     Josh opened the door to the room and looked around. Nobody seemed to be there, which was fine by him. To be honest, he would have rather been in the library, but when he had peeked in, there had seemed to be a lot of people in there, and he had figured that claiming his bed in his dorm was probably a good idea. Since there was no one there, he got choice of bed, which was nice, he didn't want to end up with the bad bed.
Walking to the middle of the room, he dropped his bags on the floor, one of which contained his clothing, and another, which was on wheels, that was packed full of books, both fiction and non fiction. After glancing at both of the beds and working out several things in his head, he walked over to the bed farthest away from the couch, taking his bags with him. "Looks like I'm all alone for now hehe~" he giggled as he glanced around the still empty room.
Deciding to make the most of his time, he pulled out his clothes and began putting them in the drawers after meticulously folding them, wanting to get that task done so he could pull out his books.

 Niko frowned to himself as he noted the wide-open door to his new dorm. He had intended to be the first to move in, so that he could be settled before having to deal with his roommate; it seemed this was not to be the case. Oh well. He breathed deeply and stepped into the room.
True to its name, the walls were a deep purplish hue; he found he rather liked the color. In fact, he was feeling strangely uplifted...
It took Niko a moment to realize that the cheerfulness filling him was not his own; he was simply reflecting his roommate's emotions, whoever he or she may be. He briefly considered flitting off to his room without so much as a 'hello,' but decided against it. Niko ambled slowly over towards Joshua. "It seems we are to be roommates," he began in a painfully quiet voice.

Joshua looked up from folding clothes when he heard someone address him. Seeing the black-haired boy, he smiled and nodded. "I does seem that way doesn't it?" he replied, standing up and sitting back on the edge of his bed. He couldn't help but notice the boys pallor and tilted his head, one hand absentmindedly playing with his hair. Was he sick? Would it be rude to point it out?
Shrugging, Josh turned his attention back to the conversation. Looking down at his bag of books, he placed one hand on it. "These books are mine. So, don't touch them alright?" he said in a smug tone, although he wasn't very aware of the fact.
Josh was not used to talking to others, so he frowned, unsure of what to say. They were roommates, so they should get to know each other? Looking up, he nodded. "We should spend some quality time together~" he said with a smile. That was what it called when two people got to know each other, right?

John-Luka bounded down the hallway with his head held high, one hand precariously placed on his Guchi sunglasses, the other carrying a giant leather suitcase. He paused dramatically on reaching the door to his dorm. "Dark Orchid? Dark Orchid?! Oh my God!" He panted, fanning his face with his hand, "I love that color. Oh my, will the walls of the dorm be in dark orchid? I knew I shouldn't have worn this scarf, I'll be so un-coordinated." Holding back a melodramatic tear, John-Luka twisted the handle on the door and boldy entered the room.
To his relief, the walls weren't nearly as drastic as he'd thought. He planted his suitcase in the corner of the room with a loud thunk and turned to observe his roommates, pulling his glasses onto his nose to reveal a pair of bright amber eyes.

Niko flinched away from the bag of books as if it were a bag of plague rats. "N-no problem," he stuttered after a moment. This roommate was clearly an odd one, but Niko supposed that was probably going to be the norm considering which house he'd been put in.
The grey-skinned boy tilted his head almost coquettishly at Joshua's announcement. He was about to reply in the affirmative, when an oncoming wave of mixed cheerfulness and anxiety hit him. He staggered sideways, wincing. "I-I, um, think our other roommate is coming -- " Even as he spoke, a loud voice was drawing near them, and John-Luka swept into the room.
Niko had to take a moment to adjust to this newcomer's incredibly virulent emotions. This'll give me a headache before long if I don't toughen up. Even so, he finally stalked forward, outstretching one cold, gray hand. "Hello. I'm Niko, Niko Ramirez... You must be our roommate, yes?" He couldn't yet meet the boy's eyes.

"It's a pleasure," John-Luka smiled, lightly grasping the shy boy's hand and kissing it tenderly, "Yes I am the third room mate and God bless you both for being so handsome!" he beamed, pausing to look over at Joshua. "Although, we need to give you a serious make over at some point because you look positively like a girl... Oh," he continued, snapping his head back at Niko, "The name's John-Luka." Suddenly remembering to breath, John-Luka stepped back and swept a hand through his hair whilst pursing his lips and eyeing up Niko's clothing.

Niko squirmed; he was incredibly uncomfortable with the entire situation. Although John-Luka was friendly, not to mention pleasant to behold, Niko was never comfortable when around people who were aware of his undead status. In addition, the onslaught of intense emotions was making him quite dizzy. Still, he managed to scrape together a reply. "The p-pleasure's, um, the pleasure's all mine... do I need a makeover?" This was clearly a rather flamboyant specimen, but Niko didn't really want to be forced to reveal his numerous lacerations.

John-Luka frowned, sensing somewhat tension from the Niko boy. A shy chappy, he pondered. Kinky. Having finished assessing Niko's dress sense, he shook off his thoughts and turned the frown on his face into a smile.
"You pull off the whole 'I'm a dark, grungy emo' look excruciatingly well. The choker necklace is an excellent accessory," he licked his lips, lifting his hands into the air so to invisibly sculpt his description, "Then again, a splash of color here and there wouldn't go amiss. I'm thinking dark colors, maroon or midnight blue. A gradual change from your black attire. Bright colors are a no-no, but a hint of boldness will give you such edge, like a burst of confidence from within the darkness."

Niko's hands instantly flew to the strip of fabric wound around his neck at John-Luka's words. He couldn't help it; seeing as the choker was what hid his largest gash, he was rather protective of it. Still, he attempted to carry on as if nothing had happen. "I wouldn't mind adding some dark purple or something..." he all but mumbled. "You should... you could take me shopping, maybe? You seem like you have a pretty strong sense of fasion..." He grimaced a tiny bit, bracing for the oncoming wave of happiness.

On hearing the word 'shopping', John-Luka gasped, bringing his hand to his chest in a slightly dramatic manner.
"Oh my goodness, I would love to take you shopping. I haven't been on a shopping spree since last Tuesday. I hope they have a fabulous clothing store around here." He clapped his hands in excitement.
Changing the subject completely (though he'd gladly dedicate a day to talking about fashion), John-Luka took in his surroundings, finally realizing there was something wrong about the room.
"Two beds, one couch? Who's going where? I mean, I know I arrived last but F.Y.I, sleeping on a couch is so unattractive. I don't know if I could maintain such a level of discomfort."

Niko allowed a small smile. It pleased him to see another person made so excited simply by his words; it genuinely pleased him, it wasn't simply the tendency for whichever person it was to start broadcasting a feeling of upliftedness. "I have a feeling a shopping date with you would last a while... we'll have to coordinate a healthy chunk of time to conduct it in."
Niko winced once more at the sudden downward shift in John-Luka's tone. Living with this person is going to be non-stop mental gymnastics. He attempted to placate the other boy: "...well... I don't really sleep, so, you can have the other bed... I'll just move my things, one moment." He crossed the room with brisk, efficient movements, and collected the bags. "It seems fairest if one of us has a closet and a desk, one has a desk and a dresser, and one has a dresser and a closet... I don't care which is which."

"Good thinking Niko boy, planning is important. Perhaps we ought to have a time restriction to suppress my shopping angst. Don't want to over indulge...again," he laughed awkwardly.
"You don't? Thank you honey you're a star! You have a lot to live up to if you want to be a star, Joshua," he frowned, raising an eye brow at Joshua, who hadn't seemed to have spoken since John-Luka's arrival. "So I'm thinking of taking a closet. Does that sound great to you?" he asked, already beginning to drag his giant suitcase towards the nearest clothes storage facility.

Niko let out a tentative chuckle. "It doesn't matter to me... as long as I have a little space somewhere to stow my things... do you think I could take the desk at the foot of your bed?" Unlike John-Luka, Niko hovered uncertainly, waiting for approval before moving his belongings.

Even though Josh had said that him and his roommate should get to know each other, he had immediately puled out one of his biology books and began reading, seeing as he had finished folding his clothes, which were now in sorted piles on the bed. Having spent most of his time reading, Josh had learned to tune out pretty much everything in order to focus on the words on the page, and had even gone to a few seminars to elevate the speed at which he read. As one finger traced his progress, his eyes flowing over the page, absorbing information about evolution and the origin of life, how it was hypothesized that the first proto-cells had evolved in deep sea alkaline vents, he was barely aware of the fact that there was another human in the room. "Hm hm. Predictable..." he muttered to himself in response to the words in the book, unaware of the fact that he had just been told he looked like a girl.
Hearing someone address him by name, he glanced up from his books, sliding a bookmark in when he noticed that their other roommate had arrived. He tilted his head and smiled in a slightly teasing manner. "Do I?" he asked, "But I suppose sometimes that can be inevitable. Hehe~"
Listening to their conversation about desk, drawers and closets he frowned. "I put a claim on on of the desks, studying's important you know? And since nobody else is calling dibs, I guess I'll take a dresser." he said, "Oh and by the way~ My parents call me Josh, I suppose you two can too, seeing as you're both my dear roommates~"
