Mission to get fossil Pokemon.
Hundreds of feet under the Earth's surface lies a world that existed before ours. Plants, Pokemon, things that existed before our time lie burried deep down, just waiting to be unearthed. Archeologist have found many things in their exploits to learn more and more about this other world that sleeps under there. What an interesting job they must have, of course it isn't easy work but still itneresting all the same.
Wouldn't you like to be an archeologist for a day? Well now is your chance! In the three regions, Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, the archeologist there are accepting help. Who are they? (I bet you are wanting to ask.) Well, Brock, Brandon, and Roark, respectively. Each region has their own unique things to find, such as Pokemon fossils of extinct Pokemon. Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and find one? And maybe your archeoligist will let you keep it? I hear there are places in those regions where they can actually revive fossil Pokemon! Isn't that cool?
But beware, it might have been seven years since Snagem has delt with any of those small evil teams but like always, there will be someone stupid enough to give birth to one. A rather new evil team is out there causing trouble, one that resembles a previous enemy of ours. They are called Team Eolith, just like the late Team Sandstorm they are crazy about fossils, though not just fossils. Team Eolith unlike Team Sandstorm is crazy about any type of artifact dug up. They seem to be searching for some specific but no one is sure yet. Their region of operations is somewhere in the region of Johto but they expand out from there to the other regions from time to time. Be wary of them, unlike Team Sandstorm they are a bit smarter and stronger. They manly use "Earth" based Pokemon, such as Ground, Rock, and Steel types, and our course they love ancient Pokemon. They may try to mess with you on your dig. So good luck.
Objective
---Travel to Kanto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh and request to join one of the archeologists mentioned on their daily dig. Send Team Eolith packing if they come forth.
Opposition
---Team Eolith, the chances are great they will mess with you and maybe even steal your "treasure" they mainly move in groups of three lower ranked peons and carry one to three Pokemon. (Based on the highest evo you can use or lower, but no lower than second stage if you can use third evos.)
Pokemon
---If you find a Pokemon out there in the wild, and you think you might want it, go for it. Let it be allowed for your rank of course. But if you want to revive a fossil you might find then no wild capture. This mission is to help you get fossil Pokemon of course.
Rewards
---A fossil of course, if you find one. If you do find one you maybe revive it in the mission. Other than that the rewards vary.

Embry received an e-mail from Brandon from the Hoenn Battle Frontier about coming to Lavaridge and helping out with a fossil excavation. Embry thought a moment before replying:
Sure thing Brandon. Its been a bit slow around here anyway with everyone running around doing things that I'm not quite experienced enough for. I'll be sure to get on the first Claydol teleport over there. See you soon.
Embry packed somethings in his bag between some brushes, and small tools to help if anything happens, and also some water because every time you do hard manual labor you get thirsty. He double checked his equipment and gear and then walked over to Claydol in the base lobby and asked for the pokemon to teleport him. The pokemon started glowing and then he disappeared and reappeared in Lavaridge in the Hoenn region with a bit of a dizzy feeling. He shook it off and then walked into the pokemon center to find Brandon.
"Embry! Good to see you! Its been awhile since I've seen you, last time you were so little! Are you still tinkering with your little technical do-dads?" Brandon said seeing Embry walk in and walked over to pat (more like slam) Embry on the back.
"I'm doing just fine Brandon. And yes, it has been awhile. As for my 'technical do-dads' I'm still working as much as I can with them." Embry replied to Brandon. It had been awhile indeed, but Embry didn't really like sitting around all the time after work at the pokemon center listening to Brandon. After a hard day at the computer store just going over to the pokemon center and relaxing with all the pokemon there was fun. And then out of nowhere Brandon came in and made his presence known. Was it annoying? Yes, a bit, but Embry didn't let that get in the way of meeting a new friend which he was glad to have met. "So where are we headed Brandon?"
Brandon laughed a bit and then started talking again. "Ah, always to the point aren't you? Well, we're going into the desert into this cave that has just been dug out a few weeks ago by a couple of rampaging Aggron. We're looking for anything that looks nice, mostly fossils though."
Embry smirked and shook his head. "Got it. Well, lets get going then Brandon, we have alot of work to do." Embry said and turned to leave before having a bag of pickaxes and shovels thrown to him by Brandon.
~~~
The two set off and it was just like old times. Brandon talking of all his new Challengers and latest finds while Embry just shook his head and smiled. They came to the edge of the desert and each got out their goggles and put them on. Embry went into the blowing sand first and was soon followed by Brandon. The two seemed to walk for a few hours in the sand, periodically stopping to take a drink from the water canteens they brought. They finally arrived at the cave and stepped into the mouth and were relieved from the buffeting sands.
Embry set down his bag and then stretched himself out. "So where do you want to start Brandon?" Embry asked and turned to look at his partner.
Brandon looked around and then decided that they would split up and go look on different ends. Embry nodded and grabbed his portion of the gear and set off.
Embry looked around and didn't really see anything until he walked deeper into the cave and pulled out his flashlight. He saw a glimmer off something and walked toward it. He got closer and saw that an Aron was sleeping on top of a rock that looked a bit different than others. Embry grabbed Karin's pokeball and then released him just in case the Aron attacked. Embry tried to think of a way to get past it to get to the odd rock but he couldn't. "I know its a total cheap shot, but Karin Water Gun on that Aron."
Karin nodded and blasted the pokemon with a seemingly painful water gun. The pokemon awoke and started shaking and it seemed a bit tired already. Embry thought that Aron would be a great addition to his team and thus looked at Karin and signaled for another Water Gun. The Aron started wobbling but not before giving a beautiful Mud Slap attack on Karin. Embry saw that the attack while a weak one, was still powerful and then grabbed an empty pokeball. He threw it at the Aron and watched the ball with his flashlight until it stopped moving. "Thank you. Welcome to the team Agro." Embry picked up the pokeball and put it on his belt. he then walked over to the rock he saw and noticed that it had claw-like shapes in it. Like they were part of the rock. was this a fossil?
"Good job kid! Now hand it over!" a voice came from the dark. The voice was soon given a person as the man in a strange attire entered Embry's line of sight. "I'll be taking that Claw fossil form you."
Embry seemed a little shocked. One, a strange guy was creeping on him form the dark. And two, he expected Embry to give up the fossil he worked so hard for. "Nah, I think I'll keep it."
The man seemed irritated with Embry. "I've been waiting for somebody to get rid of that Aron so I could steal the fossil, and now that you have I want it, whether I have to force it from you!" The man yelled and released a Geodude from a pokeball.
"Oh, you mean this guy right here?" Embry asked releasing Agro his new Aron. Agro seemed a bit irritated at the Geodude like he had seen it before. "Oooh! A Grudge match. Fun, lets start with Iron Head!"
The man flinched back from Embry when he saw Agro emerged and watch his pokemon get bashed with the powerful Steel type attack. "Umm.... Dang! Geodude, rock Throw?"
Embry chuckled a bit hearing this. He watch the rocks bounce off Agro with almost no damage done. "Sorry mate, but I'm in a bit of a time crunch, Agro, another Iron Head!" Embry watched his pokemon plow into the Geodude again and this time it fainted the pokemon.
The man started to act scared before backing up a bit. "Uuuh.... You'll get yours! this isn't the last you'll hear from Team Eolith!"
Embry shook his head and grabbed his stuff after recalling Agro. "Some people just don't learn..." He wrapped the fossil in a towel and walked back to the meeting point with Brandon.
~~~
Needless to say Brandon had found his fossils with ease and was already waiting on Embry when Embry arrived. "so did you get anything?"
Embry handed him the fossil and started leaving. "I got an Aron which satisfies my needs. You keep the fossil. I'll see you again sometime soon Brandon"
Brandon looked a bit shocked and then shrugged. "Alright, take care of yourself Embry!"
"You too you big lug of rocks!" Embry shouted exiting the cave and heading from the desert and back towards Lavaridge. Embry thinks he did rather well here. He'll leave a report of this on Sub's desk when he gets back. After seeing into this mysterious Team Eolith.
Mission Complete.
