Mixed breeds, rare breeds, mythical creatures, and unknowns dwell in the darkened cages of this shop. Slaves are either waiting for a new home, or another victim to claim to add to another one of their many hanis crimes. Cages are crowded with misfits and unwanted, and it reeks of death and waste. The clerk is a stalk man with a fat mustache on his lip.

Vash winces as his shoulder connects with the damp cement wall of his cell, lying breathlessly where the guard threw him without a second glance. Black spots obscure the edges of his vision and he laughs wryly as he pants for breath. His laugh echoes eerily through the otherwise empty warehouse, and Vash leans his head against the rough stone in defeat. His only comfort was the knowledge that it had taken several guards to take him down - two more once he'd slipped into the mansion's guard dog. They'd fought him for nearly ten minutes until one of the guards grew tired of his games and shot the dog right between the eyes, sending him back into his own body.
Vash rubbed his forehead as he remembered what it felt like to have a bullet pierce his skull, and he shuddered at the memory. No matter how many times he died as an animal, the memories always lingered - torturing him wih ghost pains as recompense for stealing another's life.
A screech from above broke Vash out of his thoughts, and he looked up to see his hawk perched on the upper bars of his cell. He chuckled and held out an arm for the creature as it slipped through the metal. Its talons dug deep into Vash's arm, the blood dripping down to his elbows, but he didn't care. He would heal soon enough. Besides, pain was a worthy price for company. His fingers ran over the bird's smooth feathers as he spoke to it in a low voice, murmuring it's name.
"A lot of help you were, Lucien. Flying off when I had need of you is incredibly rude."
The hawk screeched its disapproval and clenched its talsons tighter around Vash's arm. "Ah! Alright, alright. You're right, I didn't want you to end up like the dog either. Jeez, you're so sensitive - like a little girl."
Lucien merely screeched his reply and gripped Vash's arm tighter.

Aries sat in the back of a long limousine, waiting for his arrival at the slave shop. "Gerard, what is the estimated time till arrival?" he asked the driver, sipping on a glass of some sort of red blood. "Approximately ten minutes, sir." Gerard replied. Aries sighed, this trip seemed to be moving a lot slower than he had expected. Aries was unsure of why he wanted a slave, but knew that he would like a companion sort of person. The ten minutes went by dreadfully slow, but they finally arrived at the shop. Gerard opened his door, and quickly walked around the vehicle to Aries' door. Opening it, Aries stepped out, and stretched slightly. Placing his hands in his pocket, Aries enter the slave shop.
Looking up and down the rows of the shop, Aries came to ones cage. Inside was a rather cute boy and a hawk. Aries picked up the small clipboard, which was attached to the cage, and read it over thoroughly. Kneeling down, Aries examined the boy closely before tilting his head. "Hello." Aries stated, his voice deep, his accent heavy. Aries wasn't here to be playful and kind, he was simply here to retrieve a slave, and then leave.
Clearing his throat, Aries stood back up. Running through the pages of the clipboard once more, Aries looked around the shop, making sure no other slaves caught his eye. Not finding any other, he walked to the side of the cage, and leaned against the wall, placing one foot upon the wall and the other out in front of him. "So, tell me slave, what's it like being trapped in a cage?" Aries chuckled lightly. He was rude, yes, but nonetheless he already had this slave picked out to go home with him.
Aries took a moment to call Gerard. "Have the limo ready and waiting out front. I shouldn't be too much longer." he sternly stated. Gerard assured him the vehicle would be waiting, and Aries hung up. "Now, where was I?" he asked himself, "Oh yes, you." he then stated, applying the answer towards the slave he was talking to. Waiting for a reply, Aries lit a cigarette and inhaled deeply. "These things are gonna kill me, one day." he mumbled under his breath, and not directly towards anyone.

Vash scowled at the man lingering outside his cell, the oily smoke from his cigarette burning his nose with the scent of tar. The hawk screeched at him from the confines of the cell and released Vash's arm in favor of perching on his shoulder. The skinchanger flinched as the sharp talons slid out of his arm, pressing his palm to the wound to stop the bleeding while it healed. It stung like hellfire, but experience told him it would heal in a matter of seconds. He watched, mildly fascinated, as the skin began to knit itself back together. By the time the man was done rifling through his clipboard, the wound had completely healed - leaving only a series of puckered pink scars and an angry wash of blood in its wake. Vash glared at the bird, contemplating whether or not he needed a new feather pillow, until a deep voice caught his attention.
Crimson eyes stared blankly through the bars to find the same man crouched outside his cell. He was a demon, if the talons digging into his should blades were any judge, with burgundy hair and red eyes that mirrored his own. Vash narrowed his eyes as this new stranger continued to goad him - picking at his enslavement as though it were a joke. Then again, to him it probably was. He decided to play along for now, out of boredom if not curiousity.
"Well, I suppose you'll just have to come in here and find out. It's different for everyone you know." He shrugs and absentmindedly strokes Lucien's feathers. "Some slaves scream and fight to get out, others bide their time and wait for their next chance to escape. But me, I rather think of it like the deep breath before the storm." He plucks a single feather from atop the hawk's head and holds it up to examine it, watching as the light catches the maroon undertones and scatters them across the cell. "It's...tense."
His fingers release the feather and it floats gently down to the floor, where it stays as Vash stands. He crosses the damp cell in a few strides and leans against the bars closest to the door, eyeing the demon as though he were a potential ally...or enemy.
"But I'm sure you didn't come all this way to chat with the likes of me about my cell, now did you? So why don't you let me in on the secret. What does a demon like you want with a slave like me?"

Aries chuckled as the male inside the cage scowled at him. "Oh, no need to be feisty." Aries said, grinning. Inhaling the last bit of his cigarette, Aries put it out with the bottom of his shoe. Flicking the cigarette away from the cage, Aries sighed. "Ah. I guess I would have to join you in order to find out." Aries began, chuckling lightly. "But then again, it'd be much better if you were on the outside with me. Now, wouldn't it?" He then said. Pushing himself off the wall, and walking to the front of the cage.
Looking towards the door then back through the bars, Aries placed both hands in his pockets. "Ya know. I would certainly hate to be in such a place, and you may think you have me fooled with the 'I don't mind' attitude, but we both know you're just playing along with me." Aries stated bluntly. Leaning sideways against the bars, Aries peered upon the male, his eyes mirroring his own.
"Let's cut to the chase. I want you as a companion, not a slave, but a guest in my home." he said quite bluntly, beginning to notice a little commotion. One of the guards had been looking in their direction. They were beginning to wonder just what Aries was. A demon. The devil himself. They weren't sure, but they seemed to want nothing to do with him. Although, they kept staring. "So, it's up to you. Come easily with me, or I can use force, your choice entirely." Aries then added.

Vash scowled and eyed the guards down the corridor cautiously. On a good day, he could take them and maybe escape with a few bruises. But today, today he was weakened from being imprisoned and he doubted he could take Aries for even a second. He was trapped, and he knew it.
The skinchanger clenched his jaw and muttered something to Lucien, who screeched and leapt from his shoulder to disappear through the bar across the top of his cage. Vash backed away from the door and crossed his arms, watching him go with his back towards his future master.
"All freedom has its price, and I suppose being a guest isn't the worst payment you could demand. I will go without a fight...for now at least. But I suspect you'll soon find that skinchangers are a particularly troublesome race to pin down." Vash chuckles quietly at that and turns to face Aries, crimson eyes glinting with an unreadable emotion. He throws his hands up into the air in a mockery of defeat."Well, what are you waiting for? Clap me in irons. Let's get this show on the road, I've had about enough of this place."

Kiba Kiba was being escorted by the guards. His wings were clamped together. He knew what was going on. Kiba was about to try and get another piece of the guards before he was locked away. But he looked down at his arms, his arms were locked together. The guards soon knocked him unconscious so he wouldn't resist.
He woke up finding his legs were bonded together now by iron . Trapped inside an cell. The cell was Dark and damp, He didn't like it. Kiba closed his eyes and began to meditate . His hair started to spike up as he meditated. He sighed right after, "No way out huh. Well i better get used to new life here." he looked around the cell to see if anyone was watching him.

Lunara Solstice Mistress of Dragons
Lunara walked into the shop and started looking for someone suitable for her needs. Anyone with a sharp sense of smell could detect the scent of many dragons coming from her. "No one in here looks strong enough...." she sighed, before noticing a young man in one of the back cells. With wings, no less! She walked over to his cage to get a closer look, and her own keen sense of smell told her he was part dragon, although she couldn't identify what species. "Well, you look tough. And part dragon, am I correct? My name is Lunara Solstice. I'm looking for someone who can assist me in a few matters. Lately, I've been having some... trouble. Would you be willing to help?" she asked. Out Of Cookies:

One month. One bloody hell of a month Rena has been here, surviving the harsh treatment of the slaves. Heck some of the guards have a bet of how long she can last out. No masters or mistress had taken a glance of her, so her life was at the shop. Rena's ears twitched to her converstations taking place.
First by a demon and a skinchanger, both males. What exactly is a skinchanger? she wondered, looking at a woman who walked in, talking to another male slave. Rena growled in annoyence and swallowed the urge to scream her head off because no one was interested in her.

Lunara Solstice Mistress of Dragons
Lunara sighed. "Nice to meet you, Kiba. My estate is being targeted by demons, under the employment of one of my family's old enemies. Raids, attacks aimed to capture, not kill, that sort of thing. Luckily, we've been able to fend them off, but it's been getting harder." She smiled at his last question, showing her sharp dragon-like fangs. "I guess you could say that." she replied, her wings sprouting from her back. They were very much like Kiba's, only they were slightly smaller, and were a lovely bluish-indigo that faded to near-white as they reached the very tip. However, she quickly put them away again. Kiba Kiba listened to everything she had to say. "Okay, ill help. If it means getting me out of this place." Kiba broke the iron off of his wings. He then concealed his wings back in his chest. "These guards are stupid. Believing the iron can bind everyone." His wings went back inside of him. "Now that that part is over, I'm ready to help." Kiba looked back at his arms and his legs still binded. "After you actually buy me or the guards my get ancy and kill me for breaking out." Kiba laughed.

Lunara Solstice Mistress of Dragons
Lunara nodded and called one of the guards over. They talked for a moment, ending with her handing him the payment, and he unlocking the cage and all of Kiba's bindings. He tried to hand her a leash, but she refused it and sent the guard away. She smiled at Kiba. "Ready to go?" Out Of Cookies:

Kiba Kiba firstly relaxed his wrist and his ankles. He then got up and punched one of the bars of the cell off. The guard ran off in fear of kiba's strength. "Yea I'm ready to go." He smiled at her.

Lunara Solstice Mistress of Dragons
Lunara grinned and stuck out her tongue. "Then follow me! Hope you can keep up~!" she quipped, grabbing his hand and leading him out of the shop. She spread her powerful wings, which shimmered in the fading light of day. She let go of his hand and lifted herself into the air. Out Of Cookies: On to the Solstice Estate! I'll post there first.
