The Greatsword, Doombringer. A legendary weapon, forged for the first Red Blade by the greatest smith who ever lived, this weapon brings death to all who see it wielded. It makes foes almost sick just to see it, and the blade is forged of such a rare metal, it can cleave through most known armors, but not living armor. Runes etched upon the blade over the centuries have granted it this, and a few other abilities.
Deathstrike is this self-styled warlord's secondary blade. Also forged by the same master smith, it has the curious ability (thanks to runes etched upon it) to cause those hit by it to react as if they had been frozen solid by a blade of pure ice. Rarely seen or used, it is nonetheless a deadly article. It also has a weakness to light-based magic, losing the ability to freeze a foe for twelve full hours.
Armor: A set of full plate mail enamelled in an emerald green, complete with full helm, and etched on every surface with runes to give it protections against any attack, increase its durability, and even lets it heal itself of small dents and scrapes. Also forged by the same smith who made his weapons, this armor has struck fear into people for generations.
Clothing: His clothing is a tunic, boots and breeches of pure black, the material expensive and unknown.
What else do they have on their person?: Coin purse, rare and valuble gems, a few rare trinkets, such as rings amulets, and small figurines of incredible age and value to collectors.

╫Fighting Style╫
Not much for subtlety, Kartanus perfers to charge in swinging, usually killing his foe with one heavy blow. If tactics demand it, he will use his smaller two handed sword and fight with finesse and patience, wearing his opponent down with hundreds of tiny cuts before delivering a final blow when their guard finally drops.

Personality: Ruthless and unstable. He has been pure evil for practically his entire life since founding the Red Blade lline, and prefers killing over anything else. When he speaks, its worth listening to to see if he'll kill you slowly, quickly, or spare you to do his bidding.

Talents: Despite his cruelty, he is a formidable diplomat and talker, able to charm almost anyone to help him or do his dirty work. He is also adept at bartering, and in his spare time, oversees contruction of a hidden fortress.

╫Background Information╫
Kartanus was born to regular parents, and destined for greatness. It is unclear what bloodline he started as, but he broke with it after two centuries, and created his own order, calling them the Red Blades. He ruled for a century, doing great deeds and inspiring his people to name children after his for generations, and his last decree gave another rule over his people, and he disappeared, heading into the frozen wastes of Kielael with his legendary weapons and armor to find something. The rebuilding of the kingdom did not affect him personally, since he was not to be seen emerging from a cave in the ice wastes for several centuries.
Whatever the reason for his return, it will be unkind to any who cross him. He is a dangerous, ruthless warlord who seeks only chaos, death, and destruction, who has the knack for putting together huge armies of the best, albeit evil, men around, and laying waste to all he sees.
Whether or not it is his goal to see the kingdom in flames after so many centuries, only time will tell.
