 Meroko stretched her wings, feeling the muscles extend and the blood rush in a flurry. They needed a good workout. She turned her pick eyes skyward, to the blue tone of the sky and the fluffed clouds. They looked like globes of whipped cream and the mare smacked her lips at them. She bent her knees, readied her wings. With one jump and one powerful beat of her pale-pink wings and she rose into the air. Her long mane billowed behind her and small red top-hat threatened to be swept off. But Meroko ignored it and with another powerful sweep of her wings she rose even higher. Higher still until the blades of grass simply looked like a puddle of green. She beamed in the sun and then looked about her as she hovered.
Her smiley mood was all due to a certain stallion she had...stumbled upon at the natural hot springs. The heat and the instant click they had lead to a...quick friendship.
But even as memories and squirming emotions threatened to make her loop in the air like a foal, she knew it was high time to find her old companions; Takuto and Mitsuki. She had lost track of them about two days again in their slow journeying and had spent that time with Dante.
Now, she probably should rejoin them. She began to fly west, which was the direction they recalled having headed with them before, and hoped to either spot them, or be spotted by them.

 Mitsuki had settled into the place that her and Takuto had found, she liked it here, it was near the water, and the forest was lush and green, and best of all she could sing whenever she wanted. Though something had changed...
She looked over to the path that Takuto had taken not too long ago and sighed. Her heart now raced at the sight of him. But every time it did she felt this wave of guilt, Meroko... She had loved him for a long time, it was not fair to look at him with those kind of eyes. Sighing again and closing hers, she had to try and not let him know, and never Meroko, shaking her head, her curls bouncing a little as she shakes off those thoughts. She only had to hope Takuto didn't know how her feelings had altered, she had loved him as a friend for a long time, but now....
Looking skyward as she sighs for the last time before heading inside, going back to organising the home her and Takuto had made. It was basic but neat. She settled down in the shade under the cover of the roof, waiting and thinking, wondering when and if Meroko would arrive, and what was going on back home...

 Takuto had gone looking for the days food, he still didn't totally trust this place yet and so he would ask Mitsuki to wait at home for him, when he was sure things were safer here he would let her come with him. He felt a little bad about that though, Mitsuki had shown herself to be surprisingly mature and self reliant in many ways, she didn't need him to baby her but he had a stronger desire than ever to look after her now. Though part of him still considered running away childish, was it really running away? Or was it leaving a place that she was miserable in hopes of more?
Looking up at the sky, it was clear blue, barely even one puff of white cloud. Finding himself wondering what the future held, looking out over the forest that hid the new home he and Mitsuki were starting to put together.

Mero-Mero's pink eyes were beginning to get heavy. She had been flying for a few consecutive hours now, and still seen no sign of her friends. Not that she had been extremely attentive - playing in the clouds, doing loops in the air, singing out loud. She was not looking very hard. She could always return to Dante's handsome, strong side if she did not find them, she reasoned with herself.
But she could not give up on Takuto! She would make him love her!
These sudden thoughts of her long, fruitless love struggle with the male Shinigami made Meroko's eyes burst open with determination. Her brow knitted and her smile had a sharp edge to it. Tensing her wings she took a breath and soared.
She shot from her high perch in those clear skies and swooped onto a lower level of air, flying straight and hard as her eyes now searched for the two she looked for.
It was not very long before she saw a familiar white jacket and a dark tangle of hair. A smile beamed on Meroko's pale pink face.
"TAKUTO! YOU STUPID CAT!" she boomed from her perch up in the sky. Waving her wings in joy and her common display as he looked up.

She had finished fussing around, they had already started to make plans for the winter, the shelter they had found would not stand up to a very cold winter, so already they had started to work out how to improve on what they had and make it a shelter for all 4 seasons. She wandered outside and checked the ropes that held the canvas taught, stomping a couple of the pegs to make sure they remained good and deep. When she was done with that she wandered into the shade and settled, closing her eyes. She had nothing to do while she waited and so she would nap, relaxing in the shade.

He froze, he had been away in thoughts of planning and a little more pleasant ones of a home with Mitsuki, he had forgotten that Meroko would come looking for them, well more for him he guessed, while the pink mare was fond of Mitsuki it was him she chased. Looking round finally, the yell he had heard, seeing her swooping in with her little wing wave. Not sure if she would land or not, though he expected she would... She would land and be all over him, at least that was his guess, she hadn't seen him for a while so who knew how much more this greeting would be. "Meroko!" Calling out, so she knew he saw and recognised her. Though he was glad to see her safe and sound he was dreading what he thought would come next. Watching to see if and where she would land.

She did a loop in the weightless air once his voice sounded up to hear, carrying the message of his recognition. Diving down at a steep angle, she made a show of spiraling toward the ground, bringing herself up just as she would have planted straight into the ground and into Takuto. Her head and upper body rose against the force of her dive and she leveled out, trotting still in the air, wings flapping. Letting go of her position above ground, she landed right on her feet with a small thump and smirked brightly at the cat Soquili standing before him.
"Be your are jealous!" she jeered, stepping closer to him and bringing her eyes to his, manes close enough to entangle. "Jealous you can't fly with your little amateur wings!"
Her focus rounded to the pack on his back with attached wings. Still not full grown. Still ground-bound.
"I also bet you missed me." she whispered with a knowing smile and a hit on his nose in joke.
