User Image He'd originally left home in search of more things to use in his endeavors of tinkering his eyes were often searching as he walked along. He'd grown big as his father now and though he'd managed to successfully create a few things for his sisters, he was starting to run out of things to create. It was when he couldn't think of anything that he'd decided that instead of collecting materials he'd just enjoy the day for what it had to offer.

Zul'brin still was not over the fact that her children had disowned her. Finding her grandson and the knowledge that he was nothing like the monster her daughter had become was indeed quite thrilling, and had indeed lifted Brin's mood quite a bit, but she could not shake the feeling deep in the pit of her stomach that she had failed at being a parent. Enzo, her childhood friend, had done everything it seemed to cheer her up even though nothing seemed to work. In the end, it did nothing but make Brin feel even worse, for when Enzo could not cheer her up it seemed as though it made him feel bad as well.

Brin just needed a break from it all. She had left her home before the sun had even begun to rise and had taken flight to some unknown destination. She knew not how long her wings had carried her over the green blure of land far below, only that they began ache and silently voice their disapproval at having been in use for so long. With a sigh Brin dived for the world below and landed with a heavy thud, her large form leaving deep hoofprints where she had come into contact with the earth. The day was still young and her mind was still troubled, there wasnt any time for rest yet. Setting off at a slow pace Brin pressed onward.

Cad wasn't small by far he'd gained his height from his father's side though height and bulky stature went hand in hand, towering over his tiny framed mother now was a bit of an amusement. He'd heard stories about how his father had feared that the foals she'd been carrying would cause her poor small frame to burst into several pieces and to him it was even a wonder than neither he or his siblings were stunted much in growth. His grandmother on his mom's side was not much bigger than his mother so really he towered over half of his maternal side of his family. No.. his father's side was much much bigger. He had retained his mother's dainty, sure footedness which helped him to move quietly, though his hoof prints weren't small and probably looked more like cow hooves than those of a ceryeni mixed blood.

Shaking his mane from his eyes, he left the undergrowth of the trees for the open area that wasn't too far off from where his family had made it's happy little home. The grass had a sweet scent to it today and it tickled his barrel as he walked through it. Lowering his neck, he nibbled lightly at the grass enjoying it's flavor.

Red eyes shifted to and fro in their feathery casings, focusing on any movement in Brin's surroundings as her main eyes searched for water. She was in new territory to say the least, and though finding a pond or pool of water which fish swam in had never been a problem before when searching in new territory in the air, searching on the ground was fairly new. Brin had the ability to find it, all she had to do was take a deep breath after all and her sensitive nose would be able to undoubtedly catch the scent. Only problem was she had done so much of that when hunting with Typhoid that the thought of scenting the air brought back painful memories. Brin's head dropped even lower. She had left home to leave memories behind and to attempt to get her mind off things, yet here she was still dwelling on them. She closed her main eyes and sighed.

She stood that way, completely still, for a while before movement at the forest's edge drew the attention of the large red wing eyes that had been left open. Brin didnt turn to look, but she did raise her wings some, an offensive and defensive action to take. Though the male that was moving seemed to be of no threat Brin could watch him better this way - and if need be, take flight much quicker.

Taking a mouth full of grass, he lifted his head and looked around. There in the open area he'd managed to over look an interesting looking mare... at least he thought it was a mare. Chewing as his head tilted in contemplation he eyed the other individual for a long moment till finally the grass had been chewed and he swallowed it down. Why be nasty when he didn't know her intentions? Nickering a greeting, he edged closer slowly, only pat a safe non threatening distance away. He still had a good shot at getting into the undergrowth should this turn.. nasty. but for now.. he'd just be cautious.
