For the past few nights Mitsu had been plagued with the familiar broken imagery of a nightmare. Or perhaps it was a memory? Either way she hadn't slept and not being one to drink coffee her mind was dragging. For the longest time she sat on her bed, her head dipping like she might go to sleep but as soon as her eyes closed the nightmare was there to greet her with open arms. A tall dark figure with a jagged toothy smile, hands reaching for her. It made her jerk back awake with a start, tired eyes searching the room for a person who wasn't there.
With a sigh Mitsu pushed her way out of bed, eyes drifting over Milo curled up on her pillow. At least someone was able to sleep. "I'm going for a walk Milo.." She uttered to the sleeping fox before she headed to the door. She didn't even bother to put on her shoes, just simply left grabbing her mask before she exited the door. The covering was placed carefully over her face as she made her way down the hall to leave the dorms wondering where she should go. Maybe to the courtyard?

It wasn't so much that Mot had trouble sleeping on a daily basis, just that it was not often he felt tired. Not enough to warrant trying to sleep.
Rather than stay inside that night, Mot wanted to get a bit of fresh air. He left the reaper dorms, strolling out toward the courtyard. It seemed to be a lovely night.
Mot had not been expecting anyone else to be out so late, so it came as a surprise to see Mitsu wandering about. He paused, quirking an unseen brow. "Evening, miss." Mot called out softly, tipping his already low lying hat. "A little late for lady to be taking a stroll, no?"

Mitsu's sluggish movements had finally gotten her to the courtyard where she stood rather aimlessly for a moment. The place was somewhat familiar, it was where Levi and Mot had tried to teach her to dance. Even the music Mot had played on his phone tickled the back of her mind like a dream. She was in no shape to even pretend to practice dancing though. Much face planting would be had.
The lycan had just started to turn when a familiar voice broke through the silence of the night startling her out of her wits. For once her ears hadn't picked up on any approaching footsteps so Mot's presence was very much a surprise. That coupled with the nightmare she had been having left her rigid for a moment, her tail bristling out like a bottle brush.
Turning at first Mitsu only saw the tall dark figure in the night and her heart started to pound against her chest. She was almost ready to flee when her eyes finally adjusted and she realized it was Mot. "M-m-Mot?" Looking up toward the reaper's covered face, Mitsu started to relax a little. "I...I just wanted to go for a walk....couldn't sleep."

Mot took Mitsu's timidness as a usual thing. Nothing out of the ordinary. He hadn't met with her on her own before. Especially at night, where dangerous things could happen.
"Bad dreams?" It seemed like something most people would lose sleep over, other than too much candy or something. He patted the ghoul on the shoulder. "Come on. If you're going to walk at night, may as well have an escort." He wouldn't stop her from taking a walk. But he certainly felt better making sure she was safe. It wasn't as if he was going to bed any time soon.

"Y...yeah." Mitsu nodded, it seemed Mot had hit the nail on the head.
Feeling the pat on the shoulder the lupine looked up toward the much taller reaper when he offered to walk with her. That probably....wasn't a bad idea. Mitsu always forgot about the things that lurked in the forest just on the edge of school grounds.
"T..thank you," Mitsu nodded as she continued her sluggish walking through the courtyard. "S..so why are you up? Did you have bad dreams too?"

Mot walked at her pace through the courtyard, in no hurry to be anywhere or rush her. Mot shook his head lightly. "No. I don't ever sleep much, to be honest." He answered softly. "I don't remember the last time I had a dream, if at all."
Mot slipped his hands into his pockets as he walked side by side with the lupine. He rarely had company while walking at night, aside from his foxfire on occasion. "Is this a common occurrence for you? Bad dreams?"

"You don't sleep?" Mitsu supposed they didn't have to sleep but it was very difficult for her not to. It was such a habit her body felt tired and sluggish when she didn't....like now.
Shaking her head at Mot's question, Mitsu tried to give it some thought. "I used to...only have nightmares every big once in a while but now lately....its much more frequent." She even sounded tired as she said it, like the nightmare was almost draining. "Maybe it would be better if I didn't sleep." Teetering a bit in place Mitsu paused in her walk shifting her mask slightly to rub at her eyes. She was too tired to be concerned that she was exposing her face, to be honest she wasn't thinking about it.

"I do sleep, just not for very long." Mot clarified with a smile.
Mitsu's looked way too unsteady on her feet. It wasn't that she wasn't sleepy, she was afraid to sleep. Mot frowned, watching as she moved her mask to rub her eyes. Gee, from what he could tell the ghoul was really cute! Shame to hide such a pretty face, honestly.
Mot placed his hands on her shoulders and leaned down a bit. "No, you need to sleep. It isn't heathy not to." Like he was one to talk. "Have you been stressed out lately? Maybe that would explain why your nightmares are becoming more frequent."

When Mot placed his hands on her shoulders, Mitsu's head tilted back like it weighed twice what it really did. "Stressed?"
Had she been stressed? More than normal anyway? "I've been having these dreams since I came back from home." She admitted softly, a hand coming up to touch one of the reaper's that rested on her shoulder. "And I guess...I'm worried about Shun." He had seemed really down and not to mention he had over worked himself. Mitsu was constantly afraid he was going to do it again while she wasn't watching or do something worse. Where would be the breaking point?
Patting Mot's hand a bit, Mitsu turned back toward their random path. "I...I should be fine I think." Taking a few more steps she looked up at the reaper again. "Do you normally come walking outside when you don't sleep?"

As far as Mot could tell, either home scared her, or being away from home scared her. The fact Shun was worrying her just added to it. She would be fine? Maybe, but it was troubling. "Maybe we could find something to calm your nerves. Maybe you have nightmares because you can't relax your mind."
"Usually." He said, again walking beside her down the random path they had taken. "That or read, or take a minipet for a walk. They're fun to play with when I'm bored."

"Maybe..." Mitsu said in response to Mot's suggestion. "Not really sure how to go about that." Obviously battling nightmares was a losing battle on her end, thus why she was still up.
Though, what Mot was saying was interesting. With him staying up all the time he had so much more time to do other things like reading and spending time with his pets. "I like to read too. It's just hard to focus when I'm tired." Which had made class time difficult.

There seemed to be two ways to go about aiding Mitsu: One, to find a way to keep her awake, or Two, finding a way to get her to sleep. Both seemed difficult.
"Say!" He said suddenly. "Can you think of anything in the past that helped you sleep? Either because of how boring it was, or how relaxing it was? If not, my only solution to this would be coffee but... after seeing Levi.." Maybe coffee would be a bad idea.

The sudden 'Say' made Mitsu jump looking toward the reaper as apparently wanted her attention....or had an idea. The lycan tried to give some thought to Mot's question but it was hard to come up with anything with her mind fuzzy with sleep. "I guess music has put me to sleep before."
"Y...yeah the coffee...I've never drank coffee before." She wasn't sure she would have the same effect as Levi but it was hard to say. The tatzel had been fairly calm and all of a sudden she had been wired spinning Mitsu around in circles. "I guess if all else fails though there is coffee." Coffee, Plan B, check.

Hmm music calms the not so savage beast? It could work.
"Coffee will be our last resort. Though I suppose I am a hypocrite for condemning it at all." He lived off of it most nights. Then again, staying awake was not much of a bother to him most nights ether. The fact the ghoul was having bad dreams probably made her even more fatigued than a simple lack of sleep would entail.
"Okay, so we need to find you a lullaby!" He said cheerfully, clasping his hands together. "All the shops are closed. So we can't get you a music box. Maybe something else will do until we can?" But what?

"I..I have a music box." Though it hadn't brought her too much comfort lately. Just memories of the past. "I...have a keyboard too," Though she didn't feel like playing at the moment being so tired. Likely she would sound horrible.
"I...I guess that would leave the radio...I don't have music on my eyephone like you do," She hadn't even taken her phone with her...a lot of good it did her at the moment.
