Careful steps made their way through the tall grass of the Savannah, however for someone of Hadiya's size the grass wasn't tall, which was a great disadvantage for him when it came to stalking others. The only was he could even try to conceal himself it by crouching down, and even then he was still about the size, or a tad higher, of a standing male lion.
Sighing, the rogue male stood in his place to scan the area around him. Everything seemed calm and normal enough. Some animals were settling in for the night while others were starting their nocturnal routine, though some stopped whatever they were doing to carefully watch him. Such was the life of a predator, always watching and being watched.
"Not yet. Not just yet..."
With that said, Hadiya continued on his way to the local watering hole. Hopefully tonight would run smoothly, hopefully.

Kipekee was small she was always the smallest she was the runt of her family something she never really grew out of. She didnt mind it, infact she liked it; well sometimes. You can only ever loved something so much before it gets well, annoying. Kipekee stared at her reflection in the watering hole, her face illuminated by the moon.
Kipekee stared at her self wondering what was wrong with her. Was it her pelt? Her Color? It seems where ever she went she would scare off the other animals around her; sometimes she wondered if she would ever have a friend or even a mate...
The dark lioness layed with a sigh on the shore looking at the moon in the reflection in the watering hole. "Whats wrong with me..." She glanced up from the watering hole to the stars, she knew one day things would change when?
That was something only the Gods knew.

Hadiya carefully made his way over to the watering hole, his eyes shooting in every which direction to make sure it was safe to take a drink. Though he knew his size scared some, he also knew that if desperate or just plain dumb, some would be foolish enough to try and jump him, and that was the last thing he needed to start off a so far peaceful night. While everything seemed safe enough, he couldn't help put pause at the sight of the lioness whom was also resting at the watering hole. She didn't look threatening, but one could never truly tell.
",,,"
Giving a silent sight, the male edged his way over to take a drink, his senses on guard in case the other wanted to try anything. Though, something told him she wouldn't. It wasn't until he really got a good look at her that he noticed the saddened air around her.
Normally, Hadiya wouldn't bother with others' problems. It was just too troublesome. But this time he just had a need to ask.
"Is something depressing you tonight?"

Kipekee was so lost within her own thoughts and self-loathing she hadnt even noticed the rather large lion approach. She hoped up onto her paws; Oh sorry i didnt see you~~" Her tone was meloncholy and she kept her head down.
"No, I'm fine its nothing important." She gave a false smile but it was the best she could muster up, she wasnt that great at talking to others. Kipekee looked at the male, "Beautful night isnt it?" She said as she turned her gaze back to the stars and the moon the hung over their heads. "Did you want to drink in peace, if so i can leave." The lioness still spoke with a saddened tone.
Kipekee didnt really want to leave but she already had been acustomed to doing as others asked and she neer really knew how to stand up for herself. She always felt like the oddd one out with everything she did she couldnt shake the feeling.

The large male cocked his head to the side at the female's actions. It was clear, a little too clear, that the female was lying and doing her best to but on a mask of happiness, but Hadiya didn't want to bother pushing the subject. If she didn't want to talk about it, then she didn't want to talk about it, which was all too fine with Hadiya. It wasn't as if he was the greatest person to go to when it came to comfort. Yes, he would listen, but he was someone who was just a tad too gruff in his ways, too blunt and unsympathetic in a sense.
"I suppose it is, if you are one who likes to pay attention to the night sky." he shook his head at her offer while keeping to his spot.
"There is no need to leave, miss. I am not one to go chasing other off or anything. After all, I am the one who approached and stayed knowing you were around, so I am the one who intruded on you if you want to get technical. So stay if you wish. It isn't as if you are bothering me or anything."

Kipekee smiled not many lions seemed as friendly as he did although he didn't look friendly at all. But unlike most lions he didn't just brush her off. The pink female was always self conscious about herself. She was always so small her own family picked on her. Sometimes she wondered if she was ever meant to truly fit in. Then she would meet someone just like the lion in front of her that showed her not everyone was bad.
"Why wouldn't you look at something so beautiful?"She said referring to the stars, with a bit of a heavyhearted tone. What she really meant was, 'Why cant i be as pretty as the sky' But of course she would never say that.
"Thank you for not chasing me off.... i think..." She said unsure weather the large male was being friendly or just didn't care. She hoped she wouldn't start to bother him. What would he do if she did? Would he chase her? Should she stop talking? Kipekee grew very nervous she didn't want to be mean but she didn't want to annoy him. Perhaps she was just over thinking but did she didn't want to risk it?
"So are you from around here?" She spoke before she even finished thinking.
