Coven eyed the flowers critically. One of them was still spiky, and he was pretty sure that the one on the left was trying to eat him, even though he'd progressed to the point there were no teeth. But he'd made them using his powers, so Spook would like them, right? His brow furrowed. He'd not take the spiky one but Spook would probably find the chewing one cute. Potting them carefully, he put them in the makeshift basket he'd found and began to carry them to their usual meeting spot.
----
Eyes narrowed, calculating. Yes. This would be perfect - trip one up, instant kiss, romance initiated for the ridicolously shy pair.

Spook was practically bouncing in excitement - it was always an occasion when she saw Coven and he'd said that he had a surprise for her this time. She tried to keep still - the stitching in her back leg was beginning to come loose again and she wanted to make sure that it wouldn't fall off if she needed to run over to him. She had no sense of the mystery figure - none at all. It never even occurred to her to keep a lookout - after all, what could honestly kill her or even hurt her?

Coven hop-ran along in a strange gait - using his back legs to push himself forward at a reasonable speed, whilst keeping his basket secure every other push with his front paws. In short, he looked ridicolous - but he could see Spook now, so it was okay. Grinning around his basket, he flicked his tail, half-praying at the same time. A warm breeze flicked past him...well, that had been the intent - a gust of strong heated wind was what actually happened. He winced as he arrived.
--
Coven! The mystery figure scratched her claws in the dirt. Fffffgh. That plan was ruined for now then.

Spook was completely caught off gaurd by the sudden strong gust of wind and went tumbling, her leg coming off regardless of her pains to keep it on. She cried out in dismay and looked rather hurt. "What was that for?"

Coven put the basket down quickly but carefully, ran to get Spook's leg and then ran back to her, placing it next to her and babbling rapidly.
"Oh NO OH NO! That did not go to plan! How is it my powers, it's a can not instead of a can? I wanted to send you a pleasant summer breeze, instead that heated wind knocked you from your knees! This really isn't what I wanted to do, Oh spook, please forgive me will you?!?"

Spook sniffled, and nodded, balancing on just three of her legs. "I understand it wasn't on purpose, it just scared me is all. I wasn't expecting it." She explained and then nuzzled him. "I'm still happy to see you though! I was afraid you weren't going to come - I waited... Granted, I got here early, despite getting distracted by a really cute kit on the way here that kept telling me all these random facts."

Coven smiled as she nuzzled him, worries dissipating. As she mentioned the waiting, he made a sound of recognition, and bounced back to the basket.
"You're a little early, I was a little late - my sincerest apologies, for making you wait. Remember you said to practice and learn, my powers to goodness turn? Well I've got a little better, though I got a little wetter, when practicing went bad, I hope these flowers I made for you with them, erases any of your sad!"
Picking it up in his mouth, he presented it to Spook, eyes shining with glee.
The plants were reasonably pretty, though they all had a suggestion that they were meant to be evil and coven had just mushed them otherwise - especially the nomnom plant, which looked very much like a venus-fly trap with no teeth and drool.

Spook's eyes lit up with happy and she squeed over the flowers - the nomnom plant in particular. "Oh Coven! They're so pretty! And this one with the mouth - it's so cute! I think I'm going to name them... Starry and Noms." she said and gave the other noodle a loving lick on the cheek.
