Just do your best when it comes to your section. Give good directions, but also be willing to listen to what others think as well. I was a section leader when I was still in high school. It was disorienting (of course, we didn't have to learn those fun signals you had to learn) at first, but I got the hang of it. My section was a little difficult to get them to actually listen to me, since they all knew what a pushover I was, but I was able to get them to know who's boss....I think. Don't follow my example on being a pushover. But listening to your section, and anyone else, for that matter, is the best thing to do. Always be open to suggestions from others, older or younger.
