It was a beautiful sunny day and Ainsley was outside for a stroll in the park nearby her home. She had a beautiful yellow sundress on with a thin white cotton layer under it with a straw hat on the top of her head, protecting her from most of the sun's dangerous rays. She didn't have any shoes on her feet, tossed aside under a tree the moment she'd gotten to the park, and her arms were filled with her dear companion Octavian Oswald and a thick book. It was a beautiful day out and Ainsley was determined to make the most of it.

It didn't take long before the child settled in down under a tree, looking up at the sky as the sun tried to push its way through the leaves that covered the tree. She smiled softly, patting her dress down over her lap as she set the white bunny plush over her lap with the book in front of the two of them, opened to the middle of the book where her bookmark was. It was just getting to a good part, and it didn't take long for the child to become absorbed in the story under the warm sun.

With the rise of another beautiful day, Castille began to feel the itch that plagued her all day, every day. Today it was stronger than usual, with the sun being out and the cloudless sky a marvelous shade of blue. After a hasty breakfast, and an even quicker shower, Castille was practically bouncing down the sidewalk. Her prized possession, a Canon EOS 40D swung lazily from her neck, and the matching accessory bag bounced jovially on her hip while she hummed along to her IPod.

A few minutes later she crossed the street to the park, removing the earbuds from her ears and stowing the IPod in the camera case with a quick zip of the zipper. She turned on the camera, taking a moment to adjust a couple settings before fishing a card out of the front pocket of the bag. It was a couple inches each way, and a flat shade of gray. She gazed around, found a middle sun spot and held the card out at arms length, focusing on the card. She took a picture, and stared at the tiny screen on top of the camera, memorizing the shutter speed, aperture and ISO.

She put the card away and gazed through the viewfinder, focusing on random things. She took a couple quick shots of a dog chasing a frisbee, then looked up from the viewfinder to watch him run before diving back behind the camera.

What to take pictures of today?

Ainsley was deep into thought when a dog with a frisbee ran by her, only stopping momentarily to watch the dog run by back to its master with it. It was a cute dog, and when it ran by again it made a detour to investigate the little girl who was sitting under the tree it kept running by. It bounced around on its four legs, barking at her with its tail wagging and tongue hanging out in pant.

Ainsley put her book down on the grass beside her to lean forward to play with the dog, leaning forward to pet it on the top of its head before the dog barked again, jumping back and doing a circle around the tree when it heard its master call. The dog was prompt, running to grab the frisbee off the ground to return it to its master on the field.

"Bye-bye doggy!" She called when it ran off, rolling over on the grass to stand up. She didn't put her shoes on, or pick up her book off the ground, leaving them under the tree for now. Her toes curled around the grass under her feet and she began to investigate the park. The dog was chasing the frisbee to her right and to her left was... a woman with a camera! She was intrigued, carefully skipping over toward her to pop up in front of the camera's view, tilting her body to bring her face into the lenses view.

Castille had been focusing on someone towards the other end of the park, using the zoom on the lens to decide if the person "in question was one of her friends. She heard a noise and looked down, then back up.

There was a blurry face in her camera.

She let out a cry of surprise, head whipping back from the viewfinder like it was a snake about to strike. In the same motion she lifted the camera, finding not a large blurry youma, but a smallish girl with long hair looking up at her. She took a deep breath to calm her racing heart, and then smiled, saying

"Goodness, you scared the heck outta me! I thought a monster was coming to attack!" She laughed, to let the girl know she was joking, and not calling her a monster in any sense of the word. In fact, this little girl was adorable!

"Ah," she let out.

"I'm sorry!" She said when she heard the older girl let out a cry of surprise, rocking back on her heels and then once again forward to her toes as her hands fell behind her back. She did this a few times as she waited for the girl to calm down, leaning forward a bit as she seen a smile come to her face. She was relieved to see that she was okay and that she hadn't scared her too badly.

The mention of monsters brought a tiny giggle to Ainsley, quick to reply back.

"Don't worry! If a monster comes I'll protect you!"
PostPosted: Sun Aug 14, 2011 10:06 pm

She placed the camera gently against her chest, letting it slowly dangle from her neck. "You would protect me from a monster?" She asked, putting her pointer finger to her chin and looking upward. "But why? I mean, you don't know me at all. For all you know, I could be an ally of the Monster Alliance." She looked back down at the little girl with a smile. "Or what if, in saving me, the monster got you? Then I'd have to save , and then we're just going in circles."

She flopped down onto the ground, taking the camera off her neck and setting it in between her legs. She rubbed the back of her neck, twisting it this way and that. Digital SLRs were nice, but heavy!

"So, to whom am I talking to?" She asked, gazing up at the girl with amused blue eyes.

The child looked at Castille when she spoke, her head tilted upward to keep eye contact. How could she even ask why she would save her from a monster? It was so simple! It didn't matter that the child didn't know her, or even if she was an ally of the Monster Alliance! On that thought, Ainsley wasn't too surprised to find out there was an alliance of monsters after all the youma she'd seen as Sailor Chibi Hypnos.

"Everyone deserves to be safe, even monster allies," she said very seriously.

Of course, with the idea of a perpetual circle of saving happening, the child couldn't remain very straight faced and she began to laugh pleasantly. It wasn't uncontrollable and shortly after she regained her composure and gave the girl with the camera a cursty. "My name is Ainsley," she said before bringing up her white bunny plushie. "This is Prince Octavian Oswald. It's a pleasure to meet you. May I request your name?"

Castille nodded sagely at her response, mimicking one of those kung fu senseis she'd seen n movies. "A good answer." She said, crossing her arms. "Well to help ease your concern, I am in no part affiliated with the Monster Alliance. I actually like to think of myself more of a Monster Hunter." Which wasn't entirely a lie since she did moonlight as a senshi fighting youma. But this little girl didn't know that, or need to.

She blinked a couple times when the well behaved girl curtsied at her. She grabbed the ends of her shirt and attempted a curtsy from sitting down, saying "My name is Castille." When the bunny was placed before her she bowed from the waist "A Prince!? Of the entire rabbit kingdom? How did you come by him?"

Ainsley stood straight, looking at Castille curiously.

"If only you were," she said. "You could convince the monsters I don't want to hurt them."

Sailor Chibi Hypnos had always tried to fight for them, but they still didn't understand. What she needed was someone who could talk to them and tell them that she didn't want to hurt them, that she just wanted everyone to live together peacefully. It was rather disappointing that Castille wasn't really affiliated with them, and even sadder that she wanted to hunt them. The child frowned, but only for a moment. It was slowly washed away when the woman asked her about her prince, her arms hugging around the white bunny as she did.

"Of the entire rabbit kingdom!" she exclaimed, thinking about the day she'd gotten him. "He found me one day while I was locked away in my tower."

Did she look..disappointed? Castille watched a frown cross her cute little face, and what sounded like sadness, or closer to that end of the spectrum eke into her voice when she talked about monsters. Most children would be happy to beat up a monster, yet this..Ainsley was quite the opposite.

"A tower you say?" She said, folding her body downward to gaze at the stuffed rabbit's bead eyes. She decided not too take this too literal as well, since being locked in a tower was never a good thing. Another's childs game.

"Well lucky you!" She said, then she paused. Her camera lifted from its home between her crossed legs, and she said "Prince, be a dear and hold still." click click. "The light here makes your fur look wonderfully soft!" She exclaimed, as if the creature could really hear her. She took a couple more snapshots, and then switched it to "View" mode, so the pictures could be seen.

She held the back end of the camera up, her decided favorite of the pictures she just took on the viewscreen, and showed Ainsley.

"He looks quite princely." she remarked, gazing at the girl.

Ainsley smiled at Castille when she spoke to her bunny prince as if he were a person. It made her happy when people treated him with the respect her deserved. Octavian Oswald honoured her request and stayed as still as an inanimate object could possibly stay while being held in a child's arms with a bit of help from Ainsley before being pulled into Ainsley's arms when Castille had finished taking all the pictures she wanted.

"Of course, he's a prince after all," she said with a grin, leaning in to take a look at the picture Castille decided to show her. She got pretty close to the camera so she could get the best look possible. It was a very nice shot but Ainsley would have liked any picture of her bunny prince! This picture in particular looked as if Octavian Oswald had been fluffed up, his fur looking flawless in the light.

"It's nice. Do you take pictures often?" She inquired.

Castille nodded enthusiastically, lowering the camera. "Yes. Photography is my main hobby, aside from volleyball. I want to be a photojournalist when I grow up." she used the childish phrase only partially with her audience in mind. Even though she was going to be sixteen in March, Castille felt that she hadn't grown up yet, and really didn't want to. In fact, she wanted to stay a kid as long as possible.

She now gazed at the girl and really realized how cute this little girl was. The yellow dress she or her mother had picked out was a lovely shade of yellow. In fact...

"Hey, how would you and Prince Octavian like to be models for a photo shoot I've just come up with?" She rose to her feet, putting the camera around her neck. "If of course your mother wouldn't mind."

Not much had gone through Ainsley mind when Castille asked her if she and Prince Octavian Oswald would like to pose as models for a photo shoot the girl had in mind. Not much except for the idea that she could be just like her mother by posing for photos just like her. Her mother certainly wouldn't mind, right? Her mother loves cameras, always willing to pose in front of one. Ainsley imagined her mother would be really happy to see her follow in her own footsteps!

"Oh, can I really? I would love to!" She smiled softly. "My mother loves photo shoots," she added in.

"Oh she does! Well wonderful!" She said, clapping her hands together. Her mind went into photographer mode, and she turned on the spot, surveying her surroundings.

She found a tree that seemed to have a few less leaves than the others, making for more sunlight spots on the ground. She motioned for Ainsley to follow her , and when they came to the tree, she pointed to a spot near the trunk, saying "Ok! How about for your first picture, you lean against the tree riiiiiight over here. And hold Prince Octavian Oswald just under your chin. And then smile pretty!" Castille took her spot a couple feet away, pointing the camera toward where Ainsley would stand. She looked through the viewfinder, made a couple adjustments with the dials on the top of the camera, and looked through again.

This was going to be a great shot. She would have to make sure to give her information tot eh girl so her mother could get the pictures when she was done.

Hurray! That was definitely the words her facial expression was displaying when Castille decided she would photograph Ainsley and then even went to seek out a tree before motioning for Ainsley to follow her. Without a second though, the child skipped along the grass until she made her way over to the tree and Castille. She looked over it carefully, studying the directions that Castille.

She took a moment to look at where she was directed to lean before she press her back against it and held her white bunny plushie Prince Octavian Oswald up to her chin, giving a small smile.

"How's this?"
