Living Quarters This X shaped building is next to the main Academy castle building. It is three floors high and holds the living quarters for staff, teachers, guests, and students alike. Each wing is the same length and holds a tower turret at the end that extends up from the third floor to a fifth floor height. The turrets hold reading and common rooms. At the intersection of the X is also another small turret that holds a clock and a bell. Student Wings - Northwest Wing (Female) - Southeast Wing (Male) Student rooms are all doubles and come equipped with a desk, bed, bookshelf, dresser. Common gender bathrooms and showers are located in respective wings of the dorm. There are two bathtubs in each. The rest are standing showers. The Girls Wing and Boys Wing reading rooms are exactly the same, unless the students decide to furnish other decorations to them. The student reading rooms are smaller than the teacher reading room/lounge. There is a fireplace to light a fire in the event that it is cold. Sofas, chairs, and two tables are in the reading room. The second table is larger and can fit more people at the table. There is also one board for notices and writing, much like chalk boards. A few bookshelves are in the room as well holding books and small games that don't take up space. A pitcher with water is always available if someone is thirsty. Southwest Wing - Teacher and Staff Wing (Yes, this includes the headmaster) Unlike the students, the teacher have their own rooms. In addition, the teachers are allotted their own bathrooms inside their single living quarters. The teachers' turret tower is wider than the student towers. After all, teachers must have some sort of advantage over the students. In the lounge, there is a fireplace to heat the room. Sofas and normal wooden chairs and tables are present along side the bookshelves by the wall. Some of the bookshelves are built into the wall. Exclusive to the reading rooms, the teachers lounge also has section that can be used to make food or call for food from the kitchen. The food will be delivered via a dumbwaiter type system. Northeast Wing - Others and Guest Wing These are also single quarters with their own respective bathrooms. These resemble hotel rooms. Note: If you want to make descriptions of your own rooms, you can do them in the SOP Character Application/Discussion/OOC forum, and we can link to them or refer people to them. ----- ROOMMATES! ((Will DeScythe - 4th Year Student))
A blonde head peeked out from behind someone's bed in the dorms. Emerald eyes shifted back and forth as if searching for someone even though there was no one in the room or in the area for that matter. This particular blonde male, unlike the other students, was playing hooky and not at the auditorium for the welcome ceremony. Perhaps, it was because this student had already been to a couple of them, or perhaps, the boy was just busy setting up "orientation gifts" for the unwary while the others had their attentions elsewhere.
The blonde student named Will DeScythe waltzed out of the room and into another room aimlessly. Indeed, some people would find that their beds would fall inward when they lay down on it or that their desks would squeak when touched or ...other things that shall be left to your imagination.
The student ignored the blaring announcement and the strange after comments that came through the "speakerphone" like projection. The announcement from the headmaster had sounded in every reach of the school. Will paid it no heed. There were students to prank and fun to be had.
((Anyone can feel free to find him in a room. First one gets dibs.))

((4th Year Student---Serena))
“Nooo….I did not mean to….drown your baby Mr. Spider…” A white haired female lay on a bed in her designated dorm room and flailed around as she slept. Apparently, the female was having some sort of nightmare about spiders. The eight legged creatures freaked her out in many ways. The way they moved, all those little black beady eyes staring at her, the white web that ensnared their victim… “Ahhhhhhhh!!! Don’t eat me!!!” And Serena finally woke up…only to find she had been buried up to her neck in sand. “What the f**k!?!??!!?”
For a few moments Serena lay there trapped beneath the sand looking very much like a deranged turtle as she tried to keep herself calm (failing at doing just that). Finally, her rage metre filled and began boiling over. Unleashing a devastating attack, Serena broke free of her sandy prison and leapt onto the floor. Speckles of sand clung to her clothes and long hair which earned a swift twitch of the woman’s eyebrow. Frantically, she began dusting herself off trying to be rid of every grain of sand. “This school.....” She growled through clenched teeth This school is a joke!!!! Xander!!! I will kick your a** for sending me here!!!” The white haired woman was infuriated and was definitely not in any mood to make friends or learn.
From the corner of her angry silver eyes, Serena spotted a white envelope addressed to her. She crossed the room and picked it up. Carefully, Serena studied the letter before tearing it open. Upon pulling out the slip inside Serena was coated in a fresh layer of….sand. “…………” She ignored her anger, put it to one side and saved it for a rainy day. Glancing at the white slip Serena tilted her head to the side “Sand group?...” Her lips twitched a few times as she let the slip full to the floor. “THAT’S IT! I QUIT! SHOW ME THE NEAREST EX-----“ She never got to finish her sentence because she was interrupted by a bucket of sand falling from above and nailing her on the head.

Trixie stood in the sunny outdoors hastily wiping her face with a handkerchief from one of her pockets. She still wasn't completely dry, but at least her face was most likely better off in comparison to most of the other students leaving the auditorium, which would eventually end up being an indoor lake should the rain not stop. Trixie's blue hair was now scraggly from the whole ordeal, and thus required a brush which was in her dorm. She expected no difficulties along the way. No! No! Those must be coming from the rooms of some rather clumsy students! Trixie thought in response to the muffled screams and crashing noises she heard while in the hallway. She was soon in front of her door, and decided on the spot to make a dramatic entrance. It was good practice. "Introducing… The Terrific Trixie!" she announced out loud as she gracefully spun around and grasped the doorknob. She slowly turned it while loudly commenting with a smile, "Trixie knows none of that nonsense she heard out in the hallway couldn't have possibly come from this particular room!" She frowned. "That better be the case," she quickly mumbled in a rather menacing tone. The Terrific Trixie's purple eyes twitched as the door swung open to reveal the room to her. The piles of sand were the first things to catch her attention especially since portions of them crept into her side of the room. She was so entranced by the mess that she didn't even notice the other girl in the room. Trixie took a few steps into the room and fell on her knees before her inner drama queen took over. "Why? Ooh-ohh why?" she questioned as she covered her face with her hands. "Trixie didn't expect to see such a mess in her room!" she exclaimed as she let out a sob. "Trixie's beautiful hair yearns to be brushed, but how can Trixie think about brushing her hair when there's sand--sand scattered all over the place!" the blue haired girl cried out. She continued with her monologue and announced, "Oh, the things Trixie must endure--and she will endure! For she is magnificent. For she is grand. For she, above all else, is terrific!" She lifted her hands off her face and blinked. "However," she added, "this doesn't change the fact that... of all the worst possible things that could happen!" She momentarily paused before flailing her arms as she loudly enunciated, "THIS. IS. THE. WORST. POSSIBLE. THING!" Having finished her monologue, she ran to her bed and buried her face in a pillow.

((4th Year Student---Serena))
Poor Serena had not been able to express her raw burning anger alone. As she took a deep breath ready to curse the entire school into the ground she was interrupted by the arrival of a younger female. Her new dorm mate. Apparently the sight of such mess was far too much for the girl to bear for she entered the room and promptly fell to her knees and began spouting random words in the most dramatic scene Serena had ever witnessed. (And really wouldn’t want to see again…but we all know she will ;D)
Serena’s eye twitched as she stared, mouth slightly ajar, at the very weird and apparently loud girl. “Please….just please tell me she has the wrong room…” Serena thought while pleading to whatever god it was at work in this school. And then to top of her little drama show, Trixie ran over to her bed and buried her face in the pillow. Serena simply stared on in complete disbelief at her lack of luck “This day….just gets better..” She whispered not wanting to make her presence known to the girl for fear she may receive another drama performance.
Ah to hell with it…Serena was going to make sure the girl knew she was right there. She puffed out her chest and pointed her left hand index finger at Trixie's lifeless form and rightly said “Hmph. You. Trixie was it? Are you quite finished moping? If not go mope somewhere else. I want to tidy up this crap hole.” As blunt as ever…
The white haired female really couldn’t give a damn as to how Trixie may react to her words. The younger girl will learn in time that Serena was…simply put, a b***h with an attitude that screamed ‘I don’t give a damn about you’ Turning her back on the drama minded girl, Serena picked up the bucket that had fallen on her a short moment ago and began the search for a broom. “Geez, you acted like it was you who had been attacked by sand…Well, you better get used to this because apparently things like this happen all the time here.” Serena stated in an irritated tone of voice. “And if the terrific Trixie is not careful …she may end up having a terrific accident..” A small statement that may come true should Trixie somehow annoy Serena.

It finally hit Trixie that someone else was in the room. The blue haired girl lifted her head off the pillow while pouting her lips. Trixie blinked as she noticed the white haired girl for the first time since entering the room. That white haired girl must've been the one spouting all that unnecessary criticism just a few moments ago. "Trixie was not moping!" Trixie snapped. "Trixie was complaining!" She reached underneath the bed for a bag that she had put there earlier in the day, pulled out a brush, and then walked to a nearby mirror. "Who might you be, anyway?" Trixie asked as she proceeded to brush her hair in the mirror. One might get the wrong idea that she was talking to herself, but she was actually questioning the other girl in the room. "Are you a fan?" the blue haired girl happily asked. Obviously, Trixie still didn't know the white haired girl was her roommate. "Because if you are," Trixie grumbled, "Trixie doesn't want your unnecessary criticism!" She finished brushing her blue hair upon the last word of her sentence, and looked into the mirror wondering if she should stay to clean up some of the sand on her side of the room, or to go to the mailroom.

Frank wasn't very happy. It was fairer to say that he was a bit pissed off. His map was useless, the ink running off of it after a few minutes, just enough time for him to get lost in the maze of corridors. Someone had set up a bucket trap in an archway, which resulted in the putrid smelling gunk that coated his back. When he had finally found his room, it had been filled to the ceiling with ping pong balls. Mysteriously, the never poured out of the door, but stayed in the confines of the room unless he pushed them out, whereupon they vanished. After missing the acceptance speech trying to clear the room, he didn't really see much point in doing anything till after dinner. He could try and find a signal, get some farmville going. That might make the school barely bearable. Taking off his now crusty jacket, he threw it onto the single bed, wanting to claim it rather than have to sleep on a bunkbed, which was on the other side of the room. His jacket landed, bounced and disappeared into the wall as the bed folded up, seamlessly joining to the wall. Speachless, Frank felt the seam, not feeling a thing, but the bed folded back out at the push of his hands on the wall. Without the jacket. (It would turn up later in the girls changing room, though he would never get it back) With a weary sigh that suggested that this was the least of his worries, Frank carefully checked the bed before flopping down onto it, hoping for a few moments of peace before dinner.

Finally the girl showed some spirit, more spirit than necessary or advised. “I believe Trixie was moping and complaining. I also believe that Trixie is continuing to do both of those things despite the fact that it is soooo very obvious that I do not give a crap or a damn about Trixie’s little dilemma.” The white haired girl continued her search for the rare and elusive broom and barely paid any attention to what the girl was saying. However, that quickly changed when Trixie asked if she was a fan. Serena snorted and turned herself to face the blue haired girl. “Hm? Me? Oh you know…I am no one…just your roommate for the next year…”
Smirking as she approached Trixie, Serena shook her head “Oh no. I am most definitely not a fan of you. You are loud, annoying, arrogant and you speak in first person…What a successful first meeting. Wouldn’t you agree?” Serena was never shy when it came to sharing a few thoughts on people. She was still rather peeved that this year she was sharing a dorm with someone. The silver eyed girl was pretty sure that this was some crazy idea thought up by the idiotic head teacher; his way of trying to get her to interact with people in a more suitable manner or something.
All was not in vain, for Serena had located the broom which was propped up against the dresser which her roommate was sitting at. Leaning over Trixie without so much of an ‘excuse me’ Serena grabbed the broom and began to sweep up the sand on the floor into a tidy pile. “If you don’t want my criticism then you should probably think about moving dorms. I tend to speak my mind without caring for the emotions of others.” She smiled brightly almost innocently towards Trixie. The task of cleaning up the sand was the only thing keeping Serena’s mind of all her other problems. Like, how was she going to escape this school and how will she cope with her younger brother buzzing around?

Making faces at the mirror was Trixie's response to the supposed fan's continuous unwanted criticism, but then the white haired girl mentioned something that almost made Trixie gasp. "R-r-roommate?" Trixie stuttered as she stared into the mirror in disbelief as if talking to herself. Trixie was lucky enough last year to have a room all to herself, but now she had to share a room with a grumpy girl. The blue haired girl continued staring into the mirror even as her roommate almost bumped into her in order to acquire a broom. Trixie was then seemingly issued a challenge by her roommate about changing her dorm. It was hard for the second year student to ignore such a challenge, and the mess in her room became the least of her concerns. "Hmmph!" Trixie grunted as she recomposed herself. Trixie turned to face her roommate who was busy sweeping the floor. "Very well, Trixie shall share this room with you," she stated while narrowing her magenta eyes. "Trixie will indeed move though for she must check the mailroom." Having made her objective known, Trixie walked towards the door, but stopped just short of it. "Oh, and by the way," Trixie said as she turned her head over to her roommate, "you've yet to tell Trixie your name, so Trixie shall call you 'Grumpy Girl' for now." Trixie softly laughed, and then announced, "Ta-ta, Grumpy One!" as she exited. Exiting Living Quarters. Reappearing in Mailroom.

Fourth year Ember Finding nothing of real interest going on in the mail room but for some people simply finding out they would have a hard time finding partners, Ember decided to leave the crowded area to find her room, wandering to the dorms without looking back, she was in desperate need of some down time after the thorough soaking she had gotten in the auditorium when their principle had given his announcement and someone had decided to pour water all over the students. Ember and water didn't mix, it was fairly evident from her attitude after the shower. she could handle a soak in the tub at absurdly high temperatures, or a simple rinse soap and run trip to the shower, but that was all she really could tolerate, other wise she was fairly irritable as she was now. She barely even knew how to swim. Finding her room number and entering she found little wrong with her sleeping arrangements, two different beds for two different students, set up neatly in the center of the room, however. Ember, as spontaneous as she was randomly began to move items in the room to suit her own style, dragging desk from wall, placing bed against wall, moving desk to opposite wall, aranging lamps in sepearate edges of the room, things were completely moved on her side of the room and she dusted her hands off as she finished, This is much better she sighed before grabbing her bag again and carrying it to the bathroom to take a moment to change.

((Will DeScythe - 4th Year Student - I'm just going to join the trend of placing a picture in the post to differentiate between different characters.)) The blonde fourth year student skipped down the dorm hallways and passed a disgruntled Trixie. He raised an eyebrow at Trixie's hat and stole it deftly with a simple flick of the wrist, whistling as the hat left the purple haired student's head, which might feel bald without that wizardish hat. "Who's the grumpy one now?" He skipped pass her and happened to pass by Ember's room as well and then the female bathroom area. The door was closed, and Ember's stall was also closed yet Will had to make a comment. "Ah, look who's changing!~" he sang loudly even though there couldn't have been a way for him to see through a bunch of walls to see Ember changing. Eventually, Will skipped all the way from the female wing (Northwest Wing) to the male student wing (Southeast Wing). He skidded to a stop by one of the triple dorm rooms as if on cue and watched as the door suddenly flapped open (YES, FLAPPED!) to show a Franky on a rather springy looking bed. "Ah, ha! You were my roommate to be, but you got chickened out!"

Frank was too annoyed to sleep, so he had taken up writing in his phone about what had gone wrong with today so far, an electronic diary, so to speak. He had just caught up to the bed incident when his door flicked open, revealing a cocky looking blond guy. ”Ah, ha! You were my roommate to be, but you got chickened out!” From his place on the bed, Frank lifted his hat off from his eyes to take a better look at the smarmy git in the doorway. He didn't say anything as he looked him up and down for a few seconds, before putting his hat back over his eyes. ”..Don't know what you're on about. My map says..said that this was my room, so I've got no clue what all this about me bein' you're roommate's all about.” With nothing more to say, Frank tried ignoring the blond boy, hoping that he would leave without any hassle, when an idea popped into his head. ”You look as though you've been here for a few years. My map's ussless, and I reckon that if we get down to dinner before everyone else, that we'll get food faster. There's what, a couple of hundred people live here? I'm not waiting in a cue that long.” Saving his phone as he walked over, Frank wrapped his arm over Will's shoulder, steering him down the hall. ”So lead on! What way to food?”

Adrianna Neverhart sighed as she sat in the girls' reading wing, her blazing amber eyes glued to a book about fire and the other elements. She had been sitting on her bed when she'd noticed it laying under her pillow. Instead of asking someone whether they'd left it there, she'd decided to do something somewhat constructive. She couldn't help but start taking notes somewhere along the line, and once she was done witht he several chapters on fire and its personality, ect. she snapped the book shut and reread her notes. Standing, she tucked the notes into the book and that under her arm as she strolled down to her dorm room.

((Will DeScythe - 4th Year Student.)) "Sure sure..." Will dismissed Frank's apparent denial of knowing anything about being Will's roommate. The blonde had not seen Frank's phone, but if he had, he would have asked what it was because phones did not exist on this particular world. "Well, former roommate that never existed, food and dinner you say?" He chuckled. "You just can't read the map." The blonde haired fourth year student smiled and failed to mention that the map and the academy buildings appeared to change structures from time to time. "Food is in the main academy building, Mr Hat Guy. Here, since you like hats, let me give you this one." And with a plunk, Will slapped Trixie's magic hat on top of Frank's hat. He then put a hand over Frank's shoulder as well and began to dance down the hall with his newfound friend. Along the way, they happened to skip pass Adrianna, who was holding some fantasy book (since none of the students knew of magic yet.) "So... what's your name and what group are you in?" Will declared out loud to Adrianna and Frank. "Did you go to the mailroom and check yet?"They happened to also be in hearing range of Serena and Ember, or rather, for some reason, their voices were echoing very loudly in the hallways of the dorm. As if on cue, right after Will asked about the mailroom, the dorm ceiling started dropping random envelopes in front of them.
