The Greatest Scourge of the Sea, Blackbeard the Pirate, sailed across the seven seas in order to search for a treasure that was said that if you possessed it, then you were destined to surpass the gods one day, though, as he ventured across the seas, he stopped at Lucos Harbor[what this place was originally called], only to find that everyone there had either been murdered or were so injured beyond repair that they were one step away from entering Davy Jones' Locker[not the jail]. In order to keep the place alive or at least make a home for himself and other pirates, he fixed the city and the country up and renamed the place, Crescent Harbor, though his search for the famous treasure had ended, his reign of Crescent Harbor began. Soon, mercenaries, villains, pirates, and even assassins traveled from all over the world and joined up in order to keep the place stable with a population of 15,000. Though, one night, the other pirates were rather angered by the fact that one man was going to govern them, they needed to get rid of him, so on one of his nights when he was eating dinner alone, they had poisoned his drink and assassinated him, but now there was no one to govern Crescent Harbor, who would keep the place and its people in check?
