~He smirks as he flys towards the meadow, feeling the wind around his hair and nose he closes his eyes as he turns and heads for his faverite place within this meadow. Spotting the high cliffs of this meadow he flys closer, soon he is with ahh as he watches the water of falls and create rays of color. Smirking he moves back and looks to the ground seeing no one around he makes moves to land. Once on the ground he looks around again and folds his wings as he looks at the ground which has flowers. Closing his eyes he, starts to take in the smell of the flowers as well as grass and ground as well. He sniffs more and smells moss on rocks somewhere close, as well water. Opening his eyes he looks around for the source of the water, not seeing it he dicides to go and look for the source. Walking towards one of the cliffs he looks around and closes his eyes again. Picking up the scent of the water he opens his eyes and heads in direction of the scent, after a couple of mintues he stummbles on the source of the water a small pond lined with rocks that had moss on them. He stops, then walks for the edge of the small pond before him, looking down he glares at himself before he gets a drink.~

She hated running, but flying was another matter entirely; the feeling of the wind beneath her wings and the sight of the white puffy clouds parting like waves as she passed through them, sent a sensation of thrill through the mare. The feeling was similar to when she trained, her well toned muscles committing each move effortlessly as they recognized the drill repeated countless times over the vast amount of years the mare had been in her current form of business, protecting those who could not protect themselves.
Below the white puffy clouds, the earth spread out as far as her emerald colored eyes could see. A twinge in her gut told her that it was time to land and she was curious to find the cause; the idea that she may be finding herself in a dangerous situation never crossed her mind, for what is life without a little risk? Following her instinct, she glided down to the world below, her pink feathers catching the sun as her eyes locked on the beauty below her. The land was truly gorgeous, it appeared as if Time had stopped and she was flying into the past; flowers of all different colors covered the ground and a rainbow was caused by the cascade of water flowing from the river’s rapid falls. Silently her hooves made contact with the warm earth and the feeling she was not alone made her ears twitch, was this not what she came down here to investigate? With a shrug, Rin Asougi set off in the direction of the other being; there was no use fretting about what could be lurking behind the bush, when one was capable of getting up and seeing it for themselves.

~Syn relaxes as his lower lip touches the water, taking in a couple of sips he lifts his head from the water and looks around. Still not seeing anyone around he steps back and eyes his eyes. It had been days since he could rest, being around others, always made him a little tense, when he was around a group. Being allowed to come somewhere and relax was one of his joys, he then could bash himself all he wanted when no one could hear him, being so cruel to himself. but for now he just wanted to rest.
Opening his eyes he looks around he spots a couple of trees with some fruit on them. One looked like it had pears on it. That was his faveite when he was going up. Decided to walk towards the trees he lowers his head a little so the sun wouldn't hit his eyes. Once there he looks up at the pears then slowly stands up on his hind legs to reach the juicist one in the group above his head, He blinks as the sun touches his coat it felt like warm hands on his neck and shoulders. Shaking the feeling he finelly reaches the pear, grabbing it in his teeth he slowly lowers himself muching the pear. Once his front feet touch down he decides to walk around for a bit, turning he heads for a flower patch he saw, muttering to himself about how wothness he really was and a coward for not giving his brother a better fight.~

Casually walking, Rin leisurely made her way around the bend, her pace slowed more as her eyes focused on the dark spores floating around her; not many could see the little orbs, only those who were connected to the earth and the great tree Yggdrasil. They were such a beautiful sight and it did not matter what the mare was doing, the orbs always seemed to draw her attention. Silently she shook herself and continued around the bend to come across a small area that was filled with greenery and a tiny little stream; trees all bearing fruit surrounded the area, but one in particular drew her attention, for near the tree filled with pears a stallion with his back turned to her made his way to the flower patch only a few steps away.
Before she called attention to herself, the warrior assessed the scene and the stallion before her; he was winged, but only had one set of them, not two like she did, he was grey with stripes upon his body. With the distance between them it was hard to tell, but she thought she caught a flash of gold horn on his head. This was turning out to be incredibly interesting, and a way to kill time until she had to continue searching for the grey fat cat familiar of some mare who over feeds the thing way too much. Rin Asougi shrugged her shoulders and stepped further into the small little paradise ready to introduce herself to the grey winged stallion, a bright smile on her countenance, “Heeey! Beautiful day we’re having huh?”

~hearing someone speak he turns his head towards the sound of the voice. He stops his muttering as he looks around and sees mare a couple of feet away he turns his head and watches her, he noticed that she had two sets of wings insteed of the one, which was peeked his interest a little. Never before had he ran into such a creature, assessing her more, he spots glasses on her face, her green hair seemed to have a life of it's own. Seeing her smile he relaxes watching her walk towards him.
Giving one of his own smiles, " Yes, it is quite beautiful. I'm Syn Norikous, it is a honor and pleasure to meet you here miss." ~He smiles again and then turns his head sightly to make sure that his bangs were coving his left eye. He was very aware that most others he met found his eyes very unnerving since one was green, the other one was dark red, his grand mother and father told him that he was crused, accoording the the shaman of his father;s herd, he bought great danger to those around him. Because of this his father always told him to hide his the fact that his eyes were different from everyone.

“Nice to meet you Mister Norikous, I am Rin Asougi, but you can call me Rin,” she still had the smile on her countenance; it was always a good sign when the introductions went well and no complications arose. As long as she lived, Rin had trouble seeing figures in the distance clearly, but even with her eyes not being one hundred percent and the glasses correcting her vision, the mare still noticed how the stallion tilted his head to one side to hide one of his eyes with the white and grey bangs of his mane. A question filtered through her mind at the curious slight movement, why hide your eye? The pale Angeni shrugged, which made her wings give a little flick, everyone had their secrets, she had plenty herself, so she kept her mouth shut, it was not her place to pry.
Emerald eyes took in the scenery again, enjoying the ancient feeling of the meadow surrounding her, it made her think of a time before she became who she was, quickly she shook off the feeling of nostalgia and addressed the stallion again, “This is a beautiful place you found here, I’m guessing that you discovered it before today? Oh… and did you happen to see a fat grey cat somewhere around here? I’ve been looking for him for hours and have not had any luck.”

~He smiles and looks around thinking about her questions.~ " Thank you, I found this place a couple of days ago. I'm new here to these parts." ~He thinks about a ratherly fat grey cat that he saw one day when he was passing through here. He thought it was odd that something so fat would travel so far by it's self. Now it made sense that the cat was either lost or ran away, interesting that such a fat cat would do that. As for today he didn't have such luck as, he hadn't seen the fat grey cat today yet.~
" Yes, I have, saw him near the edge of the stream a couple of days ago. I haven't seen him yet today, however I would be happy to take you where I saw him last." ~He watches her and smiles, he wanted to get to Rin better, he hoped to get to know where she came from and where was she going. He also wondered where she lived since no seemed to live here.~

“Well it is a wonderful find, I have not seen a place such as this in many years, and it’s quite relaxing,” she paused for a second, “If you don’t mind my asking, where are you from if you are not from these parts?”
Her face brightened at his words, causing her glasses to lift higher on her face, he has seen that blasted cat, which meant that she was getting closer to the little pest, “That would be wonderful! You don’t know how long I have been searching for this cat,” Rin shook her head slightly as she remembered all the places she searched for the fat grey blob of a cat, she had told him that it had been hours, but now that she thinks back on it, the hours seemed to have turned into a few days. “It has been something of a goose chase, except I am not looking for a goose that can fly, but a fat cat that can barely move…” The pink winged mare smiled at the grey stallion, “Thank you for your help. So which way did you last see that little bugger?”

~he smiles~ "yes, it is, I come here to relax often. I come from a two-legger villege that is deep in the mountains, it is nothing like this place. it has high peaks, cold weather and snow storms nine monthes out of the year." ~ He smiles and thinks about the world he came from no wonder his herd saw it as exille when someone came here, it was in the sense.~
~He nods~ " Are you sure that is it is a cat, it kind of reminds me of a blob or a worm." ~He smirks~ " Your welcome, he was over this way when I saw him last. So this what you do. Hunt down lost things?" ~He turns and waits for her to follow suit before walking towards where he saw the blob, he was surpised that this blob could survire on his own without being eatten by others. The steam was a short walk and he hoped that the cat would still be there unharmed~

Rin looks in the directions the mountains would be, “Oh, that sounds like my home many years ago. It was constantly cold and we faced the threat of those who would kill us for the fun of it.” Rin shook her head, “I didn’t know what came over me… it has been years since I thought about the snow covered land.”
A laugh escaped from Rin, “Yes, exactly, perhaps it was a cat once, but now, it is a whole new kind of breed.” The green maned angeni nodded her head, “Well somewhat, I am a private investigator and I take whatever jobs my clients give me, so finding a lost cat falls under one of those job descriptions.” Rin Asougi started to follow Syn, her thoughts kept on moving between the lost cat and the stallion walking in front of her. Was the cat alright, it has been a couple of days without food…. Was it capable of hunting? And who was this stallion who seemed so calm, but yet closed off to the world.

~He smiles saddly~ " it is quite alright, I know how it is to get wrapped up in memories of a time long past. What kind of theat did you face. We called ours the unknown shadow, it is what killed my mother and sister."
~Watching her laugh he smirks~ " I can agree with that, I wonder how he survires without someone to like after it. Maybe it squeezes it's food to death by sitting on it." ~That was interesting he had never met a private investigator before, sounded like a fun job.~ "That makes sense." ~As they reach the stream he looks around then points with his nose to the waters edge." That is where I saw it last, I could help you track it if you like? I wouldn't mind helping you out, and I know that there is a small cave under a old rotten stump that the cat could be using as shelter, to my left."

Rin’s eyes go blank as she remembers the blood covered snow, most of her family lay dead around her, she the sole survivor of the devastating night attack, “The threat had many names, but we mostly referred to it as the Night Bandit, for it would steal souls in the middle of the night and take them to the Underworld. I am sorry to hear about your mother and sister, losing loved ones is a hard burden to bear.”
On a more happy note, Rin imaged the fat cat squishing its poor helpless victims, “Those poor creatures, they would not even see what was coming.” The mare looked to where the stallion pointed with his snout, “That would be great, two eyes are definitely better than one… wait, I think I mean four eyes… o whatever, you know what I mean. A small cave, that could be its hiding place, definitely deserves a look.” Having Syn help her with the search would take a great deal of stress off her shoulders and it would help her get to know the stallion who seemed to have a homeland similar to her own.

~He watches her and nods~ "thanks, no it isn't, it was then that I told my father that I wanted to be a warrior and protecter for my herd. That was unheard of usally the leader's son did have to do much but learn how to run the herd and deal with problems."~He remembers staring his father down until he gave in, he was greatful to his father without these skills he would never have learned to track other animals.~
" Yes." ~He smirks before, walking for the water's edge he leans his head down, seeing a couple of footprints he follows them with his eyes~ " yes, mercy would be kinder." He smiles a bit at the image of the cat missing it pray being so fat he smirks at her~ " yeah the more eyes we have the better, since the tracks lead that way, they are about a couple of hours old, the cat has at least gotten a drink of water today." ~He rises this head and turns to head for the stump, as he turns realizes that his left eye is now uncovered, He looks at Rin, then stops to start moving his bangs over his red eye again. He hoped that she didn't see, but he was betting that she had. He walks for the stump that hid the small cave. ~

Rin reappraised the stallion, thinking of him as an adversary, his muscular build and sharp horn would be great assets to him in battle, no wonder he was a warrior, “I am surprised, it is usually beneficial to the herd if the one who leads to have some skill in fighting, just in case of an attack.” In Rin’s old herd, the leader knew how to fight, but that did not help him when the creature came and killed everyone except for her.
Emerold eyes looked down at the soft earth, there etched into the dirt was a set of paw prints that were small enough to be the cat’s; the mare noticed that the stallion caught sight of them as well, a small laugh escaped her, “Though I doubt the cat would deliver mercy upon its pray, probably because it took it so long to capture the poor creature. Well I am glad, seems the cat is capable of taking care of itself in one way.” Rin was watching the stallion instead of the ground when he turned to the stump, quickly catching sight of his other eye that he had so carefully hid with his bangs. He had one green eye and the other was a deep red that reminded the mare of magma and the element fire. In his two eyes the mare recognized two the elements that made up the world they lived in; fire and earth. Why did he hide something so amazing?

~He nods~ " Usually that is true, my father wasn't much of a fighter, my younger brother also wanted to learn to fight. When we both reached adulthood, the elders decided to host a fight of sucession with any of the herd members that was old enough. i beat everyone but my brother. It was he that did this, he broke my horn." ~He shakes his and looks sad. He didn't know why but he felt that he could trust Rin with his past.~
~He nods~ " me too." ~Reaching the stump he drops to his knees and looks into the hole. It was odd, but he wanted to see if he could see anything. Setting his head near the hole he stops to listen, a short time later he rises his head and looks Rin~ " I here sometime breathing in there. Question now is what to do next? How do get the cat to come out?"
