I am editing a story of mine that I started a couple years ago, and I have started to flesh out the backstories a bit. There is only one problem. The main character's story is in first person (like reading a diary), and all the other stories are in third person omnicient. Is that alright to do, or will I have to change a point of view? Also, I write better in third person so I kind of want to go back and re-write the whole thing in third XD. (thankfully, its only 28 pages so far) What should I do?

My advice to you would be, if you're better at third person/omniscient, stick with it.
However, if you wish to become better at first person, I say go ahead and go with first person.
It depends on your ultimate goal.
