I think the Silence are scarier because if they were real and all around us we'd never know because we'd forget

Annabeth Rowanna Cullen I think the Silence are scarier because if they were real and all around us we'd never know because we'd forget True, but the weeping angels can be real as well and we wouldn't know because every time we look at statues, we think they are just statues and not deadly assassins from space.
My best friend and I use to live in this completely deserted town and, last year as we were visiting old friends, we drove down a familiar road and we noticed a statue of a weeping angel in the front yard of someone's house. The next day we took some more friends to take a closer look at the angel. When we went there, the angel was gone.
Now, maybe I'm just too addicted to Doctor Who, or maybe I'm not as crazy as everyone thinks I am when I tell them that the Doctor is definitely real, but that was really, REALLY creepy.

@skylitdesire that's creepy.I've seen some statues that I could have sworn moved maybe there are such thing as weeping angels.Silence are creepy but not like weeping angels I mean at least they don't want to kill everyone for energy instead they just want to manipulate us.

19a2aimee @skylitdesire that's creepy.I've seen some statues that I could have sworn moved maybe there are such thing as weeping angels.Silence are creepy but not like weeping angels I mean at least they don't want to kill everyone for energy instead they just want to manipulate us. exactly! AND, at least when the Silence killed that one chick in the bathroom, it was a quick human combustion type of process. If you remember in the Time of Angels episode, they were breaking people's necks and stealing their voices and stuff. I was frightened when I watched Blink, but after Time of Angels, I don't dare look away from a Weeping Angel; statue, picture, whatever.

Silence was freaky, but I saw blink when i was eleven and i didn't sleep for a week.
No, srsly, i finally collapsed in exhaustion a week later in the middle of babbling incoherently at my dad about how I couldn't fall asleep or the angel statue on the church near my house would get me.

The Silence terrified me because it seems to be based of Slender Man, who has been terrifying me for like, a year or so. I got into the Marble Hornets vlog on Youtube, and then the Silence episode of Doctor Who. They look almost exactly like Slender Man and Victor, the guy who made Slender Man, told us that Slender Man would be making an appearance in a TV show, and lo and behold, SLENDY WITH THE DOCTOR.
I was terrified.
The Angels were scary, but not as scary to me. Mostly because in my area, we don't have like, any statues. At all.

Marie Rouge Silence was freaky, but I saw blink when i was eleven and i didn't sleep for a week. No, srsly, i finally collapsed in exhaustion a week later in the middle of babbling incoherently at my dad about how I couldn't fall asleep or the angel statue on the church near my house would get me. oh my god right! Silence are like so evil! But River Song with the eyepatch is eviler.......I like her when shes sweet

I would really hate it if there was an episode where they combine both the silence and the weeping angels. But I would say the angels are scarier due to their intention on killing everything. While the silence is just Big Brother from 1984. Plus I was debating about what to do for Halloween and what to dress as. So I think I am going to go as a Weeping Angel since the costume might be cheaper than the silence. I am a girl with boobs, so no I don't own a suit, and I don't feel like trying to flatten myself for the silence.

Well that is kinda creepy too, but at least their not killing you. The Silence hardly want to kill, they just like to manipulate people. They kill only when necessary. Angels will kill regardless because they need your energy. But you have a good point and now I'm going to freak out every time I forget something. But I think after watching those episodes with the Silence, every time I see one, I'd mark myself so I could remember. Also, it kinda contradicting because we all know how the silence look, meaning we haven't forgotten them... which is a little disappointing...

plus they remind me of some 90's baddies that scarred me for a very long time, so they just altogether scare me
