 Zaribe spent many days on his own lately thinking things through etc. The Kalona attack had seriously made him doubt his way of thinking making the parrot stallion more and more unsure of himself. So he traveled for days on end seeking more gifts to make his mate happy. He hated being away from his Sunny Rainbow but the stallion had to find reason to be sure of his capabilities.
Beautiful tropical paradises swept past his wings as he traveled far and wide. Sandy shores were his favorite sleeping spot along with the tall palms to the South. Getting away from the chaos and madness brought his senses around. That was when he decided to go home and visit his family.
Landing with a full outspread display of his wings he sought out his cherished mate. Making the sound resembled of a parrot he strutted around seeking her whereabouts.
"Sunny Rainbow....... Are you here?" his ears flicked this way and that seeking to hear her soft voice among the summer breeze.

Tic Tac Toe have been wandering around near the lands that Zaribe and she have claimed as their home. Zaribe's disappearance is noticed and the mare misses her mate terribly so she stayed near the lands, hoping that he will come back. Bird scampered off to hunt down stuff to decorate the old nest and perhaps make new one because he saw his friend become more fatter and fatter over days. Over those days where Zaribe is gone, Tic Tac Toe is determined to stay busy so she won't look up at the skies and hope he will be back soon.
Her belly grew more swollen and the mare smiles while the tears of joy rolls down her cheeks when she realized that Zaribe and her will become proud parents once again. One day, she looks up at the skies and mentally calls out for Zaribe while whispering about him being a father. Its almost like the gods have answered her call because there is a sound resembling a parrot suddenly appearing behind her in the near distance.
"Zaribe?" Tic Tac Toe turns around as she almost broke down crying because he's back. "Zaribe!" She calls out as she trots toward him, laughing with joy. "My love! You are back." She dances around him happily while she nuzzles him. "Any more gifts for me?" She teases him as she looks up at him, knowing that everything changed for him but nothing will change for this pair except love and devotion growing stronger with every passing day.

The proud stallion called once more out as his wings extended in his display of silliness. Strutting around he squawked once again looking everywhere. His admiration set back in full swing as his Sunny Rainbow announced her cheery presence behind him. Whirling around he immediately greeted her with his squawk-like sound followed by a deep grunt.
Grinning wildly he nuzzled her then began to dance in a silly ritual extending his wings as if he were dancing just for her. He grunted and squaked dipping his head in a humorous bob as he lifted his forelegs in a choreographed play. As he was circling his mate he found himself amused and excited. Leaning inward he nuzzled her belly remembering the last time she had grown so round. He grinned even more then looked at her ,"In my travels through the islands I couldn't find a flower as pretty as you...." he chuckled as his head nuzzled into his wings pulling out a flower with a string attached as it contained a feather much like his own only not as vibrant, "But this flower..." he placed it behind her ear as the string entwined in her hair let the feather hang swirling in the breeze, "Helped me remember that no matter how bad things get there's always my Sunny Rainbow waiting for me to return."
He grinned at her sometimes nipping at the feather and even breathing on it for fun. Things had come to pass he couldn't control and yet in the darkness that had set in his heart never really did falter even through the bad. His place was here with Sunny Rainbow and his children he hadn't seen in forever. Word had never passed his ears he was even a grandfather which he would learn in time.

Tic Tac Toe laughs as she watches Zaribe flaring his wings out in a display of silliness and being greeted with a loud squawk and deep grunt. "Silly parrot." She cooes at her mate while she nuzzles him lightly when he nuzzled her. She smiles as she watches him began to dance that silly ritual she will never get tired of while she wiggles around, trying to prance in dance that matches Zaribe's dance. She didn't follow Zaribe in circle when he circle around her and closes in to her swollen stomach.
Tic smiles softly as he nuzzled her stomach and she watches him with her eyes sparkling with laughter and love she have for him. "Zaribe.." She giggles as she shakes her head, about to tell him that he didn't have to get her anything but words died on her tongue when she sees a flower with a string attached to it containing a feather that looks similar to his. "Oh Zaribe..I will always be here waiting for you to return no matter what." She grins at him crookedly as she nuzzles him once again. "We should make me wings so I could fly with you too!" She says with a laugh. At this rate, she will be adorned in every gift imaginable by her loving yet silly mate and she will wear each one of them with pride.
She squirms and laughed when a feather tickled against her body when he nipped or breathed on it. "Zaribe... I love you." She smiles up at him with joy glinting in her eyes but she knows that there is darkness in his heart and hers as well but she is determined to overcome that. "Did you hear about Cocomos?" She giggles as she dances around her mate happily, eager to tell him news about them being grandparents to 3 bustling beautiful adults!

The stallion continued to adorn his mate with praise as he nuzzled her swollen belly. Occasionally, movement was acknowledged as he paid close attention to his growing bloodline deep within her. Now the scarlet stallion knew what drove him back after all those months; A new chance and look at life. He silently scolded himself for partaking in his "self finding" as long as he did.
Her news of his son perked his ears bringing him to full attention, "Cocomo? Haven't seen him in ages. What's he been up to?" Pausing the stallion extended his wings and fidgeted with an out of place feather. He yanked it out cleanly then dropped it to the ground. If there was one thing that irritated the parrot stallion most it was mangled feathers. He prided his plumage to look his very best at all times. It wasn't everyday a parrot was born with such vibrant colors of course.
He pondered her other words then with a cheeky grin, "Make you some wings?" he pawed the ground, "I saw leaves as big as mine out in the islands where I got your flower. If you want some wings I could bring them back and help you fly." His head bobbed proudly at his good thinking. If his Sunny Rainbow could learn to fly then she could go see all the tropical wonders of the word.
