Hey everyone! I was wondering If i should do some weathering on my armour of EVA 00. Just my only concern is that the weathering dosnt suit the character, even though it gets in alot of intense scraps. What should i do??? Pics below of armour Full BodyAction Pose

Weathering would look nice. If you are wanting to stick to character, maybe not. It is purely choice on your part. (I know it sounds I am picking the easy way out lol) Just depends on what you are more about character/personal preference.

Yeah, I cant really decide.
Weathered armour: Shows real-aspects of detail, and adds detail and effort to the project. Looks pretty bad-a** too mrgreen
Non-weathered armour: Shows realism to the actual character, Keeps the similarity very close, adds a cleaner image to the armour. Still looks great blaugh

I say weather, but keep it simple and light. The character gets into fights and such, so there's going to be some sort of damage, but because it's anime, they don't usually show the damage unless it's super-intense.

I also had another idea. Since with weathering, the marks are like small scuffs, or not, I was thinking "why not make the weathered marks blood?" (if you watch Evangelion, you know there's a crapload of blood)
Plus another cool thing i found, is making a seran-wrap coating, with the weathered marks made of coloured tape, making it removable.

I would say do parts and pieces of it, but not the whole body that way it still gives an authentic feel while still making it look badass
