While our story begins with the two women being stressed out in their current abodes in Unova, they soon head to the sunny isles of volcanic Hoenn - a region with more white, sandy beaches and bright blue sea than you can shake a turtwig at! (I wouldn't suggest shaking a turtwig, though - they have a really nasty bite...!)

All the information you could ever need on the location, the places they'll be traversing and the friends (or fiends) they may be encountering can be found on this page and by browsing around related pages on the site. Doesn't Bulbapedia just make everything so much easier?!

Also, although this is a private roleplay for now, we may be accepting more characters in the future... maybe. ;3

A female Mime Jr named Pancake.

Skye rescued Pancake's mother from an abusive sideshow in the Nimbasa amusement part. Although her mother passed away, Pancake has been nothing but a source of cheer and joy in Skye's life. She almost never stays inside her Pokeball, preferring instead to follow Skye around, copy her body movements and cause playful mischief no matter what the situation.

Despite being an unevolved baby pokemon, Pancake is strong and independent thanks to her expert, meticulous training and can be a formidable foe. Skye's bravery has rubbed off on her, and she thinks nothing of barreling into fights with opponents five times her size. She has a small habit of wandering off due to an adventuresome nature, but can usually slip out of trouble and return to Skye's shoulder thanks to her Psychic capabilities.

Other: Aside from Pancake's battle moves, she is also capable of utilising minor illusions and tricks of the mind, including the appearance of being in several places at once, apparently teleporting short distances and turning invisible. She can also create bigger, flashier illusions that make her and her moves look scary to the unwitting bystander - you think Dream Eater sounds horrifying as it is? Hoo boy, you ain't seen nothing yet.




A female Mismagius named Missy.

Lonesome by nature, it took a certain amount of time for Missy as a young Misdreavus to warm up to her new travel companions. Eventually, it was Skye's courage and selflessness that led Missy to forge an unbreakable bond with her trainer. Out of admiration for Skye, Missy has become more and more selfless and protective of her friends - none moreso than Skye herself. The ghost-pokemon is now as rabidly zealous about protecting her family as she used to be about hurting them. She would sacrifice herself for them.

Unwaveringly serious about her responsibilities, she has become a stalwart guardian of the flock. Missy still shows a strongly independent nature, and she often leaps out of her pokeball upon first sensing danger to protect her trainer. She is a master of illusions, lending her talents to creating astounding stage effects rather than performing in the public eye. Though she has retired from frightening humans for the most part, she has no inhibitions whatsoever towards playing malevolent tricks on strangers who really deserve it.



Other: Though she doesn't do it often, Missy's mastery of mental discipline allows her to communicate through telepathy. She can also disippate into thin air, and combine herself into Skye's aura to perform a shield/barrier-like function. During this time, her thoughts trickle through much more clearly, and though this is slightly uncomfortable for Skye, it's a sure-fire means of protection. Missy enjoys playing chess and other strategy games.
