In one of my past saves, at the end of the Landsmeet, Anora said/did something that made Alistair demand to be made king.
Now I can't get him to want to be king.
I chose the "People are selfish" option after meeting Goldanna, but he still doesn't want to be king.
Any ideas?

Hm... A bug, maybe?
Did you talk to Alistair again after Goldanna and reenforce the "people are selfish" option? From what I remember if you take it back he'll become unhardened again.

Sanzolvr29 Hm... A bug, maybe? Did you talk to Alistair again after Goldanna and reenforce the "people are selfish" option? From what I remember if you take it back he'll become unhardened again. I talked to him again, but the Goldanna thing didn't come up. Maybe it is a bug, because I remember that conversation from other files.

Maybe it is a bug, because I remember that conversation from other files. Yeah, because I can't think of any other reason why he won't be king. Do you happen to have a save file right before Goldanna? You could always try loading it up to see if it'll work again.

The one for killing 500 and 1000 darkspawn. They're glitched on PS3, but there's supposedly a way to work around it by deleting the patch, so I'm going to try that at the end.

Alistair will always whine about becoming king no way around it. I did a game where I did everything Alistair said was in a relationship and everything and he still was whinny about becoming king.
