I'm pissed.
I finally had a nice idea to make myself feel more useful. To do something next to my study. And I let my eyes fall on playing the cello. It didn't seemed to expensive of what I had seen on the internet. And I got pretty excited about it.
I told my boyfriend, who was unsure about it. He knows me, I stop midway. I know that. But he said it would be a waste of time if I quit halfway. My parents agreed with it, and they even continued to ruin my plan. Telling me I should save that money up for a driving license, and better things like my college. (I know, they are right). But I am dying to do something next to my study. Like playing music, something with music or dancing. (which is also so ******** expensive).
But, noooooooo. Everything is too ******** expensive, people keep crushing my dreams. And nothing is ever good enough. I'm tired of feeling so useless. And my mother kept nagging about it "You have to practice everyday, bla bla ******** bla". A.K.A, she doesn't believes I can do it.
I finally found something that seemed like a descent idea. But no. There will always be people to crush my plans. Or money that has always been a fricking issue. even though i have a job, and I work my a** off at school or internship.
And I know there are more important things, don't get me started. I'm just so pissed about it I never can do things I like to do. Follow my dreams? What is that? talk2hand

You can easily find cello tutorials online, so if the cello itself is not expensive, I say go for it. (:

I'm afraid I need personal attention. I never played a string instrument like a guitar or cello or violin before.
The Cello is expensive. Renting isn't.

Well, that depends. If you really wanna stick with it, buy it. But if you think you're gonna abandon it, rent. Try renting for a month or so and get the feel of it. If by then you still really wanna do it, save up and go buy one.

Since I got the idea my parents aren't encouraging me at all. I'll probably end up waiting till I got my driving license. And hope that will make them shut the ******** up.

I know this is so cliche, but you shouldn't let what your parents or boyfriend say stop you from doing something you want to try.
Like other people have said, try renting the cello and getting a feel for it. If it seems like something you'll want to pursue, then I say go for it. :3

I'm still thinking about it and did some research. In my town taking cello les is pretty expensive. Even wuth student discount. I don't know If I'm able to pay for that on my own. And since no one is really behind my plan I know they won't help me paying it. "cause school and your driving lisence is more important". Dont get me wrong, I know that. But money is always the issue. And im pretty much done with thar problem.
