 A grey, almost white haired figure opened the room's door and peeked inside. Dressed in a blue and violet uniform, the girl rushed her bag inside the room and closed the door quite loudly.
Her bright yellow eyes scanned the place. It wasn't big, two beds and a couch. Her cat ears perked up with curiosity as she opened the closets.
Nope. Nothing.
She pouted and looked to the small green flame-like spirit which she kept as a pet. "I guess we are by ourselves Tasus..."
The green spirit didn't reply. She shrugged and started unpacking her things. Living in a orphanage and living in the streets meant she didnt have much to bring with anyways.

I thought by now you'd realize
There ain't no way to hide you lyin' eyes Dio scoffed as he looked at the paper he held in his hand. Fire-red? What kind of dorm name is that? he thought to himself as he walked through the halls of the dorm building. Well, I suppose it's not the worst one. I've heard some of the ones in the other houses have stranger names then 'Fire-red.' To be honest, he was actually happy to have been assigned a dorm. It meant that he didn't have to waste any more of his money in order to rent a room at the local inn if he wanted to sleep on a bed.
Reaching the door, he did the sensible thing and tried the door before even bothering to get out his key. It was unlocked. So one of my 'room-mates' is already here hun? he thought to himself as he turned the door knob and pushed open the door and striding into the room.
Seeing some girl with cat ears already in the room, he raised an eyebrow and looked down at the sheet in his hand. Wonder which one she is. Len, or Yuki, who seems to have two names. He didn't care much, as he wasn't about to introduce himself, and she seemed to be the only one in the room. That was good, that meant he didn't have to kick anyone out of a bed, because there was no way he was sleeping on a couch.
Walking over to the empty bed, he dropped his bag on it and flopped down onto the bed, closing his eyes. The bag wasn't very big, just a small rucksack, after all, he was used to living on the run, so he couldn't carry very much around with him, and besides, what was the point of having your own personal dimension if you didn't store your stuff in it?

Ren yelped in surprise as the door opened. A boy. A hot one even. She rose her ears suspiciously. What kind of academy would mix boys and girls in the same room?
Murmuring something that sounded like "******** pervs", she sat on the other bed and studied the boy in silence.
She watched, staring, burring holes in his back.
Creepy enough? Not quite.
She finally stood up. "Oi! My name is Ren. Ren Lestrade. Yours?"

There ain't no way to hide you lyin' eyes Dio had been lying with his eyes closed when he heard the girl introduce herself. He had been pretty much successful in ignoring her until that point, but now the whole idea of 'civility' and 'manners' meant that he couldn't exactly not respond. Ah well, at least he knew who she was now, and nothing said he had to give her a straight answer. He hadn't given anyone a straight answer as to his name in a long time. "Abraham Lincoln" he told her sarcastically as he turned to eye her with a cool gaze, "What's it to ya?"
He was seriously hoping that he wouldn't be expected to be all buddy-buddy with his room-mates, because that was not happening anytime soon. He was kind of surprised that the dorms were co-ed actually, but it didn't matter much to him. He didn't need two people trying to be his friends because 'everyone needed a friend.' He had gone several years without a friend, and he didn't see the need for one now, so as soon as everyone got the point, the better.

Ren grinned to the answer. "Abraham Lincoln? You sure look younger...and alive."
The girl walked to her new dorm mate and poked him in the chest. "I'll tolerate a guy in the dorm but take one peek... One peek to my boobs while I'm changing and you're it." She glared, her yellow orbs shining.
Then she sat on the bed casually. "What's your power?"

At least she hadn't insisted on knowing his real name. Of course, she would figure it out when their other room mate showed up, the loser who was stuck with the couch.
He shrugged at what she said, brushing off the fact that she had poked him in the chest. "Whatever. If you're that worried about it, get. Changed. In. The. Bathroom." he told her, rolling his eyes and speaking slowly as though she were an idiot, "Like I would actually care to do something like that." he finished, lying back on the bed.
At her question, he shrugged. "Didn't I just tell you, I discovered the fountain of youth!." he told her in a snide tone, "Anything other than that is none of your d*mn business." Ren was far to curious for Dio's liking. He had developed a tendency to stray away from people who asked too many questions about him. It was simply habit. Back in the days when the organization he had fled was still running, anyone could have been an agent sent to take him out or drag him back, and overly curious people even more so.
Glancing at his watch, he gasped and shot up. "Well, looks like I've got work." he said, before adding in an undertone, "Sometimes I wonder if this job is worth it..." Honestly, he had been expecting more time to relax between shifts. Walking over to the door, he left, not realizing that his key had fallen out of his pocket and was now lying on his bed.

Ren rolled her eyes. What a strange person to deal with! He pissed her off...
ignoring the smart-a** comments she looked over the couch and Almost had pity of the other person who was going to stay there.
Suddenly, a familiar voice rang inside her mind. "You should pay attention to the other's bed instead of the couch..."
Her golden eyes met the green spirit and smirked. Tasus couldn't speak out loud, but he could send mental messages.
The bed he said?
Chuckling, the girl stood up in a jump and grabbed the fallen key on the Abraham Lincoln wannabe's bed.
Hum...? Being a thief most of her life, Ren hid the key inside her uniform. Finders keepers. She could always use a spare...

Deciding to go look around the academy, Ren let out a loud yawn and stormed out of them room, Tasus floating next to her. He didn't talk much, but he was still a good company.

There ain't no way to hide you lyin' eyes Dio walked towards his dorm, finally reaching the door. Turning the doorknob, he noticed that the door was locked. So no one else was in there? Good. He reached into his pocket, looking for his key, but noticed that it wasn't there. He had dropped it had he? Ah well, it wasn't much of a problem for Dio; he didn't even know why he had been given a key in the first place. Standard procedure he supposed.
Placing his hand on the lock, he heard the deadbolt sliding into it's unlocked position. Removing his hand, he opened the door, which was now unlocked. Closing the door, he riffled through his bag for a bandage, finally finding one. Pulling out a mirror, he placed it over the tell-tale fang marks on his neck, which were still bleeding slightly. Hope I don't become a vampire like her... he sighed, not being able to deny the fact any longer.
Fighting between eating something, or simply sleeping, he eventually grabbed an apple and sat down on his bed to eat it. Once he had finished, he tossed the core in the garbage before lying back on the bed, falling asleep almost immediately, exhausted as he was.
