[ People tell me I'm absent-minded, a daydreamer if you will. I tend to forget a lot of things. Mostly important things, its the little things one never forgets about. I'm friendly I suppose. I do make friends easily if thats what being friendly is. I'm always told that I'm too trusting, I like to see the good in people. Like looking on the bright side. That makes me somewhat of an optimist, huh? I don't have a temper, not at all. There's no reason to be angry, that just causes a fuss and I'm too lazy to deal with that. Oh, there's another thing, I'm laid-back. I'd rather stay out of things. They are not normally worth the trouble. I can talk to just about anyone, though I can't tell you that the conversation will be an interesting one. Well, at any rate, that pretty much sums me up. ]
can you blame me for what I am now? After all, I grew up. . .
[ Well, thats a long story, and a short one. I guess I don't really know how to describe it. To begin with, I was born without a father. I do have a father, don't get me wrong, but he left my mother before I was even born. He told her that he wasn't ready for a kid and then he took off. Sorta cruel, huh? Anyways, we always struggled with money. My mom had a hard time paying rent. When I could, I would do odd jobs around town for some extra cash. She never used it for rent though, she wouldn't take my money so I bought food behind her back. Anyways when I was about fourteen my mom got real sick. I don't know what it was and I guess I never will. We couldn't afford to go to the doctors. Mom insisted that it was just a cold but we both knew better. She passed away on April 17th, not to far from my own fifteenth birthday. At any rate, I knew that if I stayed at home I would be taken away and put in an orphanage. I don't have any relatives, not that I know of. I didn't want that to happen, so I left. I packed up a few things and went on my way. I lived on the streets for a while. I guess thats when I noticed my powers. I used to pet any animal I saw while walking through the woods. I'd ask them things and they'd respond. I should have found it weird, but I didn't. It felt natural. What I thought was weird was when I accidently healed an injured rabbit. That's when I met that lady. She was a lot like me. She had been out gathering food or something and she saw me heal the rabbit. She didn't panic or anything but rather invited me to her home. She lived in the woods which I thought was strange. I figured it was because she liked the secluded area more, but later I found out she was more like me than I thought. She had powers like me, though they were different. I can't remember what she could do, but it was big I think. Anyways she told me about this academy. A school where I could be safe. She led me there, or rather here, and i've been here ever since. I do call that lady every once in a while though, her name was Maria. ]

[ I can talk to animals. They like me for some odd reason. Oh, and I do have some healing abilities. Only on others though, it doesn't work on myself. ]

[ What a creep. Well people call me talkative. I bet you already know that though. What a stalker. Anyways I can talk to anyone for hours. Normally I'm just going on and on and doing all the talking. Thats okay by me though. But wait, don't jump to conclusions here. I may be talkative but I am not a blabber-mouth. I tell no secrets, not even my own. Though I talk for hours, I never talk about myself. I'd rather keep that private thank you very much. Even if I'm upset I'm not likely to tell you why. If you want information out of me you're going to have to work for it. I'm hard-headed and stubborn. If I don't want to do something, I won't. If I do, I will. That's just the way things work. I like to get my way and there's not much that can keep me from getting what I want. Well that's about it. Oh, and if you haven't figured it out yet, I have a short temper. So when, I'm mad, run. You better wrap this up soon. I don't have the patience. ]

[ Okay now this is getting weird. I don't want to tell you this, but if it will get you to go away I guess I will. Don't repeat any of this, or else. Well I more or less grew up in a mental hospital. More of an insane asylum actually. Before you go all open-mouthed and wide-eyed on me, no, I wasn't living there because of me. I'm not crazy relax. Actually my parents were the owners of the private asylum. They also happened to be the head doctors at the place too. Go figure. They were never home so they ended up just taking me to work with them and eventually we just shifted into living there I guess. But what was a little kid supposed to do in an asylum? Well I talked to the insane people of course. They are really interesting you know. I could never guess what they were going to say. It was fun talking with them. I was a little kid with a big imagination and they were...well insane. They really know how to entertain a kid.
Anyways, I taught myself to read and write there. I guess I'm pretty smart or something. My parents were supposed to home school me but I practically did it myself. By the time I was twelve, I was getting sick of that place with the white walls and the bland tiles. Thats when I started to wander around in the woods behind the hospital all the time, even in the dark. My parents never knew where I was and they didn't really care since they were so busy. Anyways, out in the woods is where I discovered my, um, abilities. I had fun out there by myself, setting things aflame. I never did anything to destroy the forest of course, but I did love to practice out there.
A while after I found out about my...powers, I made the horrible decision to tell my parents. Of course, they thought I was insane. I didn't even get the chance to show them what I could do before I was taken away. They couldn't do what I could, they didn't understand. They labeled me as insane and they both weren't worried, but actually excited. I was their daughter and they could study me any way they pleased. I was locked away for a while. I tried to tell them, but they wouldn't listen. Too bad. I snapped I guess and I set the whole place on fire. Fire doesn't burn me, so I simply walked out and retreated away from the crumbling building into the woods. I don't know if my parents lived, I never contacted them again.
For a while I traveled in the woods. It was winter though I could keep myself warm with my abilities. I don't know how I found this academy. Maybe it was a flyer or ad or something, I'm not sure but it caught my eye. I made my way here and enrolled. So thats my story, can you stop creeping on me now?
