Eros + Isis + Iris "Skittles"Eros smiled as he eagerly watched the flame colored egg bounce around slowly, it looked like the Pokemon was ready to hatch any moment now. The Misdreavus watched the egg with such focused intent that the Smoochum reading a novel behind him shook her head.
Isis could never get what was so special about an egg hatching, it's not like some big event could happen. The Smoochum paused for a moment at that thought, well now that she said it, an event was probably going to happen.
Eros, not wanting to wait anymore, picked up the egg with his ghostly abilities watching as it bounced around in his grasp.
Isis noticed this and quickly set her book down to try to take it away from the Misdreavus just in case he let it fall or something.
Eros smiled, his grip on the egg was pretty tight and it's not like he was new at this or anything. He then raised his eyes to look out the window and gasped, "Oh my Arceus! Isis! Look! It's a double rainbow!" He squeaked forgetting his hold on the egg was due to concentration. Which there was none of at the moment.
Isis nearly freaked out, nearly, as the egg fell from Eros' grip and hit the floor with a crack.
Said egg was now in pieces on the floor, a rainbow colored Ponyta laying in the middle of it all with a dazed look in it's multicolored eyes.
Isis glared at Eros and smacked him upside the head using her ice punch, "You....ugh! You probably gave it a concussion or something!"
The Ponyta shook it's head and stared at the two in front of it, "Mama? Papa? ...Hi!" The Ponyta said with an excited giggle afterwards, "Don't worry! I'm fine~ I don't feel any pain...So, there is nothing to worry about!" It said in a voice that sounded like the mix of a male and a female, it was masculine but with a very soft feminine tone.
Isis stared at the Ponyta, she was amazed that it didn't seem to have any real mental flaws at all, well...She guessed not all Ponyta had rainbow manes but at least the child wasn't trying to ram it's head into the walls, "So what do we name...him, her...whatever?"
Eros thought for a moment, "My name is Eros, yours is Isis...to keep the theme going why not call it Iris? The rainbow mane fits so..."
Isis shrugged, "Why not." She then remembered something, "But what if others mix up Iris' name and mine?"
Eros blinked, "Then we call Iris by another name. Her nickname could be Skittles~" He said as his Smoochum vice-captain gave him an odd look that clearly said 'wtf'.
Iris just giggled at it's two new parents.
Isis stared at the Ponyta before grinning, this would piss Eros off. She then walked over to a locked chest in the middle of the room and quickly unlocked it, grabbed something from it and walked back to the Ponyta, "Here." The Smoochum then gave the Ponyta a cyan colored ball of candy.
The Ponyta quickly chewed it before it's eyes widened and it started to hover off the ground.
Eros blinked, "...Hey! I wanted that fly tm!" He whined before Isis shot him a look that quieted him down, "Pfft. Fine. Welcome to the team Skittles!"
Isis just face palmed.
