[[To help me.... Crown's colour code. #07c07f ]]Crown found himself wanding again to the field not far from the Miakoda herd lands. It was a great place, plenty of food and flowers, wide open spaces for newborn foals to run and place and for the gentlier species of soquili to interact, gossip, and perhaps even find love. Crown had had little luck in any of those departments. He wasn't exactly great at talking sometimes despite being what his sister would describe 'a happy character'. He sighed, forcing hot air to be blown from his nose.
His familar Alexander had left two days ago and was yet to return, an oddity in itself since the annoying owl didn't often leave Crown.... but Crown had to admit he missed him, missed the constant companship even if Alexander usually remained in silence and scratched the hell out of him. At least with him there he hadn't felt alone.
Crown scanned the crowd. Officially he was here on 'duty', he acted as a protector for his herd and hadn't long been awarded the honor of being deemed 'ready' to take his own duties. This was supposed to be an easy assignment, his job being to watch over the herdmembers that had come to interact and place.... after all the bad things that had happened with the Miakoda herd it was no surprise really that extra care was being taken to see to everyone's safety. That didn't mean he couldn't mingle, didn't mean that he couldn't leave for a moment or two..... though Crown did feel honor bound to so.
Needing a chance he lowered himself to the ground, folding his front hooves under him as he watched the happiness before him.
