Last night, around 1am I shut off my TV and turned over on my bed to face my wall like I always do. As soon as I turned over, the buzzer in our kitchen went off.
My house was made in the 1950's and there is a timer on the stove that you would set how long you need something to cook and the buzzer would let you know when the time was up.
I thought I was hearing things so I just listened to it for about a minute. I got out of bed and walked into my kitchen to turn it off. When I came around the corner in the hallway to enter the kitchen, I saw this white glare race towards me and then through me. I turned off the timer and went directly back into my room and pretend like nothing had happened.
I was woken up thismorning by my dog barking. I went to go see what it was and my dog was barking at our stove. When I walked into the kitchen, my dog looked at me and ran into the living room.

Has anyone had any experience close to this?

you said your house was built in the 1950's right? well you should get you wiring checked, Animals will react when they sence danger and will try to let you know if they do. Example I had this cat named Blackie he passed away about a year ago, and well when he was alive, one morrning I awoke to him meowing at my door to my bed room I just figured the bathroom door was shut and he needed to go to the bathroom, so I got up and headed toward the bathroom but the door was open so I looked down at Blackie and said "what do you want?" and he ran to the top of the stairs and started meowing even lowder so I followed him down in ot the kitchen and he stop right in the middle of the kitchen and started Meowing like mad he just wouldn't shut up and I stood in the door way and looked at him funny and said "What! your food dish is full" so he runs over to the plug in on the wall oposite from the counters. I have one of thos carbon detectors pluged in to it. And well again he started to meow like Mad and he would not stop so I go up to check the carbon detector and it had some how stoped working, like it totaly died all the serkets in side it were fried. So I took the new one out from the coubort and as soon as I pluged it in it started going off, and it turns out that my furness had a leak of some sort and was produsing Carbon gasses eek and if it were not for Blackie I could have died.......So ya moral of the story, Get your Oven Checked!
