So I've been thinking a lot lately about coming out, to like everyone. My close friends know and some random people. I haven't told anyone in my family (my mom or my sister) and idk it's just starting to bother me for some reason...
Any advice?

I've felt the same way for while now. You don't even have to make a big thing of it, say someone asks you if you have a crush (or something along those lines) you can just say "Nah, none of these girls appeal to me." The only reason i decided not to do it yet is because I'm waiting till I get to my new school. Theres a total b***h (if you don't mind me using that word) at my school who would make my life a living hell if I came out now.

Cowardly manner: Get a friend to tell your parents Funny manner: "Mom, Dad, there's something I need to tell you something. I saw the doctor a while ago, and aparently... Ive got [insert disease here], and only 3 weeks to live..." [Parents response of really?] "Nope, just kidding, but Im [insert sexuality]" I personally really like the funny one. Seems legit.

yeah the only problem with that is my school is really REALLY small.... so people either make it a huge deal or don't believe you stare we don't have an LGBT group nor are there enough supporters in my school to even think about starting one

Come out to someone you think will be supportive first, let them know you're planning on coming out to everyone. It really helps to have someone you trust being there to support and encourage you, coming out can be really scary to do alone.
When you do come out, act confidently even if you don't feel it. Say, "I'm gay" rather than "I think I might be gay", or if you have a partner say "I have a girl/boyfriend". It helps avoid the "it's just a phase/are you sure" thing, or can do at least.
If someone's negative about it, give them space. Try to stay calm and not cause a scene, coming out is a positive thing and you don't really want to sour that for you or anyone else by getting mad. Some people are a lost cause, but a lot of people will get over the initial "shock" of it, and then you can approach them again.
Expect questions! So many people don't understand that being gay doesn't change who a person is, so try to be patient.
Most of all, good luck :)

Well in all honesty when it comes to friends it'll give you a chance to see who will really stand by you. With family its a little more touchy cause you have to live with them (If you still do). be honest and speak from your heart. That's the best you can hope for.

xXbelovedXxx well i just told my sister... shes said I don't care and changed the subject. sometimes we convince ourselves its going to be more horrible then it really is I thought coming out was going to be some world changing event, and nothing would be the same afterwards. but really the only thing that changed was me. the relief of not feeling the need to lie any more. though I was pretty lucky, I knew my parents would be accepting before hand. they had told me and my brother years ago that they wouldnt care if one of their kids turned out to be gay. I know not everyone is so fortunate. and for that I am thankful
