The Land of the Unliving in the realm of Nekron, Lord of the Unliving. In here, he has absolute power, and only extremely powerful cosmic entities can enter this realm under their own power.

Cold. Eternal cold. Eternal darkness. That was all the Land of the Unliving was... and it was all he was, for he was the darkness. He was Death. He was Nekron, Lord of the Unliving, and he presided over this dimension.
The large, skeletal creature shifted on his throne, a monstrous scythe in one hand while the other rested on the arm of his throne. He had spied a fight in the physical plane, and he had spotted the traitorous Zesoranael, his foolish little friend, the Blue Lantern, a Green Lantern (one of the few remaining members of that Corps), and... someone new. Someone... undead. And he was capable of holding his own against a Lantern. That made him a prime candidate for Nekron's schemes... The wheels in the being's head began to turn as he started to plot. He knew what would happen. The true Blackest Night had not truly come, he decided... but it would. He would make sure of it. And in the end... there would be nothing but him.

Before the 'Lord of the Unliving' a small rip of space and time appeared before him. The rip shook as it expanded in a dark portal. The portal resembled a black swirling pool. The portal hissed as a large black leg stepped through. The leg was soon followed by an entire black figure, as Blackheart stepped foot into the Unliving Realm.
Blackheart's gaze rested on Nekron. Blackheart's gaze was a bit of a mix between curiosity and pure hatred. He was curious at what this creature was before him as he spoke without fear, "I don't know who you are but you are coming into my territory. Earth is my domain and I will claim my kingdom here soon! So if I see you near my territory again, I'll take that scythe of yours and gut you with it".
He clutched his fist hard as he stared down Nekron. He could tell whatever this creature was, he was no push over. He knew if the creature wanted to fight, Blackheart would give him the fight of his life.

Nekron's soulless, glowing white eyes looked to the new arrival. A powerful entity from the invading Multiverse... but nowhere near as strong as Nekron. Were he able to smile, he would do so. However, he did let out an otherworldly chuckle.
"You know not who you speak to child. I am Nekron, Lord of the Unliving. You? You are nothing. And you... are in my world. Do not think you can scare me, barging in here with pointless bravado. I care not for your duties, child... I care only for my own."

Blackheart stared at Nekron with his eyes filled with hatred. How dare this person speak to me like that. His mind filled with rage, as he couldn't think about nothing beside him slaying this beast. He shook his head getting rid of that thought from his mind at that moment.
"Who are you? Who dares to speak to Blackheart!, the son of Mephisto! What is your purpose here? What do you want with Earth?", Blackheart asked, actually more like demanding the answers he seeked.

"Son of Mephisto? You are that idiot's son?" Nekron hissed. "That weakling and I were fighting over my newest Black Lantern... until the child broke free of both our bonds..." Nekron shifted in his seat, pondering the rest of Blackheart's words. Then he let out a soft cackle.
"Earth? Oh no, child... I am not so shortsighted as to focus on a single area... even if it is where all life began in the first place. No... I want to destroy all life. Everything shall fall... but perhaps... perhaps I'll spare you..."
Nekron chuckled again as he looked at Blackheart. The gears began turning once more. Blackheart could make a powerful ally... expendable, yes... but he'd serve his purpose before Nekron finally disposed of him.

Finally, something they could agree on. How weak and foolish Mephisto was. Blackheart smiled at Nekron, the situation he was in was a bit funny. The person he was gonna slay over Earth was starting to seem like a friend.
"Listen to me. Me and my old man disagree on how to run things. He was foolish to interfere with your affairs. There was no reason to do such a thing", Blackheart watched him, curious if this person could really destroy all life.
He was a bit insulted by Nekron's insisting that he could defeat him. This creature seemed so confident in his abilities that Blackheart wanted to see how strong he really was. "Destroy all life you say? The amount of dead would destroy Mephisto and keep him distracted. With that I shall gain control of Earth and create my own, hell on Earth.", Blackheart grinned to himself as he realized how much of a potential ally Nekron could be.

"Of course you will," Nekron said softly, stifling a chuckle. "I might even grant you more than Earth to rule over..."
Honestly, how arrogant could such a being be? Still... this child wanted his father dead. Nekron could help with that...

Blackheart smiled widely as he looked to Nekron. This being could very well help him overthrow his father and kill him. This could turn out to be the greatest ally he could receive.
Blackheart nodded as he spoke, "Yes together, we can destroy all life and destroy Mephisto. What a wonderful partnership we may have". Blackheart extended his hand, waiting for his friend to accept him as an ally instead of an enemy.

"Touching my hand would not be a good idea..." Nekron said slowly. "My touch can kill you, or at least drain your life force. However, I need not shake your hand to tell you that you have a deal... partner. Now... we will need other allies. I have my eyes on a being whom I could make my next herald... but even when I do, it will take time for me to garner enough strength to appear in the physical realm." he explained.

Dormammu
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Suddenly... as the two powerful beings were communicating with each other, a heavy presence filled the cold air of The Land of the Unliving. It felt incredibly immense, comprised of nothing but raw power. It was at that very instance, that a large gaping vortex opened up just above them. A tall and dark figure slowly escaped out of the vortex hole. He was dressed in a black metal-like suit, his cape swaying behind him, and his head shrouded with eternal flames.
Seconds later, his boots slammed down into the ground, right next to the other two. He slowly lifted his head up, his skeleton like face becoming visible. A large grin appeared as he gazed upon the beings.
"Why... hello there!" he greeted.

Nekron shifted again on his throne, looking curiously at the new arrival. This one was... powerful. Far more so than Blackheart, it seemed. Nekron wasn't scared, however-- he had no capacity for fear. He was simply... intrigued.
"Greetings, child..." he said softly, his tone being much more accommodating for this new arrival than it had been for Blackheart, as this arrival hadn't been stupid enough to come in and start making empty threats. "You are in the realm of Nekron, Lord of the Unliving... and you are being addressed by Nekron himself. Tell me, child... what is your name?"

Dormammu
 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dormammu tilted his head over to the large skeletal being sitting upon a throne. He beamed before he gladly responded back.
"Dormammu," he replied, "...I am known as Dormammu the Dread One. Oh, I know who you are. In fact, I know who both of you are... Nekron and Blackheart. I have watched over you both for through time and space itself!"
He placed his hands behind his back, encircling the others. His sinister looking face did not lift off of their presence.
"I grew bored and decided to pay you both a visit. I surely hope you don't mind," he chuckled.

The only one whom is Dreaded... is me. Nekron thought to himself. However, he shrugged. "No, I do not mind, Dormammu. I simply grow bored myself, cursed as I am to sit here in the realm... a being such as I, who has existed before Life itself, shouldn't have to be confined like this. I wish to be free... and I shall be... soon."

Blackheart "We enjoy the night, the darkness, where we can do things that aren't acceptable in the light. Night is when we slake our thirst." Blackheart watched as Dormammu made his grand entrance. So this was the legendary Dormammu, the one who's power surpassed even Mephisto's. Blackheart looked him over with a careful eye and then sighed to himself. Neither of these Cosmic beings looked so tough. He had a feeling he could take them in a one on one battle. Even though he was showed up by that Captain Marvel. Blackheart's rage peaked when he thought about that arrogant mortal, it was sickening.
"Greetings Dormammu. I didn't expect to see you in this realm. Were you hoping to conquer this realm as well or did you finally retire from that business? "Better to rule in hell than serve in heaven."
