Morgan was just coming out of a bar. Her violet-red hair was messed up from dancing up a storm. A pair of sling-back pumps were loosely held together in one hand. At the moment, Morgan didn’t care that she was stepping out onto a city sidewalk with bare feet; her feet were sore from dancing for the last few hours, her little toesies needed fresh air.

On the plus side, the young adult hadn’t had much to drink that night (too few attractive specimens to flirt with for drinks), so her balance was alright. Daintly, Morgan walked down the street. Dance down the street might have been more accurate. Every step she took was followed by a hip waggle and a shuffle. As Morgan shimmed by an alleyway, she saw a couple making out.

Wait. No. Not making out. One figure was actually sucking energy instead of face. Under normal circumstances, the senshi would not care too much, unless the target was handsome. It was better that a civilian be attacked than her, and she was just in such a good mood. However, there was something about the Negaverser that seemed familiar. She had definitely seen that haircut before, but where? Short… blonde … hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Prom! That was it. That cute pixie mop had been attached to the Nega who attacked Circe on Prom might with some piece of metal. Okay, Maenalus bore the brunt of the attack, but Circe was riding the other senshi, so it might as well been a direct attack on her! And now, here was that same dastardly Nega. Time for retribution!

In actuality, it was not the same Negaverser. The person that Circe was thinking of was the now Captain Illmenite and not the newly recruited Howlite. Due to Circe’s intoxication on prom night, the exact details of the person who attacked her were fuzzy. Short blonde hair was easily interchangeable with short white hair.

Quickly, Morgan found a safe place to transform. Sailor Circe was back in a flash. Rushing up to the blonde Nega, Sailor Circe went to slap her. “You! You attacked me on Prom Night! Well you won’t get away with that. It’s time to settle the score.”

Lieutenant Howlite felt the power-up immediately, turning from her 'victim' [who had a rather sleepy sort of grin on his face], in time to watch the sassy senshi stalk toward her.

The slap was easy to deflect, her training combining with the abilities given by the Negaverse to make her movement instinctual. She batted the younger female's hand away with a casual flick of the wrist that made it look easy. It was, of course, practice.

Howl's brows knit together in confusion, of course, at Circe's words, but a senshi was a senshi, and so far, most of them were a bit bonkers [must be the sparkly magic that did it]. Moving back, away from both victim and incredulous senshi, she took the time to secure the energy orb in a small pocket inside her uniform.

"I'm sorry, my dear, but you must have me confused for another dashing agent of the night," A casual grin made it seem as if they weren't enemies by default. "Which, I must say, hurts a bit, seeing how cute and unique I am."

Her hand was batted away like a fly. “Dashing, more like dastardly! Intending harm to beautiful girls. “ Circe was most certainly not talking about the sleepy-eyed man, but herself.

“Look at you all smug. It certainly was you! Same crooked smile, same moppish haircut. Don’t lie, it won’t save you from my fury.” Circe read Howlite’s grin as an admittance of guilt, and pride in what she had done. Nevermine the words that were coming out of her mouth, Circe was sure that Howlite was the perpetrator.

She was wrong, but that didn’t stop her from attempting another slap across the face while simultaneously trying to kick Howlite in the shin. The only real fighting experience Circe had was a few random self-defense classes, from when it was popular to take them, and the odd catfight.

"Really?" It was a laughing moment of slight disbelief as Howl leaned back to dodge another slap, even as she caught a stinging, only partially coordinated, kick to the shin. "This slapping thing has to stop."

Her leg actually kind of hurt [in the 'ow, I hit it on something'] sort of way, and the blonde lieutenant was quickly realizing that Circe was not the type to be turned away when she was sure of something. Howlite almost sighed.

Instead, she burst into movement, shooting out a quick, short jab toward the chin, followed by a strong cross to just below Circe's ribcage. Obviously, the plan was to incapacitate her quickly, before they drew more attention that Howlite wanted.

“Not until I’m fully satisfied.” Circe’s reply was quickly ended by Howlite’s jabs. The blow to the ribs knocked her back, and her head tilt sideways. This Nega was a little more hands on then she remembered. And that really ******** hurt. Circe was bent over, clutching at her stomach with one arm. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the civilian still there, looking at them dumb struck. “What are you waiting for, go.”

A night of dancing and drinking already had taken a toll on her. The senshi needed something to take an edge off. There was really only one option. “Molt Boost!”

Circe clapped her hands together and a little glowy orb appeared, and promptly disappeared upon contact with her skin. Their was a faint glow around the senshi. With a bit of jolt, Circe felt the pain subside a little and bit tougher. The glow would help protect her.

The teal senshi took a leap and kicked off from the wall to be at Howlite’s back. She swung two fists at her target.

Howlite might've avoided the attack entirely, if it wasn't for... What the ******** was that? Magic? She'd never seen a senshi actually use their so-called 'magic' before. Whatever it was, it seemed to rejuvenate the pretty little thing, and the tall blonde shifted, just in time to take two fists to the shoulder, rather than full back.

"Satisfied of what?" Howlite jerked away, spinning to send a hard, firm roundhouse kick toward Circe's thigh. Retaliatory strikes had become second nature to her. "I would never intend harm toward a beautiful girl."

Whether that meant that Circe was ugly, or that Howlite was once again declaring her innocence, was left unspecified.

“Satisfied of justice!” Circe grinned when she struck a blow to the negaverser. However, the blonde’s protests about her actions, or lack of, on prom night were confusing Circe. She was so certain that this was the right person, yet… there was something about her that Circe couldn’t exactly put her finger on.

The idea that she may just have been wrong, and that this attack was wrongful was the thought that crossed her mind as the senshi was forced back by Howlite’s hard kick. The force of the blow sent the senshi flying down the alley. A brickwall caught her. Circe’s head banged against the brick and her body slumped down on the cold alley ground. The faint golden aura she had before disappeared ina speck of a dust, broken by the impact of both Howlite and the wall.

"Oh," It was a quiet exclamation, more breath than sound, and the blonde was bent to one knee next to Circe's form before she'd had time to think about it. "Are you alright?" It was murmured, as she attempted to tilt the redhead's jaw, to see if there was the wet, dark shine of blood on the back of her head.

Members of the Negaverse, she'd come to learn, were made of hardier stuff, physically, than the Senshi. Howlite was still learning to compensate for her increased strength, which, when paired with her training, was deadly.

That golden sheen was gone from her form. That had to be a bad thing.

It occurred to her a bit late that Circe may strike out at her, and that it would be quite effective at this position.

Circe was not out entirely. Her senses were impaired, for sure. Part of it was the hard blow against the wall, and part was that she had consumed a fair bit of alcohol early. Yet, she wasn’t knocked out. The girl kept her eyes shut, as Howlite bent near her. Circe was biding her time. Maybe Negas were like bears, and if you played dead they would leave you alone. And if Howlite went in for the kill, Circe had enough sense left in her to be quick to defend herself.

The redhead didn’t dear move, she just laid there, trying to predict how Howlite would proceed. The fact that the nega even asked how she was surprised her, had the tabled been turned the other way, Circe wasn’t above kicking someone when they were down.

There was no resistance, but also no response to her question, and it made her heart thud against her ribcage. Dark eyes looked to her fingers, now tipped with red. "Damn," She peered closer, brow furrowing. It wasn't too bad, she knew, having been hurt a time or two, herself, but it wasn't the same as a fair fight. Unfair, to Howlite, not Circe.

That sounded odd, but one had to consider... Howlie wasn't the mean sort. She had no qualms about taking out her enemies, those who stood in her way. So far, she hadn't started a fight.

This senshi, apparently, had good reason for attacking... But not for attacking Howlite. This sort of injury, over a simple misunderstanding? A regretful click of the tongue.

"Hey." Circe's jaw was tilted back, face patted with her opposite hand. "Hey. I can't just leave you here like this."

She felt a little stupid, but what she supposed to do?

Circe felt a damp spot grow in her hair. That caused the senshi to start to worry. It didn’t help that the Nega was touching her. She tried to just breathe in and out, nice and slowly. But the girl could only play dead for so long. She had to go and get checked out, at the very least get bandages. Find someone to keep her awake through the night in case of a concussion.

Circe gingerly felt around for some object in the alley. Anything at all would do the trick. The senshi gripped onto the first thing she could: an newspaper, a fine weapon in deed. Quickly, she flapped the paper at the nega, pushed her away and shot up. “I can take care of myself, I don’t need blonde scum to look after me.”

And then she ran away, as fast as her legs could carry her.

The newspaper didn't hurt, but it was definitely startling.

Howlite toppled backwards in surprise, falling back and catching her weight on her hands as Circe bolted.

"... What a b***h!" Shaking her head, the blonde got to her feet, dusting herself off and leaving the opposite way.

Damn senshi.
