Behind the Scenes
♥ p e r s o n a l i t y : Tidus is a bit complicated because he can have dueling sides of himself. He acts a bit shy and introverted at times and at other times he can be impulsive and brash. He doesn’t like to get too close to others in fear that they will end up hurting him. His emotions tend to control him with even how hard he tries to fight them back. As a younger child growing up he was made fun of for being a crybaby and weakling so now he acts tough and defensive if he feels threatened. When his comfortable in his environment he can be comical, intrigued and high spirited. His inner self runs deep with compassion and connection and he actually is very loyal, receptive and quite a romantic when he can feel comfortable with the people around him. He radiates whiteish blue when he is enlightened by something or feels deeply loved or connected with someone. When this happens it means his watery soul is being purified. Sadly, upsetting or negative encounters can do the opposite to his soul.

♥ p o w e r s : Tidus has the power to manipulate water from anywhere such as water vapor in the air, in the earth and in any body of water. He can stay underwater as long as he wants without drowning. If he has enough energy he can call on the waves of the sea, he can be perceptive to other’s feelings and absorb the negative feelings they carry as long as his own psyche isn’t clouded with sadness and anger. He sometimes dreams of having the strength to bring forth a large tidal wave to wash away all the impurities of this world along with him.
♥ b I o : Tidus was the son of Ondine the water nymph and Sir Lawrence and because of who his mother was he was born an elemental. If an elemental had a child with a human then they would no longer be immortal and that was exactly what happened to his mother after she gave birth to him. She aged very quickly and died when he was young. Before she died, his father lost interest in her and began cheating on her with young women. Tidus never forgave his father for his actions. After his mother died his father began to ridicule and beat Tidus often, saying that he was too soft and weak like a woman. Tidus ran away, far from his home and grew up mostly on his own. Tidus wasn't born immortal but he ages very slowly which is why he is older then he looks.
