This RP is open to anyone - as long as the character(s) you are playing is a toddler. We find the setting outside the Academy's gym, in a small playground and picnic area.

Once their things were unpacked, Jocelyn took her little ghost twins for a tour of the Academy grounds, and Clementine and Bedoiver followed her solemnly, hand in hand, until the reached the playground. It was deserted. Jocelyn propped her parasol over her head to shade her from the sun, opened her copy of Jane Eyre, and told the kids they would have some time to run around before dinner.

Bedovier released Clementine's hand, and started to patrol around the jungle gym with his hands behind his back, stepping high to avoid getting woodchips in his shoes. Clementine, concious of her skirts, started climbing the steps to the tallest tower. Once at the top, she called down to her brother, "Bedovier, you can see everything from up here!"

Bedovier took that as an invitation to join her in the tower, and climbed up after her.
"There are more people coming," he announced after a look around.

Actually there was someone already there, just a very quiet someone. In the shadowy part of the tower room sat a little green boy with golden hair and eyes that almost gleamed eerily in the dark. He had a coloring book and was coloring as closely within the lines as possible with some crayons. When he heard the ghost girl arrive at the top of the tower he looked up. He shrugged to himself and refocused onto his coloring book. She hadn't bothered him, he wouldn't bother her.

The little boy looked a little odd with the unmatching clothes he was wearing that day. He had a white sweater that had different bright colored stars on it, blue plaid pajama pants, blue flip flops, and a black and white stripped beanie. Though as hard as Yoo could try Kenneth did not want to wear anything else so that day like any other day Yoo had just taken out the ghost boy outside wearing that mixed matched clothes. If Kenneth was ok with that Yoo was too. Yoo being Yoo of course wanted to spend outside painting but of course he wasn't going to leave Kenneth doing thing which was why the adult made sure to paint somewhere near the playground. Not wanting Kenneth to get bored he had let him go over to the playground to play.

The little ghost boy didn't want to go but after seeing all of the fun things he unclung himself from the adult meta and began to float right over to it. For some reason the boy refused to walk like any normal boy or girl meta and stuck to floating everywhere he had to go. Floating almost right passed the tower Kenneth had stopped to look at two kids up on top of it. "Dat looks like fun." The boy said while still staring at them. He had not yet noticed the other boy who was coloring.

Delilah had been more than reluctant to come to the playground since returning to the Academy without Rasiel. In fact, this moment was the first time she had not been crying since her return. She frowned beneath her medical mask, her eyes still slightly red from tears as she wiped them away clumsily with her sleeve. Maybe she'd give it one more try in making friends. Delilah had seemed so excited by the idea that she'd be able to make friends before, but now that she was here, it was a bigger hurdle than she had ever imagined. Toddling over to the side of the playground, she stood just outside the boxed off area filled with wood chips.

Andy had brought her and Kira there to help get her some socialization, but Kira was more than a handful of excitement as she ran off in random directions, eventually running off in the opposite direction of the playground. Andy took off running after her, yelling out to her in anger. She'd never be able to control that child whatsoever. Thus, Delilah was left completely alone.

Her eyes scanned the floor curiously and with careful precision as she bent down and picked up a wood chip, being absolutely careful not to drop Mr. Roosevelt, her teddy bear, as she inspected the item in her hand. Delilah looked about then threw down the chip, uninterested. She kept her eyes on the tower, hearing voices of other children in there as she backed up toward the bench on the side and climbed up into the seat and sat down. Delilah sat patiently, waiting for Andy to possibly return, kicking her feet slightly as she sat there.

Karitzu stepped slowly out of his black sedan wearing a white button up shirt with the top button loose, and a pair of black slacks, and what looked like less than perfect black polished shoes. Possibly his pair that he gets dirty from time to time. He reached his hand out, picking up Michael and placing him on his shoulder.

"I had heard there would be other toddlers around. Alright Michael, are you ready to make some friends?"

Michael put his hands on Karitzu's head and nodded. "Uh huh!" He replied enthusiastically. Michael had been excited to come to the park and see new faces. The house was stuffy, and although he had toys there, other children were good to see.

Karitzu walked towards the playground and knelt a little bit to let Michael down. Michael stood in the wood chips for a while, looking in different directions until he started making his way towards a little girl sitting all alone. He was wearing little blue shoes with Velcro straps, and his blue overalls with a blue shirt on. His favorite color was blue. His black hair stood up on end everywhere, as if defying physics itself.

He plopped down next to her and giggled a little. "Hiya. I'm Michael! Who are you?"

Delilah had been so focused on the tower, she hadn't even noticed the small boy that approached her until her spoke out to her. She squeaked in surprise as her bright green eyes focused on quickly on Michael's hair. His hair was so fascinating, that she almost forgot to reply.

"D-delilaaaah~" she managed to stutter out.

She looked a little worried, but the hint of a smile beneath her mask broke the feeling.

"Miiiiii.. ka-.... kaaaal~" she called out sing-songingly and then giggled.

She was more than tempted as she reached out with her stubby little fingers and carefully felt his hair with the tips of her fingers. Her curiosity knew no bounds but she was still sure to be as gentle as possible. "I just c-came... back." she explained slowly, her eyes never leaving from staring at Michael's hair.

Michael giggled as she played with his hair. "It never stays down. Daddy tried, but it just pops back up!" Michael didn't mind her stuttering and she had a pretty name. He was a little flushed in the face but still perceptive and responsive.

"You have a pretty name. Are you okay? Do you get sick easy? Daddy says people wear those because they get scared of being sick. Do you play any games? I like using my imagination." Michael babbled off, his words stringing together in places. He thought he had a friend, and it made him happy. His little fingers played with the pockets on his overalls as he spoke.

Karitzu watched from a distance, grabbing his walking cane from the car before patting the hood and walking across the playground to the picnic tables, and taking a seat. He rested both hands lazily upon the handle of the cane.

Delilah began to retract her hand, becoming slighting overwhelmed by all the questions. She frowned beneath her mask, trying to find the flow of conversation and deciding how she should answer without talking all that much. After a long pause, fidgeting with Roosevelt nervously as she shifted her eyes to the ground, "I get... s-sick a lot." she commented softly.

She paused for a bit long before looking at him again. "I like b-... b-books." she answered, blinking her eyes with half curiosity, half worry. She was trying her best to be engaging so he would want to be her friend, she never had friends, so the task was harder than it sounded.

Michael's eyes lit up and the thought of books. "I loooove books!" Michael began fidgeting about with excitement. "Science books are my favorite. Did you know that gravity pushes down on you at nine point eight meters per second? That's why we don't float off into space!" Michael kicked his little feet about and smiled brightly at her, flashing what white teeth he had.

"You sure are interesting." He looked at her teddy bear, and then at her face again. "We should be best friends."

Delilah watched as the boy lit up with excitement. As he began to ramble on about gravity, her eyes were calm and observing. She nodded at Michael's suggestion to be friends then set down Roosevelt beside her and she slid herself down from the bench. Delilah picked up a near by stick and began to draw in a patch of dirt.

She drew a large 'F' an equals sign and a large 'G'. She then drew a line next to the G, where on top of the line she wrote an 'm' with a small '1' next to it and another 'm' with a small '2' next to it. Underneath the line, she drew an 'r' and a small '2' right above it.

When she finished, she looked back up at Michael. "You like N-newton?" she asked calmly, waiting for a response intently.

Michael nodded and slowly got to his feet from where he was. He walked clumsily over to her and then drew with his finger in the dirt.

" G is 6.67259 x 10-11 N * m2 / kg2, that's the number for the constant, and r is a straight line, between two particles. "

Michael smiled bright and gave her a silly thumbs up. He was quite fond and knowledgeable of physics. That was the item he was given after all.

"You are smart. I like you. Smart people are fun. "

Then he wrote down F=MA in the dirt with his other hand as he was bent over in the dirt.

"This one is my favorite. I like to know this one because it lets me do other ones. "

Delilah's eyes seem to light up when Michael began to draw equations in the dirt. She nodded and giggled as he spoke. "You are r-really smart toooo~ I l-like smart!" she responded happily, feeling less nervous about making friends with Michael. She listened to his words intently, excited that she finally had something in common with someone She began to draw equations for Newton's second law in the dirt, giggling and humming happily.

Michael continued to watch for a little bit and put his hands in the sides of his overalls, hooking the thumbs around the straps.

"Do you want to play tag? Or go play on the slide?" I could push you on a swing!" Michael bounced up and down, peeking down to catch eye contact, his upper torso bending.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 14, 2011 5:31 pm

Delilah had changed her pace a little bit as she was already busy drawing a larger sized flat-looking lizard with scales over its back and a long tail with a turtle looking head. The drawing look like it was about to eat the equations as she gave a loud roar playfully. Michael's questions caught her attention as she sat up and smiled brightly. "E-edmon-t-t-toniaaaaa~" she called out with a giggle.

She stood up and dusted off her dress a bit. "Slide!" she exclaimed as she giggled even more. She grabbed at Michael's hand and tugged it gently as she began to sang a little bit, "Ghasar-g-gundi is a play g-ground sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide~".

Michael watched and clapped when she finished her dinosaur and then brushed his hands clean of dirt before she grabbed his hand. He laughed and squeezed her hand as they ran off towards the slide.

"Do you do trivia? My dad does trivia when he's bored." He waited patiently at the ladder to let her go first. She was super smart and well knowledgeable in more stuff than he was.

"Daddy said it's respectful to let girls go first." He coyly put his hands behind his back and drew in the chips with the tip of his foot. He looked up at her with his bright blue eyes with an adorable look.
