Anyway, I like giving girls chocolates a lot (if you're curious PM me), but aside from that I'm not a big fan of Valentine's day. It's mostly just bitterness, lonelyness, and spite, but every shmarmy display window seems to be a slap in the face, a mocking farce of one's lonely life, the abundant candies so sweet and cutesyfied they make you want to get a dental inspection just looking at them act as a reminder of the unsated hunger within one's own soul.
...right.
So instead of just moping or bitching about it (although I did a fair share of that as well >>), I decided to start celebrating February 15th and 16th, by sending out cards with phrases such as "Valentine's Day oppresses the (single) prolitariate! >_<" and such classic candies as chocolate arteries and Hershey's handshakes.
