, not swaying like a carefree females would..

Crack! And again she was cowering to the earth, her paws over her ears as she squeezed her eyes closed in an attempt to forget where she was. She just wanted to go home and she didnt even know if she had one. When the thunder
subsided, she started walking again..Though it didnt last long as another crack of lightning sent her diving to the earth again.

Voldemaras
Vol looked over his shoulder at the Captain he was out viking with. He was busy divvying up the loot from their raid, which Vol was not much interested in. Oh, he certainly did love his loot, but there had not been anything which caught his attention in particular and so as long as the division was fair, he didn't care who got what. Thunder crashed above and he grinned, taking energy from the storm.

"I'm going to do a final sweep," he announced in the Captain's direction. "Hunters for the group may be returning around now, and I don't want them coming across us."

The Captain nodded and went back to his task and Vol set out for the perimeter. He hoped he would run into someone. A returning warrior or hunter or something. He suddenly had energy to burn, even after the fight he'd been in only a little over an hour ago. It was the storm. Like a true Stormborn, he took his strength from the thunder and the lightning and the wind and the rain. It made him sharper, more alert.

He wouldn't have needed to be more alert to notice a pale blue form diving into the ground though at another crack of thunder. His golden eyes widened and he set off at a trot on an intercept course. This would be fun.

Sir
Her fear had made her completely unaware of the approaching danger, and she just kept worrying about the storm. With each crack of lightning the females pale, but luxurious blue coat glittered. She shivered, as a gust of wind blew against her. She felt the cold down to her bones. Who lived like this? She certainly couldnt. She stood back up in an attempt to right herself. She didnt like looking like such a prey animal but she couldnt help herself when it came to storms. She wasnt sure if it was something that had happened as a cub, or if it was just a natural fear that she carried.

She paused, and her eyes darted around as she got this feeling of intense dread. She pouted a bit, not seeing anything, but then her eyes met a pair of golden orbs staring back at her. She gulped, and turned to continue walking. Maybe she could find cover quickly..

Vol
Voldemaras drew close enough that he had no difficult recognizing the pale form as female, and obviously a very distraught one at that. The wild winds carried the scent of her fear to him, along with many other scents, but it was the lioness's fear in particular that snared his attention.

He wouldn't have let her go unchallenged no matter what, but he might have satisfied himself with simply driving her off, given the difficulty involved in taking Thralls and carting them around for an viking. They tended to be far more trouble than they were worth, particularly early on a viking. They had to be guarded and tethered and all that. Huge amounts of effort and attention needed.

But her fear was something of an aphrodisiac to the Reaver, and he knew now that he would not be driving her off or taking her captive. Not right away anyway. First he would take some pleasure with her. At least that was the plan if she didn't have the sense to flee. And she'd have to flee quickly, because he was already moving to pounce on her.

Sir
She looked behind her once more, and she saw that shape moving closer. A dark, shadow of a lion with golden eyes. Staring directly at her. She knew that the only thing to do was run. If she didnt run, she would have to fight. If she didnt fight, she looked like prey.. But..She couldnt fight! She was far too small and this shadow of a lion looked bigger than her and he was still a bit away. She turned, and stood her ground.. Hoping to have him believe she was braver than she was. But her fear was still emanating from her body and she tried hard to fight the fleeing instinct.

If she had to flee, she would. But if she could try to stand up against him..she felt that it was worth a try.
"H-Halt. Dont come any closer." She said.

Vol
Her defiance made him smile. It reminded him of the defiance of a cub in the face of a storm at sea. That this all took place in the midst of a storm made it just a bit more amusing for Vol. His feeling toward the lioness did not change with his amusement. He just saw her defiance as a possibility that she would put up a fight. Good. He would enjoy that.

"How do you intend to stop me?" he asked. His claws slid in and out in anticipation. "You can't possibly outrun me or outfight me."

It went unsaid that she was welcome to try either or both.. He would relish the pursuit or the struggle, because as far as he was concerned the ending was inevitable. She was smaller, weaker, and inherently inferior for not having been born to his pride. A pretty little nothing to use and throw away.

Sir
When he approached and was within pouncing distance, she felt herself want to shudder but she held it back. She wasn't strong, or brave.. She did what she had to to survive. She gulped.
"Surely you have better things to do than come after a lady such as myself." She said, though her voice lacked the conviction her words held. He very well could be that type. She had no idea, and he looked alot meaner than she wanted to admit.

Her eyes went to his claws, they were unsheathed. Prepared. She gulped again and shivered. She didnt want to day to be her last day. She had so much left to do..She just didnt know what!

"Why are you following me?" She asked.

Vol
"Actually, it's my job to find any lions - or lionesses - who might be around the area. For safety's sake, you understand. My brothers don't like to be disturbed in their sleep." He smiled and it was not a friendly expression.

He took a step closer and continued speaking, "So really, I have nothing better to do than pass some time with you."

Her use of the term "lady" meant nothing to Vol. Among the Stormborn there were no ladies, no sirs. All Freeborn lions were equals, though maybe Reavers were a little more equal than others. After all, they were the pride's warriors. And they looked to the Captains, so maybe the Captains were a bit better. And the Warlord ruled them all. But that was just hierarchy, and it was all earned.

Or taken. Might did make right among his people.

Sir
That, did not sound good. She gulped again, and started backing away. So he basically just wanted to hurt her. Did he eat others like him? She had heard of others who did..Was he one of them?

"You-You..."She cleared her throat and then shook her head to get the words out.

"You arent going to kill me.. I wont let you.." She said softly.

Vol
"I'm not going to kill you," he said, but there was nothing in his tone or manner to make it reassuring. He didn't mean for it to be reassuring. He meant for it to make her think about what other things he could do that would be worse than killing her.

"But what I do, it won't be because you let me, I think. It will be because you have been unable to prevent it." He continued to smile, and this time he actually did add, "But you are welcome to try. In fact, I encourage it."

Of course, if she did try, Vol would definitely not be gentle about taking what he wanted from her. He would probably be more violent, in fact. But there was a joy to be found in violence, a release, and the storm was getting him so keyed up, he really needed that release. And maybe other sorts of release, too.

"So...run."
