(Private rp between my Hipelagan and -MoomoolatteCha- 's Mint Chocolate.)
*Hipelagan hummed happily to herself as she trotted down a path. She had no idea where it led, but decided that an adventure was in order.*
Mint sighed as he laid upon the ground in the middle of the forest. He wasn't quite in the right state of mind these days,after his mate left him he was torn.Now Mint was halfly blood driven and was rather rude to anyone who came to try to help him.
*Hipel wasn't concerned until she realized the path had pettered out on her. She looked around her as her ears twitched. The forest sounds seemed normal.* Where is that darn path? *She hunted around, getting more and more lost. There had to be someone around to give her directions. She felt lucky when she spotted a soquili laying in the forest.* Hello! Hallo there!!
Mints ears perked up at the sound of some voice speaking.He stood up quickly as the mare called out to him.Pinning his ears back down he looked at her."Hello."He said rather softly.
*Hipelagan gave the stallion a cheerful grin* Hi there. Do you know a way out of here? I seem to have gotten myself lost. *She tried to ignore the laid back ears. Perhaps he'd woken up on the wrong side of his bed.*
"There is...But its quite hard to find unless you know your way around these parts."He said and stared at the winged mare.Mint flicked his tail and wandered out onto the trail that turned into just gass.
Well yeah, that's just it you see. I don't know my way around. Never been here before. *She chattered cheerfully as she followed him, unprompted.* Oh hey. I'm Hipelagan. What's your name? Do you live here? Or just visiting?
Boy did she ask so many questions.Sighing Mint stopped and looked back to the mare."Mint Chocolate,I travel."He then kept walking."What makes you want to come out here when there are those nasty monsters that could possibly tear you to shreads?"
*Hipelagan twitched her short tail and gave a soft giggle.* Your name sounds so tasty. *She bounded beside him as she observed the forest they were passing through.* Really? So do I! I donno Mint, the chance to see new stuff. Go to new places, meet others. Why do you travel? *She laughed and gave him a close playful look* Oooooh, you don't look the type! Besides I could fly off if I really had to. *She flutters her wings in point*
Mint rolled his eyes."You don't know me,I could possibly rip your head off." He said with a smirk and kept wandering on.They passed broken trees and messed up brush.It looked like something had been attacked near here before. "They could get you without you even realizing it."
*Hipel tilted her head as she considered his statement* I suppose so, but you don't seem mean to me. You're helping me get out right? *She rolled her eyes at the trees, and wondered why he was taking her by them. Silly stallion probably just wanted to appear cool. That was ok, everyone had their pride. However, when he mentioned getting her without her realizing it, she moved closer to Mint. The soft feathers of her wing, just brushing against his coat; she looked nervously over her shoulder*
Mint gumbled at the mare who came close to him."Who knows,why would you trust some strander you seen lying on the ground?"He said with a slight grin. Glancing over to the mare as he watched her expression.She was getting even more terrified."My ex mate was one of those helboars,with the huge fangs and spikes on his back.So i've seen somethings happen that quite changed my character."
*Hipel tossed her head* Cause you're the only one out here, and I'm lost. Tell me, would you leave a lady in distress? *She gave Mint a winning smile. Her ears give a slow twitch* A... helboar? I've never heard of one of those. That sounds bad. Do you need to talk about it? *She gazed at him compassionately.*
Mint shook his head at the females.Softly he said,"females.." He kept walking on with the mare close to his brown side."Well Ladies have hurt this poor heart before,I am not afraid to hurt one."Which what he said about afraid to hurt a lady was a lie,he could never hurt another."A helboar is a blood thristy beast that would easily kill you with those fangs and spikes.For some reason I got to the promising side of that poor fellow."Mint look to the mare."He just left,mares have hurt me by going to find another.This heart I don't think will be contained."
*Hipel heard the soft murmur but said nothing.* Oh I see. So you would hurt one that has done nothing to you. *She cocked her head and asked softly* Does that make you any better than them? *She walked for awhile silently, letting him digest that.* So how did you get involve with a helboar if they are so bad? *It genuinely interested her. Why would what appeared to a sweet stallion hook up with a horrible sounding beast like that? Hipel moved a bit closer to look into his eye* Why do you want to contain your heart?
"Because that beast had caught my heart. Even though he maybe such a odd looking thing on the outside and a hard shell protecting his heart.I got into that heart,it wasn't like you'd believe." He said honestly. "You do know I would never hurt a mare in my life,only if they had hurt me first.You shouldn't believe in every word one has said to you."
Ah, love is blind? *she gave a soft whicker to him* I'm sorry he hurt you. At least you have your memories of him right? And you had that time in his heart. *the mare bounced happily beside him at the romantic thought. Hipel gave him a wide grin and wiggled her ears* Yes I know some soquili lie, but I wanted to hear it from you. *cheerfully she pranced forward.*
"Love is not fond of me."He simply said and turned to a different way hoping the mare would follow."Yes but those memories are long away,If i shall hold them close to my heart,I will only be depressed as I was laying back there on the ground."All Mint was anymore was depressed,but it seemed this mares company sure cured it."Most lie,You can't trust one without digging to find the truth,one may never find the truth."
Is that what you really think? Maybe you haven't actually found love, and it is just waiting to be discovered. *She grinned happily. A good fairytale romance is clearly what he needed. Hipel stuck right with him as if it was her right. She was certainly enjoying his company.* Hmmmm yes I see what you mean. Then I would suggest making new memories to hold close to your heart. I'm glad i found you; certainly couldn't leave you laying there depressed. *She shook her head* I don't think they mean to lie. Perhaps the truth scares them so much they can't face their fears.
Was she really being this honest to his poor beatin heart?Would she actually leave him?"Maybe I haven't,but I don't know if i could try again,I don't think this heart could take anymore of the heart break."He said and looked down.Mint's ears perked up and he looked over at her."You mean that?"
*Hipel paused to delicately sniff a flower growing along side where they were walking. It smelled lovely. She turned and quickly caught back up.* You won't know until you try Mint. Would you really risk missing the chance of a lifetime just because you're unsure and afraid of getting hurt again? *she responded philisophically. He needed to get over this for forever risk being stick in it; she always tried to be happy and look on the brighter side. Hipel smiled,* Mean what? About truth and lies? Sure, why not?
Mint slowed as she stopped to smell a flower.For some reason a smile broke out across his face. "Well you are when your heart has been broken more then a couple times my dear."He said softly and started walking again. Shaking his head he looked to her."No no,I mean Your glad you found me."Mint said and kinda got nervous so he pinned back his ears and kinda moved his head away looking off into the distance.
*Hipel shook her head.* I guess you have more experience there than I do. It can't have been all bad, though. You learned and grew from it. *She laughed and bounded up beside him again.* Listen to me spouting off like that. *Clearly she was amused at herself. What an airheaded fool she sounded like to a stallion of his experiences.* Oh! That, of course I am. How could I leave anyone alone who clearly needed company? Plus I was alone and lost. *She nuzzled his neck gently in reassurance.*
Mint nodded slowly."No I understand what your saying, but sometimes it isn't that way."He said and kept walking. His eyes drifted off to many places even the mares eyes. She was gorgeous even though he had never seen her colors and marking type before."Well, thats wonderful to hear. I hope you stay."Mint blushed a little and looked away when she nuzzled him."I...um...yeah..."He couldn't speak.
Oh? What way was it then? *Her eyes twinkled friendily as she looked back at him. Hipel blinked with a smile* If I have reason to stay. *She wondered if he was offering what she thought he was. Her heart gave a little flutter in her chest. He was a sweet stallion and she couldn't help but feeling giddy. The mare gave a giggle as the stallion blushed.*
"Sometimes the less expierenced know more then the expierenced,They don't normally do but sometimes there are ones that do."He said and tried to hide the blush. "You have a reason to stay..."Mint kinda blushed more where you could see it through his already somewhat pink cheek. He didn't know what to say or do now.This was only suppose to be taking her to a safe route instead it turned into shy hearts and these strange feelings.
That sounds so poetic. *She fluttered her wings, pleased. Her head lifted and her eyes sparkled when he said she had a reason for staying.* Well then, it would certainly be rude for me to leave. *Politely, but with a cheeky smile, she said nothing on his blush. Hipel nudged up against him* So you said you travel. Where do you go? Is it often? *The dark mare was eager for her new friend, maybe something more than friend, to show her around.*
Mint smiled softly.He was starting to be happy,what was this feeling creeping upon him that he hadn't felt in months?"I go to the mountains,the rivers,I go all over.But once place I have yet to go to is the ocean."He said and kinda got nervous again.They were getting along so wonderful,he had this feelings again like he never wanted her to leave him.
All of those are great places. You'll have to show me them someday. *She grinned* I don't think I've ever been to the ocean. Onward to the ocean! *Hipel cheered and flared her wings in excitement. She paused to look at him.* I mean, that is if you wanna go now? *her head tilted questioningly.*
He looked at her,she was getting so excited."I..um...well I can show you around.."Mint said nervously."We can go towards the ocean,we will see what is there."He said and took a turn to wander off towards the ocean.Maybe this was better then what he had thought.This mare made his heart better,he didn't want to be that depressed Mint he was anylonger.
*Hipel whickered softly* We don't have to head anywhere specific Mint. Sometimes its just best to wander. *She laughed,* which is how I ended up getting lost in the first place, looking for adventure. *She scampered after him and wove randomly in and out of the trees.*
"I will take you there,I will take you any place you'd want to go."He nuzzled her softly getting over his fear slowly."Well I guess getting lost in this forest has paid off."Mint laughed slightly."How about we get going,I can't wait to see it."
