 Helios flew out onto the mountain, he was tired, he felt weak. The sun had not yet risen, the moon had bearly hid himself. His golden eyes were rather dull, but he had made the effort to get to the waterfall early, where he promised Metis he would be at this time. His wings tucked back, he felt slightly out of breath, but he needed to collect his gifts for Metis. He needed flowers, or just one. One that the God's would bless with beauty, such as she was. He had only met her only yesterday, but yet he wanted to impress her. He was not sure why, but he felt an urge to.
The God searched, though his steps were weak. The sun would be rising soon, and his agony would be over, but for now he must fight through. WIth anguish, he took another step, stepping towards a rather beautiful pink rose, awakining to the sun. His smile grew as the sun peaked out from behind the grounds, bringing him almost to life. His wings began to become power, and with a quick swipe of his wing, the vine was cut and the flower rested against the ground, with a smile he grabbed it, and then began to wait for Metis.

 Mètis had awoken early today due to the request of the Sun God Helios. He had been intent on meeting with her in the early morning and would not take no for a answer. She had been surprised that he had said that he would get her a flower because she deserved it. Did she deserve something so pure and beautiful? A small smile crept on her face as she walked back to the waterfall she had shown Helios yesterday, and where she would meet him again today. He was quite the wooer. Mètis wasn't quite sure yet if she was impressed with the Sun God enough to be wooed. However, she had a sinking suspision that she did. Something about him drew her in. I wish I knew what it was. She thought to herself. He was rather handsome. And intelligent to boot. But was that it? Or was it simply because he shared the same history as her? I don't know... but... She thought. "I want to know more about him."
With a few more steps Mètis stepped through the brush that blocked her view of the waterfall. Not more then two feet from her was Helios. She could not stop herself before she was grinning from ear to ear. "Helios." Mètis said, savoring each letter. The sun had just risen and she could see by his face that this seemed to be the best time for him. He seemed even happier then yesterday. Maybe it was because at the beginning of the sun rise it was more powerful and thus so was he. Hmm..... I shall have to see him before the sun rises to figure out if that is so. She thought, blushing lightly. Mètis wanted to see him again. In fact, if she was being honest with herself she enjoyed his company more then she enjoyed any others. So it is true... Mètis thought as she looked at him longingly. "You lived up to your promise."

Helio’s smile shot wide, even holding the flower in his mouth. She had come, she had wanted to come and see him! Or maybe it was because he had been so forceful with this morning’s meetings, but he wanted to give her a flower right as it bloomed to the light. Those were when they became their fullest, but his eyes were on her. She walked in with poise, his smiling gleaming at her. The sunrise behind her made the entrance all more beautiful, her wings seemed to glitter more than they ever had. It was odd, watching someone enter and yet he was able to pick up on everything he found beautiful. His smile had not faded slightly as he extended his large wings and bowed to her, letting her know he was happy to see her.
He chuckled lightly, walking towards her, and placing the rose in her hair he finally spoke, “Well, doesn’t that look perfect there.” He looked at her eyes for only a moment, before he turned to the waterfall, standing next to her rather happily. He hadn’t noticed his face had become lightly flushed as he put the flower in her hair, “I would not break a promise to one of such beauty and knowledge.” He chuckled quietly, as he shook his mane lightly. He wondered how she felt, what she was thinking, nothing she did ever gave away what she was feeling. The God did not like this fact, he wanted to everything about her, what she liked, what she did not. He wanted to know her favorite colors, her least favorite places, but as he thought this his eyes widened, why was he so curious? He hid these feelings to himself, “I promise I’m not like all the others. If I make you a promise, I dare not break it my Dearest Metis.” His smile was sweet, his voice projecting his truthfulness.

Mètis could not help but blush slightly when Helios placed the flower in her hair. He was so close to her face, it was unusual for one to be so close to her. She bowed her head slightly, now bashful. Why was it that this stallion was able to envoke such emotion within her? She smiled as he told her that he promised he was different then the others. Mètis had realized this not to long ago. "Thank you, and I know you are." She replied, smiling. Feeling nervous Mètis wondered what the sun God had in mind for what they would do next. It was still early morning, so it was unlikely that other's would be out and about at this time.
"What all do you have in mind Helios?" Mètis asked, shifting herself closer to him so that she could lightly brush her shoulder against his. She thought for a moment before she said what came to her mind next, making sure to test the waters of this situation. "Afterall, this date was your idea." Mètis said with a smile as she dipped her mouth in the water to get a drink. Waiting patiently for his answer and reaction.

His face had become flushed, a, date? He gulped to himself, she called this a date. The mare had to like him, if she considered this a date, when he didn’t say anything! His smile was so big; he shaded his face with his wing, acting as if he needed to cough and wished not to show Metis. How was she feeling, perhaps this was just a casual date she was feeling. He paused, he wanted to know about her. Golden eyes placed themselves quietly onto her, he knew small things, but he knew he had yet to reach her under armor. Those same wings covered his face, found them upon her back lightly. His face was slightly pink, but his smile was just as charming as it always had been.
The God’s wings slightly glowed with his voice, “I want to know the Metis no one has been able to get to, but she needs to give me hints about how I can do this.” His eyes stayed forward, he wanted to seem as calm as she was used to seeing him. Though, he could feel, the chemistry he had with her was there. Or so he felt, it felt natural to be around her. He hadn’t had the feeling of trying to be Godly, but to be just him. With a small tug, he pulled her closer with his golden wing, “So please, give me a hint my dear. I’m begging.”

Mètis raised her head as she felt his wing rest on her back lightly. It felt warm and smelled delicously sweet. She looked into his golden eyes, feeling herself getting lost in them. Quickly she snapped herself out of it and smiled at Helios. He wanted to know more about her, and she wanted to know more about him. Everything about him seemed to intrigue her more and more as the seconds passed. He certainly was not one that could be put into fathomable words. Mètis began to think to herself as he pulled her closer to him with his wing. Where has he been all this time? How come I didn't meet him sooner? She thought as her cheeks turned a bright red. Not wanting to hide it from him she leaned in closer to him.
"And I wish to know everything about you Helios." She said smiling. "I suppose when one wishes to know more about Mètis, he simply asks." She replied with light giggle. Her heart felt like it was racing in her chest from being so close to him. What was this electricity he had ignited within her heart? She hoped that it wouldn't ever fade, because he was everything she had ever wanted or hoped for in a companion. "You're very intoxicating Helios." Mètis said truthfully.

Helios smiled wide, pulling her in made him feel happy. She was beautiful in every way, he had not remembered they had met such a short time ago, she had become a weakness already. His wing became a little more pressed against her, the feeling it gave him shocked his heart with excitement. It was pure enjoyment, being there, just standing be a waterfall with her. He smiled wide, “I shall let you know everything my dear.” His smile was slightly silly, “I attract the sun, it’s what gives me powers to do things, gives me strength. I have only two weaknesses as far as I know to this day.” His smile became coy, “One is the night time, the other, well…” He looked at her, “I would say you could figure this out on your own.” He was trying to hint, that she had caught his attention faster and stronger than any other mare had ever done.
There were so many questions he had for her, he wasn’t sure what to ask her at this moment. His brow furrowed, “I suppose, I want to know, what makes you tick my dear. What you enjoy, what you don’t. Things you love, things you hate. I want to know how I can make you happier.” His heart beat heavy, he wanted to make her feel special. Metis believed every Godly stallion was only a womanizer, but he wanted to change her mind. This was his chance, he knew he wanted to steal her heart and willingly give up his..

Mètis felt her heart catch in her chest with happiness as he said that she was his weakness. She smiled as he pressed his wing against her harder, moving her wings down so that he could fully put his wing over her back like it was a draping. "Well my dear Helios." She said, savoring each word. It felt so nice to call him that. "The things that make me tick are rather simply." Mètis laughed. "For one, I simply can not stand cocky Gods. So I suppose that leaves most of them out of the running." Mètis nodded, laughing once more. "I like the company of others when I feel like having it, and would prefer to be by myself when I don't." She said, looking at him with one raised eyebrow. "However, I love spending time with you." Mètis said, not holding back anymore. "As far as things I love..." Mètis said lightly nuzzling him on the neck. "I think you could probably figure that one out." She said with a smile. Her cheeks flushed a light pink as she turned her head. "Most things make me happy." Mètis said, trying to think of things that he didn't already know of that she wasn't fond of.
"What about you?" She asked, wanting to know everything she could about him. She had shared so much about herself. "What are thinks that make the Sun God tick?" Mètis asked, leaning in closer.

Taken from AIM: Exaleen2 Helios heart almost stopped at the soft touch of Metis. His eyes began to glow a rather, vibrant, shade of gold. His ears were ringing, but he stood still as she did so. Her touch left an electric feel, shocking his body over and over again, a shock more powerful than the sun had ever given him. His breath was taken away, but in his little chaos of happiness, he took in every word of hers. He looked to her, his eyes screaming out things he could not say to her face to face, his mind was all over the place. Had Aphrodite been looking in on him and seen them at the first meeting? Had she seen how much they got along as they spoke for the first time? Was this what she had always spoke of, these feelings? His smile was wide, and without another word, Helios began to nuzzle Metis very softly, burying his face into her neck. He knew that his face was flushed, but at this moment in time he could of cared less. Her scent was sweet, her fur was soft, how he loved it all so much already.
He kept his head where it was, rested onto her neck, “You, make this God tick.” His romantic side was shooting out its seams as he took in a deep breath, “I can’t be out in the night, I become weak, and if I am stranded, it is said I will die. If I had it my way, I would show everyone the truly good in my heart. “ His nuzzled her neck again slightly, a small sigh coming from him, “But mainly, I love to show me. Not the God me, the real me, but so far, only you’ve seen me.”

Mètis's whole body felt as if it was on fire, his nuzzling was so gentle and her heart felt as though it was everywhere in her. She could feel it pounding in her head and in her hoofs. Helios, was absoultely perfect. He knew all the right things to say to make the mare side of her swoon and the Titan side of her set aside any pride to let him through. Mètis knew she would never be able to be far away from him for very long ever again. Her heart had attached to him so quickly, and she loved every second of it. "Helios, you're wonderful." She said resting her head on his. She barried her face into his mane, taking in it's delightful smells. He smelled like sunshine and flowers, everything he had brought into her life.
"Helios, I think you may show the real you more then you realize." Mètis said with a smile. "You're to good to not let that light in you shine through. Even if it is just for a moment." She said, nuzzling him once again. "Besides, every God has had his bad moments in history. It's something that can't be helped." Mètis said, thinking back to the experiances she had with seeing God's use their powers for the worse of mankind. "You can't blame yourself."

Taken from AIM Exaleen2 Helios’s smile grew, her softness making him feel as though he was back home, his eyes were closed lightly. She filled his thoughts, her beautiful smile burned into his brain, and he enjoyed it. She was the perfect mare, even down to her colors. Golden wings readjusted as he pressed into her face further into her neck, how he wished he could become closer to her, more than his physical touch. He breathed deep again, he never wanted her to go. He wanted her to stay, stay so close. It wasn’t love at first sight, no, it took a couple more glances, but his heart was screaming for her, jumping in his chest to make sure he was there with her. That lovely voice, he thought, as he lifted his head to rest their foreheads together. It made him happy, so happy, his eyes were glowing a bright gold. This happened so fast, but the stallion did not care, “I must confess, when we first met, I spoke so much of Aphrodite…” His breath sucked in.
“I spoke of her so much, because she had never let me find the one who would complete me.” His eyes closed as his forehead remained on hers, “But I see why she wanted to keep you hidden from me so long.” His eyes opened as he chuckled, straightening his neck, looking around for another flower that he could give to her. A perfect yellow flower, speckled with brown was in front of them. He used his wing to slice it, then, picked it up, putting it in her hair. He bowed to her, “Metis I have a question for you.”

Taken from AIM ~Kiana_Nala~ Mètis smiled fondly at Helios as he spoke, then rested his forehead against hers. Her blue eyes shined brightly in the sun, and their glow reflected her feelings inside her chest. As he pulled away to put another flower in her hair she longed for him to lean in closer once more. If only it was possible to be one body and soul, she would gladly do so now. Mètis was surprised by his wanting to ask her a question, her mind was frazzled from their closeness. "Yes my love. What is your question?" She asked, nuzzling him lightly for a moment before returning to her previous position so that she could be fully engaged in him.

Taken from AIM Exaleen2 His eyes sparkled wide as he looked upon her, the sunsetting behind her perfectly. A smile very wide came to his face, "Be mine." This was all the stallion could get out without his worried voice coming out. He wanted her to find this moment perfect, with the sun setting behind them, the hues of purple and pink lighting up the sky. His smile stayed, but it became more loving the longer he looked to her. He wanted to say something, but his throat was swelled. How he wanted her so, how he wanted to nuzzle her for hours, raise children with her, make her his and protect her from those who would hurt her. He placed his forehead on hers once more, a small, very ungodly faint coming from him again. "Please, This God wants his Goddess."

A smile came to her face at the same time tears came to her eyes and streamed down her cheeks. "Yes, Helios." She replied as he rested his head against her's. "I will be your's." Mètis replied as lightly nuzzled him. He spoke once more, which brought her heart to a stand still. "This Titan has waited a long time for one like you to appear." She replied, thankful that Aphrodite had blessed her with Helios. Mètis made sure to note that she would have to thank Aphrodite herself for this. "I love you, Helios."

Taken from AIM Exaleen2 His heart was pounding in his ears, and before he knew it, his mind had brought him to when he was a very small foal. Helios barely had his wings, let alone his bright shades of golds, as his parents stood above him, looking lovingly towards each other. It was a dream almost, seeing their love go so high it kissed the edges of the sky. He never understood the looks, he hadn’t believed that he’d ever be there, his own kid doing what he had done. His mind shot him back, the first thing he had heard was yes. His eyes widened, she had agreed. His hearts pounding grew even faster, she had yes to him. His smile widened, his eyes glowing so brightly gold that he dared not look into his new mates eyes. He was glowing, but when he looked down at her, so was she. His mind was spinning, and he nuzzled her, but he wrapped his long wings around her as well. She had said yes! He felt as though he was a small foal and he had been given permission to adventure on his own!
“Oh Metis, I love you so!” He wanted to fly, but than his mind popped an idea into it. His wings spread away from the beautiful mare, “I wish to take you to Olympus. You must see my home. You’ve given me so much of you, so I wish to give you a big part of me.” He smiled wide at her, this was his safe haven, and not many were allowed there, or so he was told. Perhaps she’d stay there with him, or perhaps she would not. Either way, he’d stay by her side.
