Never not patrol day, it seemed.
Through, for the girl under Hesperis, any reason to be out of St-Mags' was a good reason, so she was more than glad to use her knight-ness as a reason slide out. She could only truly sneak out when Erika wasn't around, just to be safe, but she was spending most of her time with her brother lately.
She missed her, true... So she tried to fill the void with beating s**t up.
So far, there hadn't been any of that. She'd stopped for a slushie - the city really ought to give them a discount, after all, they were cleaning it ! - and then she continued on her way, sipping along as she walked the sidewalk.

The energy was different, she hadn't felt anything quite like it before... it wasn't 'them'... it wasn't a corrupted Senshi... it was just... different.
She halted in her tracks, turning and casting about in hopes to see what was creating this strange feeling, her hand drifting towards her brooch out of pure caution.

The source of this strange energy was doing little to hide herself, really, sipping on her cool drink without much of a care in the world, her own weapon not even summoned.
The only thing she felt was something she'd felt once before - With Marcela... Asclepius... Senshi aura. Nothing to fear here, right ? Nope~
The girl frowned suddenly. "Brainfreeze..." She muttered. God damn this always happened.
Damn her uniform for being so warm.

MuCephi blinked, what else was there to do... it...Almost looked like a Nega, but for the colors, they were far too bright, and she didn't -feel- the same.
"I... excuse me" She said cautiously. "...What..-are- you?" She asked glancing her over.

She looked up then, to see that the senshi was like... right there. And looked like she'd just escaped from a goth-lolli shop.
Pretty, but not Hesperis' tastes, really. She'd destroy anything fancy and frilly in 10 seconds flat.
"Im a knight." She said, still struggling with the apparent... newness of her kind. Asclepius hadn't been sure what to make of her either. She wasn't sure what to make of this, really.
It was kind of scary to think she might be one of the firsts.
"And who are you ? Im Hesperis."

"Knight..." She said sounding surprised and curious, and a little relieved. It might have been a trick name but the feel of the girl at least said otherwise.
"...MuCephei..." She replied carefully. "Senshi, but a Poor one I fear." She admitted turning just a bit red in the cheeks. It seemed everyone had surpassed her in skill and power.
"Sorry I just... I have never seen a knight before. If it weren't for...well your colors and the feel of you I might have thought..." She shook her head. "Well.. I mean."

"I dunno... You feel pretty strong..." It was hard to place her on a scale, but she felt about as strong as Niflhel had felt... Whatever that meant in senshi terms.
Hesperis pouted. "Seriously ?" Honestly, she saw no comparison howsoever. "Im not an a*****e." ... "Well, not that much of an a*****e."

"You're not a senshi either." She pointed out. "I'm not so used to seeing anything but, Negaverse people, Senshi and Cats...and Kurma. Your uniform is pretty... well military-tron-eskimo too but when you see more nega's you might see why, it's not intended to offend." She said carefully and folded her hands thoughtful.
"I'm.. a super senshi, but most of the people who started when I did have become Eternal already, so... I'm sure that says something about my skills." She said with a small nervous laugh.

"Hm." She didn't like to think about it, but she had to admit... The one agent she had fought... Well, she hadn't seemed to have a weapon, but she didn't look like a senshi at all.
"I like my uniform." She said with a nod. "It's pretty hot, but... The one time I went to Mercury, it came in handy..."
That might not come as a surprise if Mu had been keeping close attention - the symbol of Mercury was right there, on the small glowing stone at her neck.
"That's like saying im not good at all just because I know a knight that's stronger than me." She clicked her tongue, then took a sip. "That's a little silly, don't you think ?"

"Not nessisarily...it just means that they have learned more than you." She said with a smile. "I know my friends have, they fight better, and with more clarity of purpose...well most of them." She said introspective. Even Ares could be considered to have 'clarity' even if she didn't agree with it...but others seemed...
Well, she should worry about what -she- was trying to be first...right?

She didn't like this senshi pulling herself down like this - the world would be more than happy to do it for her, so Hesperis saw no reason to have the girl join in herself, but what could she truly do about it ?
Not much, really. Perhaps this one would find her own path, in time.
"What do senshi do, anyway ?" She asked. "I've fought with one once, but... It was confusing for the both of us, I think."

"Well...we..." She hesitated. "We fight the negaverse, we're apparently here to rid the world of Chaos...but, to be honest I think many of us are chaotic too, we're not organized like they are and...maybe that's part of what makes us who we are."

"Chaos ?" What's a chaos ? She certainly never heard about that... "Im told... that I should protect people. Kill youma. Make sure no one get hurt, and if that means I need to fight the negaverse..." She shrugged. "I will."
Her beliefs were, well, Camelot's beliefs, for not. The oldest knight was most likely the closest she had to a father figure, as sad as it was to think about it.
"Everyone else... The civilians... They shouldn't be involved in this. They have nothing to do with this war... Right ? Then they shouldn't be part of it. So I want to protect them. That's what I believe."

"I want them safe too..." She said wistful, she thought of Daniel then, that he knew...that he'd been targeted. She prayed he wouldn't be again but there was no way to be utterly sure.
"I never told my family what I ...am, but I did tell a friend...a close friend."she said close like it really meant something.

'Close', hm. Well, it certainly wasn't her place to pry, wasn't it ? The senshi felt she could trust this friend and that was it.
It reminded her that she had to tell Erika... Maybe... She still wasn't sure she should. "Only one person knows who I am." She said, taking a sip of her iced drink. "And that's because I, uh." She frowned a bit in thought. "...Became Hesperis in front of him."
A thought was all it took for her weapon to come forth, the staff looking and glimmering much like ice but in fact being wood. "...This thing came in front of me... I took it and... BAM ! Suddenly I can jump buildings. Nuts."
Another sip. "...How does this work for you guys, anyway ?"
