So apparently, it's been 'confirmed' that Cheryl Cole has been given a cameo role on Glee in season three. This is despite the creators of Glee stating that there will be very few guest appearances in season 3, and that they'll be going 'back to basics'.
A few questions of my fellow Gleeks:
1) To my US comrades: do you even know who she is? Even after the US X-Factor debacle?
2) I thought Glee was meant to represent talented musicians, without the superficial aspect that often clouds the music industry? Cheryl Cole can't play in instrument, doesn't write her music, NEVER sings live, not to forget the very fact that she cannot sing without extreme autotuning. She really is nothing special, do you think she really deserves a spot on Glee? rolleyes
3) After Britney Spears, Gwyneth Paltrow, Josh Groban etc; why is this no-body, has-been, talentless thug who attacked a woman in a nightclub and thinks that getting her chest out constitutes 'talent' being given airtime?

It's a sad shame that they are putting someone like her on Glee. There are so many other better talents that have been on Glee. She doesn't deserve a spot on Glee but sadly we're not the ones who direct and produce the show. Let's just hope that when that episode airs, it isn't a complete waste.

onepiecegirl It's a sad shame that they are putting someone like her on Glee. There are so many other better talents that have been on Glee. She doesn't deserve a spot on Glee but sadly we're not the ones who direct and produce the show. Let's just hope that when that episode airs, it isn't a complete waste. Glad someone agrees with me! I mean, Justin Bieber has been begging for a cameo for a long while now. I know some people dislike him, but his talent is undeniable. He plays drums, piano and guitar, he has a brilliant singing voice, and he's got something called charisma. His reputation is squeaky clean with no reports of aggression. I don't see why people dislike him! That aside, there are hundreds of talented artists more deserving than Cole. If the rumours turn out to be just pure speculation, I'll throw a damn party!

I don't really know who Cheryl Cole is but what you just said about makes me automatically hate her. >> *sigh* First Sam from Glee leaves, and now SHE'S his replacement?!
I'm not even a fan of Justin Beiber but even I know he has a lot better talent and should be on the show instead of her. o_o

Average looking, but with hair extensions (50% of her 'hair' is actually artificial. And she has the cheek to advertise hair dye and hairspray!). Fake tan, fake eyelashes, fake books, fake teeth, fake smile. She has the personality of a rock, a terrible accent that no one can understand and her singing voice is average at best. And it's not just me saying this. She's fallen off her pedestal in the UK, people are sick of her.
