Title says it all. Maybe you're a gay guy who's into sports. Maybe your a lesbian who likes "girly things", like sleepovers, sparkles, or getting your hair done. Or maybe you like to dress up in the opposite sex's clothing, yet you're straight.
I'll start. I'm bisexual and I'm not very horny. I do not want to hook up with people or screw every person that walks past me. If I stayed a virgin for the rest of my life I wouldn't give a damn. I could always adopt if I wanted kids.

Also, if you DO fit the stereotype in anyway, feel free to list those, too. I kind of fit one bisexual stereotype (but not exactly) in the fact that I'm confused...well, not about my sexuality, of course (well I was confused about that when I was first realizing my bisexuality, but not anymore!) Anyway, the reason why I'm confused is because I'm terrible at making decisions. The doctor will ask me, "Sheila, what prescription do you think you should take?" Then I'll say "Uuuuhh..." but I'll think, "I don't know, you tell me, you're the doctor!" My mom asks when I'm sick, "Do you feel dizzy?" And I say "I don't know, kind of..." And also when my uncle asked me what flavor of cake I wanted, I said "Chocolate...no, I changed my mind...vanilla! Uh whatever. It doesn't matter. Surprise me."

So... yeah. Tell me how you break/fit the stereotypes of your sexuality or sexual orientation and stuff.

I am a lesbian and I like lady-like things like beautiful dresses, jewelery, iridescence, rainbow, sparkles, smiles, cute things. However, I do fit the stereo type in that I'm overweight.

Lesbians are overweight? I've never heard that one. o.O

I don't fit into the asexual stereotype in that I don't have some sort of childhood trauma and I'm not repressed about anything(at least as far as I know). Also I don't hate sexual people or think I'm above them or anything. And I'm straight, but hate shopping and getting my hair/nails done and various other girly things.

I do fit the stereotype in that I am pretty anti-social and weird.

I don't fit the stereo type at all! I'm lesbian and I'm underweight, I don't dress guyish at all, but I'm not girly either. eek

My best friends are primarily straight guys, so I suppose that isn't stereotypical for a queer guy.
I can't stand most of the "gay" music icons. I don't like Glee, I hated Rent, and am not into musicals in general. I'd generally much rather listen to metal than dance music, although there are some exceptions.
Rather than being flamboyant, I am not very expressive at all when it comes to my tone of voice and body language.
I have almost zero interaction with the gay community in my city, and have no interest in attending Pride events. (Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-Pride, it's just not my cup of tea.)

I do like to dress my avatar up in girly outfits, even though that's never been something I wanted to do in real life. I like to paint my nails when I'm bored. I'm sure there must be something else "stereotypical" that applies to me, but nothing else comes to mind at the moment.

I'm not feminine, and I'm gay xD *can't think of anything else*

Well, I've been sort of trying to fit certain sterotypes that may or may not signal I'm gay. I personally have been trying to emulate the "bishonen" look, so I'm growing out my hair and trying to get skinnier.
But at the same time, I don't really mind the stereotypes. I love music, theater, lots of "girly stuff" and some of the yaoi my friends mention. I don't really get why we have to say we don't fit the stereotypes, since if it's who I am, I want people to try to like all of me. Though I guess I wouldn't mind if they looked at me as just an individual, but, who can say they do that for really anyone they've just met?
Oh well, I'm sorry for blathering on.

yeah i would have written my own reply but that pretty much summarizes me as well 3nodding
i would also like to add that i love violent movies as well as video games. i'm not attracted to every person around me. my favorite genres of music are metal and alternative. and yeah i'm generally the opposite of flamboyant.

Uuuhhh. Well, I'm a little bi-curious but I don't go around and start screwing/making out with every girl I see. Nor am I a slut. lol I hear bi-curious girls are just sluts that like to go around and have sex. ^^; Which is true at my school, but I'm honestly just curious.

I'm a gay guy. But I don't really feel like i fit the stereotype at all, except for a few areas. I like guys, rainbows, I know nothing about cars or sports. but other then those few things I dont see myself as the typical gay... whatever that is?

Physically I'm kinda a Bear, big, hairy, rocking a kick a** beard! but I tried joining a bear community site and I dont really feel like i fit in there either... also im not exclusively attracted to bears cause hell, boys come in all shapes and sizes so why limit myself right? xd

If anything I am a Geek first and foremost! Video Games, Anime, Children's Card Games on Motorcycles. I just so happen to be a Geek that likes the boys.

"Gay" is part of who I am, but its not my entire Identity and lately it seems like people have a hard time understanding that.

well there is a difference between typical and stereotypical whee
yay anime and video games, hehe also yugioh abridged smile

many people apparently think that one part of your life no matter how big or small completely affects ones personality (basically stereotypes) so quite a few people think that for example all gay guys are effeminate, love musicals and glee, listen to only pop music, are attracted to every guy that walks past them, etc simply because they happen to like guys stare

I'm bi... admittedly I am a tad (ok pretty dang) girly, though I don't like to dress up in hot pink and powder blue... it just my personality... I don't talk like the stereotypical gay guy...

Um... I would love to get one or two ear piercings... but that would probably out myself to my parents, and that's not going to happen till I make enough to move out, or move in with my boyfriend....
