Well, the time had finally come. What seemed like a short time after the cat demon had dropped off her application, she'd been accepted into Amityville.
At least for her it hadn't been a long time. Work often kept her mind off things, so waits were never treacherous.
... Unless you were in a limo driven by a gnome.
"Slow the ******** down!" Riyo hissed as they took a sharp corner, her claws putting holes in the leather seat. She should've told him to go back where he came from when the sad excuse for a creature stepped out and opened her door, but no. She was anxious to get settled into her new place and decorate. A comfortable room was first priority, not safety. But... it looked like they were almost there, thank Jack.

After a day of boring classes, Shun was just heading on back towards his room. Mitsu would probably be meeting up with him soon for their usual study session. He was running a little late, so his pace was brisker than usual. However, he paused as he heard what sounded like a vehicle zooming nearby.
Actually, that vehicle sounded pretty damn--
Oh s**t.
Seeing the headlights out of the corner of his eyes, the Reaper's eyes widened before he dove out of the way of the limosine, rolling onto the grass. The maneuver hurt a bit, seeing how his body hadn't completely recovered from the major stress he had put it under recently. His hands were still wrapped in bandages as well.
"Jacking driver!" he hissed through his teeth.

It had been a task trying to make sure the reaper was resting. Mitsu was constantly afraid Shun was going to push himself further and hurt his body more. Once again she had shown up at his dorm, though she was a bit early, and no one was there. She stared with drooped ears at the door fearing the worst. Huff Puff....was he working out again?
Frantic that her friend was going to hurt himself she left his dorm not even bothering to call. She had a feeling she knew where she would find him. Just outside the dormitory though she heard the screeching of wheels on pavement and looked over just in time to see Shun dodge rolling away from a limo.
"Ah! SHUN!" Panicked the lycan sprinted from her current location over to where the reaper now laid in the grass. "Are you okay?" She asked leaning down to help the reaper stand, her gaze shifting back up to see where the vehicle had gone.

It was obvious the gnome was getting tired of his passengers constant nagging and insults, but he'd picked the worst possible time to turn around and say something about it.
"LOOK OUT YOU IDIOT!" Riyo screamed and pointed towards the front... Though it would've obviously been too late to stop.
Tires screeched, and the limo stopped abruptly (only after driving over where Shun had been standing).
Almost immediately the feline swung the door open and got out before the gnome could start driving again, her hair looking slightly disheveled.
With an obviously displeased look on her face, Riyo adjusted the top hat on her head and grabbed her fancy black suitcase from the seat. "Nice jump." She mumbled in the reaper's direction before staring daggers into the gnome as he hopped out of the car.
"Watch where yer walkin', pal." was the first thing he said, then directed his attention to Riyo. A small, stumpy little hand reached up and waited for something to fill it. Was he... Was he really?
"A tip?" Riyo scoffed, her arms folding at the mere suggestion. "Here's a tip. Find a new career, because come tomorrow you will be jobless."
Immediately looking away from the limo driver, the cat demon's crimson eyes fell upon Shun. "Nice jump."

Aside from almost getting hit, Shun was mentally cursing at himself for the sloppy landing. Had he been in top condition, he wouldn't have ended up on his back. What surprised him though, was that Mitsu had come rushing over to see if he was alright.
"I'm fine," he said gruffly to Mitsu while sitting up, glaring at the now-parked limousine. Was the driver trying to hit him or something? In response to the gnome's words telling him to watch where he was going, he just flipped him off.
His attention didn't stay on the car for too long as he noticed a familiar figure exiting to give the driver a peace of her mind.
"Thanks, I guess," Shun scoffed before gingerly getting up onto his feet. Seeing how there were no special events going on that he knew of, he could only assume that Riyo had made it into the school if she was here right now.

Shun's gruff tone of voice made Mitsu's ears fall back but it didn't keep her from trying to help him up into a sitting position. She just hoped he wasn't getting snappy with her.
Seeing that the limo had come to a stop Mitsu watched as a familiar face emerged, the feline demoness looking less than pleased with her driver. The lycan missed Shun's silent comment to the gnome who had been driving. Quietly she watched the feline and gnome exchange words before Riyo seemed to turn her attention in Shun's direction to compliment his dodging skills.
"H...hello again." Mitsu said softly, nearly a murmur. Their last meeting at the festival had been....interesting to say the least.
As the reaper stood so did Mitsu staying close to his side to make sure he really was okay. It wasn't that long ago since he had strained his body and she was worried he hadn't recovered yet.

The gnome's face contorted into that of rage when he was stiffed on the tip. He had driven that jackin' cat here without so much as a word to her complaints, without a single pumpkin seed to show for it! Ugh. It seemed like the rich bitches ALWAYS did that.
Aiming a glare at the reaper kid before he moved back to his car, the little limo driver appeared to back up harshly, making Riyo take a few steps away from the road. If that little b*****d had been a couple inches closer, he probably would've hit her.
... It was so hard to find good help these days.
"Hello." Riyo sighed as she watched the reckless gnome speed off in anger. There was no indication of shame or anger from the last time they had met, but that didn't mean she didn't remember. There were simply more important things to do besides talk about philosophy...
Speaking of which...
Turning her head left and right as if looking for something, the cat's brow appeared to furrow. "My things have not arrived yet." Which was, admittedly, her fault. For a fairly wealthy feline, she tended to be... Rather frugal. A pumpkin pincher...
That's what she got for hiring the cheapest moving company in town, which was most likely also staffed by gnomes. "Damn..." So much for getting an early start on decorating her new living space. If she had to sleep on the floor, there would be hell to pay.
It looked like Riyo had been about to say something to Mitsu, but a realization struck her. Glancing up to her hat, clawed hands reached up to lift the cranial decor and reveal...
The hazcat... Whom had apparently hidden under the hat when things got hectic. "Get off my head."
Felix, who still had the shakes from being flung this way and that, spread his wings and glided down to the ground, appearing to embrace it upon impact. "Meowr" came a happy sound from behind the mask, his claws digging into the dirt.
"So." Finally regaining the chance to address Mitsu, Riyo looked down at the lupine. "If you could kindly point me in the direction of the dorms, I'll be out of your way."

Another harsh glare was sent on towards the limo as it sped away before Shun rubbed his arm a little gingerly. He wasn't feeling so great after that dive, but he was doing what he could to appear that he was just fine. The Reaper didn't want to have to show any signs of weakness around this feline.
At least it seemed that he didn't half to talk, given how she was asking Mitsu and not himself. So, he didn't answer her. Instead, he just glanced over at the werewolf, standing by in the meantime with his bandaged fists stuffed into his pockets.

Mitsu watched as the little driver climbed back into the car and she cringed a bit when he pulled out nearly hitting Riyo in the process....he ....really shouldn't be behind the wheel.
With a bit of a sigh she turned back to Riyo as the feline lifted her top hat off her head and once again her mini pet appeared. Stiffening a little as the cat hit the ground Mitsu moved a bit closer to Shun in the mean time. Fear of cats....still a work in progress.
"Y-you would be going to the demon dorms right?" Mitsu wanted to confirm before she pointed Riyo in the wrong direction. All the dorms were fairly spread out. "T..they are over in that direction." She pointed. At least she had been to the demon dorms a few times so she really knew where they were. Mitsu's sense of direction wasn't always the greatest.
"So are you enrolled now?" She asked curiously, though the answer was probably obvious. Why would Riyo be heading to the dorms otherwise?

Riyo couldn't help but notice the tenseness Mitsu exhibited at the appearance of Felix this time, since she was looking directly at the lupine. Now what was that?
... It didn't matter right now. Glancing towards the direction Mitsu pointed, the feline's feet started to move that way. "Felix." She called the hazcat, who promptly fell in step behind her.
That is, until Mitsu asked her a question... And a dumb one at that.
Ears twitching, her head turned towards the wolf ghoul. "No Mitsu. I'm here on vacation, because the food and activities are so amazing here." Her sarcasm was subtle, because she spoke it in a matter-of-fact tone. Hopefully the ghoul would catch on...
At the pause, Felix couldn't help but sniff at the two strangers. Hey, these people looked familiar! Moving closer to give them a proper greeting, the hazcat tried to rub himself against the legs of both present. Surely he could lighten up the tenseness in the air.

Thinking that their business was done here, Shun was about to go on to the Reaper dorms, but it seemed they weren't leaving just yet as Mitsu asked Riyo a question. The answer was obvious but that didn't stop the Reaper from narrowing his eyes as the feline decided to be snarky about her answer.
Even so, he remained silent. Instead, he glanced down when he felt something rubbing up against his leg. He didn't have anything against cats in general and this one didn't look like it was about to pounce his face, so he didn't try to shoo it away. However, he did keep an eye on it. He knew well enough that Mitsu hadn't gotten over her fear yet so he was just keeping tabs on Felix to make sure it wouldn't make her too nervous.

While Riyo's tone was very matter of fact, Riyo's chosen words couldn't have made Mitsu feel any less stupid. Shrinking back a bit Mitsu hadn't noticed that Felix had decided to approach until she felt something brush up against her leg.
Looking down Mitsu froze on the spot, a hand reaching out to grab hold of Shun's sleeve like a life line. Her tail began to bristle a bit in her fear but she tried not to make any sudden movements. "N..nice...k-kitty.." Mitsu stuttered out stiffly.

When Mitsu didn't answer, Riyo was ready to walk away once again...
But... The reaction the lupine had to the nergal feline at her feet made her ears perk. It was then she realized...
"... Are you... Afraid of him?" She couldn't help but ask, her face looking awestruck.
Felix looked up at the wolf girl curiously as she stood up perfectly straight, having a seat in front of her. A quiet 'Meow?' echoed out, unblinking lenses trained on her face. Had he done something wrong?

Though Shun glanced at Riyo briefly, he didn't answer her. His focus was on the hazcat, which seemed fairly friendly. It seemed a little confused with Mitsu's reaction actually.
"Settle down," he uttered quietly to Mitsu. He doubted this one was going to hurt her. He supposed that he could be wrong, but he probably wasn't. The Reaper probably would have said more, but he felt that doing so would confirm Riyo's question.
And whether the wolf girl wanted that to be known, was not up to himself.

Mitsu almost let out a whimper when Shun told her to settle down. She tried to relax but with the cat so near by it was hard to do.
"A...afraid?" She stammered. While the fear was pretty obvious at this point Mitsu tried to shake her head. It was a very mechanical movement as she stammered out a reply of sorts. "N..no?" Yeah, that was a failed attempt at lying and Mitsu knew it.
