If one took the time out to study and pay very close attention to the carvings around the Tomb of Maegira one would notice a square carving that is slightly different that the others. And if one were also to pay close attention they would notice twelve carvings arranged in a circle on top of this square carving. And if one were privy to such information one would also realize that the twelve carvings form a combination sequence.

If pressed in the right order the carvings will depressing into the stone and the stone will pull away so that only a square hole remains in the rock. This square hole leads to a set of darkened stairs that lead down into a secret labyrinth below the Tomb of Maegira.

However, few are privy to this information and those that are...are very dangerous people whom you do not cross without a death wish...

A shadowy figure drifted through the sandglass halls of the hidden Fortress Labyrinth at Kiesayah. Runes covered the walls. They glowed with a brilliant yellow light as he passed. The light seemed to caress over him and then retreat as if shocked. As sound like a whimper and a purr emitted from the runes and the shadow figure ran his gloved fingers across the runes. The purring sound grew louder and then died as he exited the hall.
The next hall was pitch black and was so quiet you could hear a pin drop – or the exact cadence of a man’s boot steps. Two glowing yellow pinpoints appeared in the darkness, and then a sound like gloved hands clapping together resounded through the hall. Red runes began glowing, lighting up the hallway with a blood red light and revealing the shadow figure sauntering down the center. He paused exactly halfway through the hallway and focused his glowing yellow eyes on a rune close to the floor of the left wall. His reached out with his glove encased hand and caressed the run with his first two fingers; twice up, twice down, once left, once right, again left and finally right. The rune hummed and turned blue.

A rumbling noise echoed through the hallway. The shadow figure rose to his full height apparently unperturbed by the loud noise. He instead focused on a glowing blue panel that appeared on the wall in front of him. The panel withdrew from the wall and formed a doorway into darkness. The shadow figure nodded and then stepped through the doorway. As soon as he was through a shadow swarmed over the door way and sealed it behind him. As the doorway disappeared a warm light began to appear around the shadow figure, and then spread across the sandstone room revealing an elaborate room of twisted columns and ancient carvings.

In the center of the room, on a sand glass throne, sat a beautiful pale woman. The shadow figure paused to study her, his glowing yellow eyes trailed across the woman’s figure, following the voluptuous curves of her body. His eyes paused for the longest on her chest, watching carefully for the rise and fall of her breast. He nodded to himself when he was sure that she was still breathing. He continued his study of her, grunting satisfied when he was sure she was undamaged. A melodic voice filled the chamber and the shadow figure inclined his head to listen. “Cuelia ras vhen, Shai’Saicula, mi hielo niameCome closer, Shai’Saicula, I am undamaged. The shadow figure paused for another second before sauntering up to throne. He took a seat on sandstone carving, crossing one ankle over his knee and resting his arms nonchalantly on his thighs.

Seer…” He breathed through the armored mask that was covering the lower half of his face. His voice was rough and gritty, like sandpaper on stone. “ A little mynock told me you had something to tell me.

The seer shifted on her throne. The movement was languid and the Shai’Saicula could swear he heard her moan. He tipped his head to the side as he watched the blue cloth that was barely covering her form fall to one side. He seemed unphased by her nudity; his only reaction was to sit back and cross his arms, his body language screaming impatience. The seer’s lips parted and this time her words were in the modern vernacular, “ Aye, Shai’Saicula – leader of the Shadow Informant – your mynock is correct. I feel like sharing some….information with you. First concerns a king and a gunslinger. Currently they are seeking the ruins of a Sylph temple in the Wastelands. They will need a push in the right direction….or perhaps the wrong one from their point of view. Second concerns a Rune Writer and an Assassin, they are seeking the Sho’Sachari – what you do with that information is up to you. However, if left alone they will find you. Third concerns the Prince of the Plains and a treasure buried beneath the Steppes of Kaehura. This treasure, if found, will give him the strength he will need in the not too distant future, to defend our interests here at Kiesayah. However if he does not assemble a team of at least three warriors, he will fail in discovering the treasure, and he will die.

The Shai’Saicula waited for a few long moments, but the seer did not speak again. Her milky white eyes drifted shut and she seemed to fall into a deep sleep. He sighed and drifted to his feet to begin the trek back to the surface.
