 Zayford quickly set up a few stones on the pathway, then hid in some bushes on a lil hill where he could see everything, including the pathways others used to go by. He hoped that the next to be shocked would find it funny that he did this little prank, but the likeliness was slim. He didn't realize that most people don't like to be surprised by a small shock. He should have figured this out after he had been chased and attacked many times, nothing too serious, but still, he should have learned.
He couldn't help but trick and hope for the best. It also didn't help that he laughed when he saw the face of the tricked ones. He didn't have many friends, but the few had happened through this kind of meeting, so he figured if they couldn't take a joke, they were probably not worth his time of day.

 Amu didn't feel much like flying today, she wanted to feel the wind against her as she ran through the land. There was a path that she had never ventured down before, she stopped just before it and began to think about if she should go down it or stick to her normal paths. She was feeling very adventurous though and wanted to see where it led, she walked down the path though because she didn't want to risk hurting herself by something she didn't expect.
The pink and white mare made her way down the path, she was being very observant of her surroundings, every few seconds she would look down at the ground and then around her to make sure there was no danger. After a few minutes had passed and she was deep in the path, she noticed some rocks that seemed a little out of place. She looked at them curiously wondering what kind of rocks they were, she touched her hoof to the odd object and was surprised by a little tingle going up her leg. Amu quickly pulled her hoof back and started to giggle.

Zaford watched at the mare giggled, no-one had ever reacted this way before, it interested him, she seemed to be very intriguing, he wondered why she didn't jump and get scared. What was with this mare? He was disappointed, but still, she was a beautiful mare.
(ooc--he flirts with females even ones that of his species, so don't worry, he doesn't really expect anything to happen >.< )
He wondered how he would get out and chat with this lovely mare. He moved abit, he wasn't very comfy, making the bush shake a little. Stupid buggs started flying around his head, so he started flapping his wings on his head to get them away, he hated bugs. He actually feared centipedes, millipedes, c**k roaches and caterpillars. He then noticed there was a caterpillar now on his head, he jumped out screaming. "Get it off!!! Get it off ewww" shaking his head, flapping his little wings as if his life was about to end. The caterpillar was a fuzzy brown and black one, it flung off of him, and landed softly in the grass. He relaxed, now realizing that he had now just acted like a big baby, beside the mare. He felt so stupid.

Amu had noticed motion out of the corner of her eye but didn't really know where it came from until a little horse popped out beside her. She jumped, her wings spread out and she took to the sky, she had no intention of being caught by attack. The pink mare was only a few feet from the ground, enough for protection. She peered down at the oddly colored pony, or what she peered on as a young breed. "Where are your parents?" She asked the first thing that came to her mind as she lowered herself back down to the ground. Her long white braids settled back around her as she touched back against the ground.

"My parents? I dunno, haven't seen them in years. I'm an adult Imp, not a child..." He realized the way he acted made him seem like a child. "I'm sorry, I'm just terrified of a few bugs, didn't mean to scare you. You are very pretty." He had no clue why he kept bumping into beautiful mares, but non being his species, how annoying. He wondered what would happen if he came onto her?? He would come on to any mare that was beautiful, but would she get angry?
"So what a pretty mare like you up to today?" He kicked a few other black stones to stop them from shocking her. "You are the first mare to laugh when touching my stones, I usually get a *EEEK* But you just laughed, that was pretty classy." He looked her up and down in a unnoticeable way. "You are very pretty, I bet you have a life mate already, even though you are young." He then smiled at her.

Amu blinked and smiled at him when he informed her that he was an adult. "Your forgiven, no harm done." She relaxed once again and giggled when he tried to flirt with her. "I'm just wandering around, no where specific in mind." She was being honest and didn't really see why she should lie to the adult imp. The pink and white mare nodded in agreement with him. "I even have two daughters, Sayoko and Shikon." She decided to boast about her family, she loved them with all of her heart.

"They are lucky to have such a great mother, and they also must be very handsome/beautiful if they cam from you." He stretched, "Do you like water? Because I was thinking about going to the spring with fresh water and continuing this interesting conversation. But I understand if you don't want to."
"I use alot of energy when i charge stones, so I'm a little tired and am kinda thirsty, but i would really love to continue chatting with you. I have not met a unicorn in a long time and you seem very sweet, so I am willing to wait." He smiled at her, stretching yet again flapping the wings on his head.

Amu chuckled a little at the mini stallion for trying to get her to go somewhere with him. "I am a little thirsty and thanks." She decided to thank him for the lovely compliments. She stretched her wings and took to the sky. "Last one there has to do a dare!" She yelled down at the little stallion and she took off flying for the water source.

" Ahhh, head start!!!" Chases after her trying to get ahead but highly doubtfuly going to, he tried harder. "You know, it would be more fare if you ran...." He laughed and continued running. a root out of nowhere tripped him, falling face first onto the dirt. He got back up, shakes off the dust and continues, there is no way he will ever catch up to her, but at least she looked very pretty when she flew.

Amu began to laugh when she heard the little one say something about running would be more fair. She decided it was probably true so she was going to land but when he tripped it made her laugh even harder. She decided to land anyways, a little dust flying as she flapped her wings to land back on the ground. She winked at him as she ran passed him, her long white braid flying behind her as she jumped over obstacles in her path.

She winked at him! He liked that, wasn't used to that. He chased after her , climbing over things she easily jumped over. This was tough, but he couldn't complain, because he was having alot of fun. He jumped over some small roots, then a puddle of mud. "I'm catching up to you!" He ran faster and faster, jumping instead off running, so he would go faster.

Amu decided to let the little stallion beat her since he was trying so hard. She began to slow down and huff like she was exhausted. In reality, she was full of energy and could probably run laps around the poor thing but she wanted to be nice. The white and pink mare watched as he caught up to her and she acted like she was trying to keep at pace with him. Inside though, she was really trying hard not to laugh because it was all fun and games to her.

I'm actually beating her!!! I'm beating her!! They reached the pond, but Zayford couldn't stop himself fast enough and landed on his face, just before the water, he purposely fell on his face, so he wouldn't land in the water. Well, falling on his face was the only option at the time. He stood up, legs a little shaky from the run. "I know you tried hard to win beautiful....but these legs move like magic it would seem..." he had a big smile on his face, too dumb to realize she through the race.

Amu was cracking up at how spunky the little guy seemed to be behaving. He actually thought she had tried her all to win but it was her who let him get ahead. She didn't want to seem like a show off but with the stallion it didn't seem that he was so arrogant in such a manner. It was more like he knew how to joke around and in some ways it would fail but in this case it was a success. She smiled at the stallion and only nodded her head with a giggle.
