The story starts with two 16 year old kids, a poor boy and a rich girl. Their lives are completely different; the boy is a kind, but scared kid who is an only child in a poor family. Having two parents that abuse him and their money on drugs and beer. The girl is in a nice rich family though, her family includes to loving parents that want the best for their child(ren... girl's choice). The story goes that the boy and the girl are childhood friends, having known each other for years and had a kind of a small secret crush that the other person didn't know about. They meet up on most days in a secret junkyard hide out that Cody (the boy) finds and hides from his abusive parents. The boy likes to hide there, hanging out with the girl because she seems like the only kind person to him. One day, Cody's parents get drunker then usual, finding a game to beat and abuse Cody and he just couldn't take it anymore. When his parents finally passed out in the living room, he went to the dirty kitchen and grabbed his father's sleeping pills. Leaving the house the next morning, he didn't go to school that day because he took his bruised and hurt body to the secret junkyard hide out. Later, around lunch, the girl saw that he didn't go to school which meant that he was hiding at the junkyard. She went to the junk yard but found him laying on the ground, seeing the most now empty pill bottle. She called for help and soon Cody was rushed to the hospital, his parents thrown in jail when they found that they had many illegal drugs and other things. Cody was in a coma which saddened the girl, she worried about him so much and wanted to always be by his side.

*Three years later*

The girl had continued to take care of Cody, he had been taken to her new home when she moved out when she was 18. She took care of him along with nurses that would come and check his condition to see if he was okay. One day, Cody begins to wake up, seeing that he was in a mysterious room and house till he sees his now 19 year old friend. His childhood fear still lingered in his body so can the girl help him get over his new life and will they ever express themselves to each other, catching up on the three lost years?

Cody shivered slightly feeling the cold rag but then moved a bit, this was the first time in three years.

<-Bump->

The nurse looked at him in amazement. "It-It-It's a miracle!" She studdered in amazement. She hasnt seen someone recover in this short of a timeperiod in a long time. "See, What do we do now?" Em questioned. "Umm, Just let him be for a while. He needs to wake up o his own" The nurse said taking the ice bucket away.

Em was staring around the room uncomfotably until she heard Cody speak."C-Cody?" She asked. "YOU'RE AWAKE!!!." She looked at him shocked. She came up to him and hugged ightly. "Everything's going to be alright.." She whispered in his ear.

Em let go of him and said "You remember. Yes. It is." trying to stay calm. She didnt want him to become to excited. "Nurse, He's awake." Again trying to stay calm. The nurse ran out there. She kindof just stood there to try and regain her trail of thought. "Put this over his heart to help his breathing" The nurse said handing him like a bag filled with a type of medicine.

Em stared at him. "Everything looks different to you because.. You've been in a coma for about 3 years." She said with tears rolling down her face, staining Cody's gown. She then stood up, and started crying tears of joy and sadness.
