There was no denying it now. After the elevator incident, Riyo needed to do something about her physical condition. Scrawny, unconditioned muscles weren't a big deal when you worked at a desk... But around this place danger seemed to follow her like a vulture waiting for the feline to keel over.
Unfortunately, being the 'social moth' Riyo was, fitness club seemed like a terrible plan at this point. One wrong word and she'd end up with a stomach full of fist.
So there was only one option...
Asking for help.
Oh sure, it sounded SOOO easy. The problem was... Riyo had never asked for help in her life. For a long time, there had been no need for it. If she wanted to learn how to do something, she'd find a book about it and go from there... But this... This was an entirely different creature.
After a couple days of fighting herself over the idea, she'd finally gathered the courage to march into the monster dorms and up to a certain dragon's door.
No point in turning back now... With a quiet rapping on the portal, the feline waited patiently to see if Jericho was in.

The days of summer were going on by, and Jericho was just spending it relaxing for the most part. At least, he was relaxing as far as classes went. He still took care of club duties as needed, as well a few other things of course.
But for now, he was just playing through Sparkle Asylum, trying to get all the hidden trophies and whatnot.
When he heard a knocking at his door, he paused and glanced up before moving over to see who it was. It likely wasn't Riley.. Perhaps Lizzy was stopping by? Then again, it could very well be someone else.
In fact, it was, as he opened the door and found Riyo standing there.
"Oh hi," He blinked. The dragon didn't really to expect her to show up at his door given what he had picked up of her general nature. Maybe she was at the wrong place?

"Hi.." Riyo mumbled nervously, avoiding his gaze. This... would be difficult. "So..." How should she start this?
"Well... See... A couple of days ago I almost got squished by an elevator, and it made me realize the dire need to be in physical shape." She started to explain, her body tense from the lack of control she felt in this situation. "And um.. I..."
Okay, this was getting ridiculous. "willyoutrainme?" She pushed out really fast and cringed, ears falling back against her head. Oh Jack she felt so pitiful...

So apparently she was at the right place after all. And as much as Jericho was curious to how she almost got squished by an elevator, that wasn't the relevant thing going on here. There was a sort of look of amusement in his eyes as she requested for him to help her out. It wasn't anything against her. It was just that he hadn't had to train anyone yet since the start of the club.
Though... aside from that, there was the look on her face that looked like she had just asked for something horrendous. Did she dislike the idea of exercise that much?
"Yeah sure thing. When are you available to start?"

Thank Jack Jericho wasn't the type to rub it in. It made things a lot less painful.. Though the amused look was discomforting.
"Um... T-tomorrow?" The feline suggested, wondering if that would work for him. She wanted to start this as soon as possible.

"That's fine," Jericho nodded, "Meet me at the clubhouse tomorrow at noon with some workout clothes. Bring some water bottles or hatorade if you want too. There's some water fountains in the place though."
Pausing there, he thought to see if he forgot anything.
"That should be it.. so.. see you then?"

... Workout... Clothes...
Riiiiight.
"I'll be there." And Riyo was never late.... Though... The workout clothes thing might be a lot more difficult than Jericho could imagine.
"Um..." Pausing before she left, it appeared that the cat demon had something else to say. "... Thank you." There was something rarely heard from her mouth, but she didn't stick around to hear his reply. There were preparations to be made.

"You're... welcome?" Jericho had started but Riyo certainly didn't stick around for long. The girl was a bit of a strange one for sure. Shaking his head to himself, he went on and resumed his game. He'd figure out how to deal with the girl later on.
The next day, the dragon was waiting within the clubhouse room as expected, showing up a few minutes early to prep and whatnot. There wasn't a whole lot he could do aside from think of some potential exercises the bakeneko could do. One thing, he needed to remember, though, was to ask her if there was something in particular she wanted to work on.
From there, he could figure things out.
Though, he supposed it would also be good to figure out where she stood as far as her physical condition.

Riyo had arrived shortly after Jericho, since punctuality was a big deal for her.
Though... It looked like she was wearing close to the same thing as yesterday. Coat and pants.
"I'm here." She called, glancing around the club curiously. She'd never been around gym equipment before.
And it looked like her hazcat companion had followed her. Though whether he had come on his own accord or accompanied her for moral support was a secret between the two.
Felix didn't hesitate to trot over and rub himself against Jericho's leg, remembering the dragon from the festival. It was good to see him again.

Hearing the door open, Jericho turned and grinned as he saw the bakeneko come on in. It looked like her little companion was here too.
"Hey," he said to the two before blinking at the attire that Riyo wore. It... didn't look like she had brought a bag with her either. Maybe she was wearing her work out clothes under her current things?
Or maybe she thought they'd be working outside? He couldn't really be sure, but hopefully she wasn't seriously planning on exercising like that.
"Er... You're going to change right?" he asked, "You're going to get uncomfortable pretty quick wearing all of that. Just so you know."

"Oh, uh..." Looking down at her coat, Riyo grimaced. She knew that wouldn't fly.
"... Y-yeah. Of course... You can't exercise in a coat.." A nervous laugh followed her statement, glancing away from the dragon as she turned around to unbutton her coat. It was a slow, tedious process and with each button she grew a little more uncomfortable.
How would she be able to cope with this every day? Riyo wasn't entirely sure...
"Alright.." Removing the coat revealed... There was a long sleeved shirt underneath. Really? How did she put up with the heat every day?
"This is all I've got." The feline mumbled as he turned around, appearing a little flustered.

There was something weird about the way Riyo was taking off her coat. She seemed incredibly nervous and Jericho really didn't have much of a clue was to why that was. Furthermore, it seemed she had a long sleeved shirt underneath. Well... he supposed she could roll up her sleeves if she needed to..
"Well, that'll do for now I guess, but I suggest getting a loose t-shirt in the least," he suggested, "So was there something in particular that you wanted to work on, or just general fitness?"

"... Sure..." Yeah... She'd get right on that. Loose t-shirt... Hah.
Riyo immediately shook her head at Jericho's question. "Anything."
Leaning up against a wall, she sighed. "From age 8 to now all I've done is sit at a desk, carry around papers, alphabetize and calculate. My arms are like noodles." She hissed, though it was because she was angry at herself for letting it get so bad. "So... I'm willing to do anything. I don't care how much it burns."
As the two talked, Felix moved over to a bench and had a seat, purring as he watched the two interface. It was nice to see his owner not telling somebody to piss off.

Jericho raised an eyebrow at the answer there. That was... quite an early age to be doing what sounded like an accountant's job. Maybe the family needed an extra hand or something, but he couldn't really imagine her early years being all too strenuous anyway. In any case, it seemed like they would have to start from the bottom. Well, at least he had an idea of how to go about this.
"Alright, we'll start off slow and work our way up. But first things first... gotta do stretches and warm ups," he nodded while motioning her to follow to where there were some mats.
"Hm... I guess, let's start off with some basic stretches. We'll do each thing for about ten seconds, then switch things up a bit. Follow my lead."

Start off slow? How slow, she wondered.
Oh... Stretches... Yeah, pretty slow. Riyo had been one of those people who expected them to immediately start meditating under waterfalls or kick the s**t out of a block of wood like in stories...
Not that she'd admit it.
"Okay... But don't be afraid to push me. I won't give under a little pressure." Following the dragon to the mats, Riyo readied herself to mimic Jericho in whatever he did... As weird as it was.
Noticing movement from the two, Felix hopped off of the bench and moved to the mats as well. Oh, well didn't that look like fun? With a little effort, the nergal hazcat stood on his hind legs and used his wings to keep balance, comically mimicking the two bigger beings in the room.
