Fusion looked at his new little friend Embri, she had insisted on following him home and Fusion had to admit that he wasn't sure how his mother would take it. Still, he couldn't just leave her behind.
"I'm home..." He called, looking around for any signs of his brothers or mother. Part of him wanted to sneek Embri in without anyone noticing and keep her a secret for a long as possible. He looked at her for a moment, admiring the cute little collar around her neck once more before whispering, "Hide for a while.... I guess I should tell them about you first."Embri pouted and shook her head in the stubborn way of hers. "No big shot, I go with you." She smiled up at him, hoping that it would soften the blow to her new friend. She had seen him playing near a tree and couldn't resist joining him. "Plus, they will love me. I am adorable." Embri added with determination as she shook her neck causing the charm on her collar to jingle and jangle like a bell.
Her plait fell into her face for a moment forcing her to blow it out of the way.Fusion sighed in defeat, he didn't want to argue with her, after all that wouldn't exactly help aid his task of convincing his family to let him keep her. "Ok," he mumbled before turning away from her in an effort to find his family.
He gulped, slightly nervous about their reaction. His brother may have wings... but if Fusion had his way he would have a familar friend all of his own. [[Embri's colour code.... #e238f2 ....just to help me.]]

The first one to answer the announcement, Samil barreled toward his older brother. Even though his wings fluttered frantically, it was still never enough to achieve lift off, but he vowed to himself to do it one day. But at this moment, it was far from his mind as the form on his wingless sibling came into view. Grinning ear to ear, the youngest colt raced closer.
It was as he got closer, that he was sure he heard Fusion talking to something. Or was he talking to himself? Samil hoped not, he didn't want any crazy family members, that wouldn't look good for any future reputation he might have. But he would soon find out what his sibling was doing anyways. "Fusion! Who are you talking to?" He called out. Before he could get an answer though, he got to a distance where he saw the small creature walking beside the other colt.
What is that? He thought to himself. At that moment his brother was a second thought in his mind as he turned his attention to the thing at his side. When he was finally close enough, he skidded to a stop, coming up almost right on top of the creature. Eyes stared down at it, taking in the odd hair, collar, fluffy tail -everything- it was so new. Leaning his head down, he sniffed at it. "What did you bring home? I think Mom might kill it!" He exclaimed, almost matter-of-factly.
Quidal was grazing while two of her three children played around her. She didn't know exactly where her third went, just knew he went out to play somewhere and hoped that it was close. When the call that Fusion was home, her ears perked and she lifted her head to gaze in the direction he was coming from. The first thing she saw was Samil running to his older brother, probably to tackle him or something that brothers did, but the next thing she saw surprised her.
It seems that something had followed her son home. Not that she minded, but a fox. Well, at least it wasn't a wolf or a mountain lion. With a sigh, she turned and headed toward Fusion, Samil and the fox, hoping to get the reasoning behind the addition and to clear any confusion with her other offspring, knowing they don't know what a fox is.

Durga was just returning from his lone exploring when he spotted his brothers with something strange and fluffy taking their entire attention. He wondered what interesting things did he miss while he was away. This new thing didn't look dangerous since his brothers were so close to it and for a moment he felt left out just because he wasn't here with them. This made him hurry up to where they were so that he too could investigate this new comer for him self.

Fusion smiled sheepishly at his mother, unsure how to read the look upon her face. Still, with a gulp he started to speak; "This is Embri..."
It was at that moment that Embri decided to speak up, it was an action that made Fusion wince.... what if she said the wrong thing? What if she spoke out of turn? Fusion held his breath hoping it wasn't anything bad....
Embri wiggled her rump causing her long fluffy tail to swish around her, she looked to all the purple creatures around her... a party! She smiled, she liked being around others, though she had taken a particular liking to Fusion. "I'm Embri... a fox, cunning and lovely." She turned, taking in all the details, two of the smaller ones had wings but what she could only assume was the mother didn't... meaning those wings must have come from their father? Interesting. "May I stay here?" She said, her eyes sparkling up at the larger of them all, the mother.
She looked to Fusion, "Of course, I will be staying with Fusion no matter the answer." Then possessively she walked towards him, wrapping herself around his front hooves. She had already learnt that he was worried about bringing her here and she didn't want to make him uncomfortable.
Fusion held his breath, worry creasing his features as Embri spoke and acted. She wrapped herself around his hooves and he felt a little better but the fact she had basically told his mother that she would be staying no matter what made him cringe.... and he was sure a fiery rage would soon follow.
He looked to his siblings in search of a distraction from his thoughts.

Samil didn't really appreciate being ignored as the creature, who had just called herself a fox... whatever that was, started speaking to his mother. He snorted softly, but soon, he couldn't care less about the thing as he hopped over to Fusion and nipped at his ear. "Hey Fusion! Where'd you get that thing from? Show me so I can get one too!" He exclaimed greatly, not caring if their mother gave a negative answer to this Embri at her question of staying.
When Durga joined them, he hopped over to give the same greeting to him as he did to the oldest brother. "Durga... look! Fusion brought home something. We all should get something weird like that." He exclaimed. Normally, this foal wasn't as hyper, but the arrival of the fox stirred up a bunch of curious questions and he felt that he couldn't get them all out if he was all slow and such. When he saw the fox curl around Fusion's legs, he tilted his head. "Hey... what's it doing?! Do you have a slave or something Fusion? That's awesome!" That excitement was quickly quelled when scolded by his mother.
Quidal looked to her oldest son as he introduced his new canine companion. She had noticed that he seemed nervous about something, but smiled anyways as the fox turned to address them, mainly her. At the question of if she could stay, her ears perked. Before she could take any consideration, Embri had already chimed that she would be staying whether she had said yes or no. The fox was bold, but it could get her or Fusion hurt and that worried her. With a small snort, she replied. "It's not smart to claim that you'll be sticking around despite what answer you may get. You never know, I could have been more stricter soquili and might have forced you to leave with violence. It's that sort of answers that can get you and Fusion hurt." She explained, flicking her tail lightly, "but, other than that... you can stay."
Seeing Durga's return, she was that much more relieved to see her family back safe and sound. She watched as the youngest foal hopped about between his two brothers and ask questions about the fox. It was his last comment about Embri wrapping around Fusion's legs that caused her to furrow her brow. "Samil... I don't ever want to hear you say things like that!"

Now that he was close to his brothers Durga decided not to get too close to the newcomer. After all that thing had fangs. He greeted his brother Samil with same affection he received from him. And went closer to his mother's side because that made him feel safer.
'' I don't want one of those... ''
Fox's wrapping around his brother's front hooves made his hair stand up and he stood even closer to his mother. He didn't understand what was happening which was something he never felt comfortable with.

Fusion felt his face blush as he listened to his brothers and mother. He didn't mean to ignore any of them or anything he simply wanted to run away as fast as he could.... not liking the idea that one may try to steal her or driver her away! Fusion rather liked Embri, though even he had to admit that having her curled around his hoof was not helping things. Not sure what to say he ended up stammering, "Eh.... em... well.... no. She is a friend." He said it sheepishly as he looked Samil, two little fangs showing. "And... well... eh... she sort of found... me." He gulped the last word and looked to his mother hopefully.
Fusion wasn't stupid, Embri hadn't exactly aided their case for her staying with her obvious attitude problem, so Fusion hoped he could find a way of fixing the situation. "I promise to look after her... and keep her out of trouble." He grinned up at her, hoping that his smile would somehow change his mothers mind.
Although Fusion had heard Durga's words he decided not to comment... because to be honest, in that moment... even Fusion didn't want Embri, but only because he was pretty sure he was about to get slayed alive. Maybe this hadn't been his best idea.Embri quirked her eyebrow at Fusions 'mother'. "If I am not smart... then how come I managed to find a big strong stallion to look after me?" She grinned up at her, quite oblivious to any dangers, "And I do believe...." Her head fell to the side, "...that you would have done so by now." No, Embri didn't think the mare would turn to violence... and if she did? Well, she had claws and teeth! Please don't hesitate to PM me should I get slow... o.O Sorry ladies *snuggles*

Quidal watched as Durga moved closer to her after greeting his brother Samil. When he moved even closer to her, she smiled softly to him, lowering her head to lick the top of his head comfortingly. "It's alright, she won't hurt you." She whispered lightly, before looking back to the fox and Fusion. "Now, Miss Embri... although I do agree that my son is quite strong... I'm afraid he's not a stallion quite yet."
The mare could see how nervous the fox's actions were making her son, so she had to frown just slightly, tail flicking. Samil didn't help by constantly crying out 'Mom' to get her attention as he skipped about the four of them. "Now, I have not done anything because I am giving you a chance to stay with your 'strong stallion' as you say, but if your attitude does not change, I'm afraid I will have to let you part from my family." That was all she said to the fox as she walked to Fusion and nuzzled him softly, still doing her best to ignore the calls for attention. "Take care of her well, though I'm sure you'll do well."
With that out of the way, she sighed and looked to the hopping foal. "Now... what do you want Samil?"
Samil blinked as Durga moved from him and closer to their mother. He snorted as he seemed cower next to their mother and shook his head disapprovingly. Soon enough, he got an idea and began to bound and leap around the others of the group. "Hey Mom! Mom! Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Moooom!"
He continued to do this as she continued to ignore him. It went on for awhile, but he still kept at it as well as skipping about. He even tripped over his hooves for a moment, but it sure didn't stop him long enough as he soon resumed calling for his mother and hopping about. Finally, when he got her attention, he stopped, tail seemingly to wag as he grinned at her. "Mom... can I go out and find a wild animal pet as well?!" He asked excitedly, especially since Fusion was able to keep this thing called a fox. When he was answered with a 'no', he pouted and stomped a hoof.

Durga saw that his brother Samil didn't approve of his sticking close to their mother but he didn't care. He remembered times when Samil had done the same thing he did right now. So he didn't need his approval.
Their mom always knew how to calm him down. And even though he would never admit it he was moms boy.
Watching Samil do his little acting it was his turn to disapprove. After all it wasn't good idea to go running around looking for trouble 'cos not all wild animals are friendly.
