 Tilly stared with large and almost scared eyes. She couldn't believe it... The strength that she had known and loved had all but disappeared. What had stood so powerful... was now nothing more then a sniveling child.
Well that wasn't quite the right word. She glanced back to where she had just gotten up from. Her home, well, her bodyguard's home, was laying in pieces around her. And she had slept through it. The mighty tree that had kept her sheltered, had been blown over by the wind.
The only reason she hadn't blown away... she was guessing, was because of Carni's ever present self at her back had kept her anchored there. One more reason that she was glad that he was there.
However... she was getting too comfortable... she needed to move on... and thats why she was up before the light had touched the land. She was going to move along. She was getting too attached to one particular black stallion.

Everything had changed in the course of a few hours. The night had ended perfect with him and Tilly together, and then it was gone. His side got cold quickly, telling him that the one who had been pressed against it was now gone. Head snapped up, eyes wide with fear, the black stallion got to his hooves quickly. What had happened? A large tree had tappled over, branches and other smaller trees littered the ground. Ha Carnivore done that? It was possible, that stallion did had a very destructive nature to him.
Spinning around he looked over the damage. Whatever had happened here it obviously wasn't a safe place anymore. First he needed to get out of here. And the other thing he needed to do was to find that little mare. He wasn't sure why, but something in his mind told him that she was supposed to be around him and more importantly he would be safe with her protecting him. He spun around again and there on the other side of the clearing she was standing. Letting out a whinny Nameless hurried over to her side, limps shaking slightly as he tried to be as close to her as possible without knocking her over. "W-what happened?" He asked in a frightened voice, eyes still wide and fearful.

Tilly lifted a hoof to take a step on toward her new beginnings and then frowned. The fear in the stallions voice is what stopped her. When had carnivore been afraid of anything. "Carni... Whats wrong." Her voice held concern. "It was just a storm... I must have slept through it... Did you see it fall last night?"
She twitched her tail and then shook her head. "Love must have headed off already... He wouldn't leave the territory without you... would he?" She frowned. With how stuck up love had been acting.. she didn't doubt that he would.
Giving one last look over her shoulder into the darkness she gave carni a smile. "Why don't you get more sleep... don't you have training today with love? " She smiled. "Need to be all rested for that..." She was probably being too sweet and he was probably going to catch her. She flicked an ear and looked at the black stallion.

Ears pinned back against his head. Did she just call him Carni? What kind of a name was there? Then it registered, Carni must be short for Carnivore. But wait...why would Carnivore keep this tiny mare around? That part of his memories belonged to his other half so he was at a lose. Eyes turned to the fallen over tree and then back to the mare. "No, I didn't see it." Must have been one hell of a storm to topple a giant tree like that so easily to have them both not woken up to it.
Love? Oh now he remembered. Love was the big scary stallion who wore a big scary animal pelt on his back. He didn't like Love, but only because he found his presence so intimidating. "I..don't know." How was he supposed to keep track of the stallion...it wasn't his duty as far as he could remember. He did not want to get more sleep, he was awake and would remain that way until darkness fell again. Nor did he want to do training with Love. "No, no, no, no. No training." He gave his head a vigorous shake to accentuate his point. "Nameless stay with you...where it's safe." And if it was possible he inched even closer to the mare, keeping his head low so that he wouldn't lose sight of her.

"Nameless?" She rounded on him "Carnivore... what has gotten into you?" She flicked her tail and glanced around. "Well... if you aren't going to go back to sleep... you may as well walk with me." She sighed. Guess she wasn't leaving today... Tomorrow for sure.
Glancing at Carnivore she shook her head and launched her up onto the tree and then over to the other side. "Come on Carni... we need to find Love."
Flicking her tail her mind was racing. What had happened to Carni... he must have gotten hit in the head when the storm was howling. She frowned. She didn't know if she liked this new carni as much.
Waiting for Carnivore to come over the tree she flicked her tail and pondered running.

Clearly Carnivore spent a lot of time with this mare, and he himself had not shown up since she had arrived, or else she would know who he was. He gave his head a shake. "Not Carnivore, just Nameless now." He wasn't sure how to explain it to her, plus he was still far too frightened to be able to think clearly. As she jumped up onto and then over the tree Nameless felt panic course through his veins. He couldn't see her anymore, what if they got separated and he couldn't find her again. Then what would he do. Prancing for a few moments Nameless looked at the fallen over tree, not sure if he could jump over it. Carnivore may be in good shape but Nameless tended to avoid doing things that may be dangerous.
"Wait!" He cried out and then leapt over the tree, tumbling to the ground on the other side in a less than graceful way. But Nameless was quick to recover and hurried to the mares side. Why did they need to find Love?

Tilly was getting upset. Her big strong bodyguard was about as useful as that fallen tree."Carnivore... " She frowned. "Who in the Hell-Herd is nameless" She was getting even more upset. Why would he be playing this game with her... It wasn't fun any more... Stomping her foot she snorted. "Carni i need you to snap out of this phase and stand up straight... If not... im leaving to find love on my own." Tilly side stepped and with a snort she turned and marched out of the grove and out into the field.
"Love! Damn it Love... get your sneaky a** out here..." She stomped forward. "Sure... i can't believe that you leave just as Carni goes through a mental breakdown..."
Grumbling when he didn't show up she sighed. "Alright Car-Imean-Nameless... Tell me... why are you like this today?"

He knew she was not liking the change but there was little he could do about it. He had no control of when or how long one of his personalities took over. Nameless showed up much less now than before, but every now and then his weaker half would slip through...just like it had this morning. He didn't manage to get a word out before the tiny mare trotted off, determined to look for Love. Darn it! He didn't want to see that stallion. But he didn't want to be left alone either. Nameless hurried after her and with a small burst of speed he managed to get in front of her and stop her before she completely left.
"Nameless...explain." He said with a sigh though he wasn't exactly sure how to do so. Chewing on his lip he looked about for a moment as he tried to think of how to word it. It was honestly hard to explain. "Carnivore and Nameless same." He finally said after a long pause. "Carnivore around a lot, Nameless come around sometime. Don't know when it happens, just does. Name...Nameless weak, kicked out by father, never named. Carnivore came to protect Nameless...but Nameless gets in Carnivores way sometimes....like now." Boy he hoped she understood that. Lowering his head Nameless looked at Tilly with a dejected look in his eyes. Oh if only Carnivore would come back...that would solve everything.

Tilly stared at him with a glassy eyed stare. "So what your telling me... is that really Carnivore is a mental case and i should seriously consider running away?"
She flicked her tail and tossed her head. "Alright... so Nameless... Im not going to call you nameless... every one needs a name.... So we are going to go on the great name hunt... and if we find love... all the better."
She smiled and pulling one of her bipolar moments she started trotting around him..."So, Coffee, in this change of pace do you still know who i am... and what... what... our...feelings are?" She glanced over her should and waited. "Lets go... Bob, we have a bit of distance to cross."

He gave his head a firm shake. "No, you can't run away...Carnivore would chase after you...and...and he would be very mad." And a mad Carnivore was a scary Carnivore. He had opened his mouth to argue that he had a name and that name was Nameless. But he couldn't argue with her....that would only make her angry, or upset, and he needed her.
With a moment of hesitation because he wasn't sure why she was calling him Coffee...or Bob for that matter, he began to walk, but made sure she was going to follow. Giving his head a slight bob Nameless for the first time today looked confident. "Nameless know who you are...Carnivore thinks of you a lot. Nameless sometimes sees what Carnivore thinks." If that made any sense, he couldn't explain it any better. "You're Tills, and....Carnivore..." He paused in midstep as the word eluded him for a moment, and then continued forward. "...have a lot of feelings for you. He...l-l-loves you." Yeah that sounded right. This mare was constantly on Carnivores mind and because of that Nameless knew things about her and Carnivores relationship that even Carnivore might not have even said.
He glanced down at her with an innocent look in his eyes. "Does...Tills love Carnivore?" Wouldn't that be sweet if she did? He always dreamed of being in love...but it had always been against him considering he was almost always on the run, or dominated by Carnivore or scared of everything.

Tilly lost a step.. "I told that knuckle brained stallion my name was tilly and that he was not to cal me by anything but that." However, there was no venom in her voice. "Jericho(Totally going to use this as a tillyxcarni baby name)... My name isn't..Ti-" She frowned , he loved her... No.. that was bad... very bad. She shook her head. "Teflon... He can't love me... he is just... just a body guard... u-until i leave..."
She flicked her tail. Did she love Carnivore. Se took a glance over nameless. If she loved carnivore then she would have to love nameless too. "I...I... I think we really need to find love stories.." She frowned. "Geronimo... well what would you think if i said i did... how would that make you feel?"
Tilly continued to move forward. "Lets stop by the creek... i could use a drink."

"I'm...sorry...but that's what he...calls...calls you when he thinks about you..." How was he to know that Tilly didn't like to be called anything but Tilly. He only knew some of Carnivores thoughts, not all of them. Carnivore was her...body guard? What exactly did that mean? "W-well...then...your um body guard loves you?" He wasn't sure why he was saying that, this was all very much confusing to him. "But...he does."
Boy he was really messing things up...Carnivore was going to kill him...somehow. "Why...do you want to find Love? He knows about Nameless." It wouldn't be much of a surprise for her to tell him about Carnivore's other self. Her question made him pause for a moment. Well Nameless always wanted to feel loved. Only his mother had ever loved him, and he missed that greatly. "I...would like that...Nameless wants to be loved." He got a sudden sad look on his face. "Nameless never been loved before." He followed her in silence as they made their way to towards the creek.

"Thats exactly why... He can shed some light on this parade..." She flicked her tail stepping over what was a large log to her. Carefully she glanced back and smiled. "Well,buck up romeo... No need for us to get all mopey..." She trotted a bit and then came to a stop.
"Taffy... are we going the right way?" It occurred to her that she only knew the way to the creek at night.. After that one night with Carni... she had headed down to the creek to get a drink... so she was feeling like they were taking the long way.
Deciding she didn't care she continued. "So Midnight... What do you-" Her voice cut off as she stumbled forward onto the ground. The rock that she tripped over sliced a line across her ankle. Letting out a grunt of pain she grit her teeth attempting to right herself before she fell down once more.
Frowning she glanced up at Nameless. "Damnit... "

She was pretty quick for someone so small. Or perhaps it was because while Nameless had control his steps were shorter, much more hesitant and overall clumsy. "Oh um..." This was horrible confusing having her call him a different name every time she spoke. Why could she not call him Nameless like everyone else did...well at least those who knew Nameless existed. "I think it's this way." He paused to glance around, trying to get his barrings.
"No wait it's this way." They were not heading exactly towards the creek but at the same time weren't going away from it either.
Hearing her sentence suddenly cut out Nameless spun around to see her fall to the ground. New panic ran through his body and he came over to her side. "Are you..." He never got to finish his sentence as his eyes fell upon the cut. "...that's..." His legs started to wobble. No he had to fight this, had to remain standing, but it was a loosing battle. "...blood." Eyes rolled back and the black stallion fell over, hitting the ground with a solid thud.
A moment later came a loud snort and he was on his feet almost instantly. Where the hell was he? This wasn't the clearing they slept in. Large red eyes turned to look around and to his horror saw Tilly lying on the ground, and what was worse she was bleeding. Letting out an angry whinny Carnivore moved over to her side, lowering his head to inspect the wound. "Tilly hurt. Who hurt Tilly?" He was ready to kill whatever had hurt her. But he also needed to make sure she was okay.

Tilly frowned. "Name...Less..."He was out... like a candle...Grunting she tried once more to push herself up only succeeding in planting her face more firmly in the ground. "Damnit... " She heard the snort and frowned before she turned her face to look at him directly... Yep... he was back.. and Tilly was pissed.
Tilly barked at him when he got close enough. "Back off you nitwit..." She tried once more and finally made it to her feet. She placed the hurt hoof back to the ground. She winced but stood straight... "Well... welcome back Carnivore.... Toffee and i were having a nice chat until i fell over that blasted rock... " She flicked her tail indigently.
"Well now that your back... nice Tilly is gonna take a break while Super Tilly takes over..." She closed her eyes and when they opened again there was a fire all the new. "You no good, good for nothing,son of a gofer... " She glared daggers while her words traveled across the short distance to reach him.
"You could have at least told me that you were certifiable... So i could be prepare... Poor Tippecanoe didn't stand a chance... poor dear... trying to be all sweet and everything... and im like... Well What the hell happened to you... and Buffalo Bill was all like... Im carnivore... and im like... The hell you are... I know who that stallion i fell in love with is... and hes like... don't be upset tills... and im like... ITS TILLY!!!!!"
