* The Story * * Congratulations! You, along with five other teenagers, have been trapped in an abandonned theatre. Not a movie theatre, but a theatre with an actual stage. Like an Opera House, or a Broadway Stage if you prefer. You have no idea how you got there, and you have no idea who these other teenagers are. All you know is that the building is old, dusty, and in need of repair. As you look around, you see a figure on the stage, clad all in black. As you move to get a closer look, the figure, a man, speaks.
"Welcome, my darlings, to Nightingale Theatre. I am 'Phantom', your Master. This place used to be among the most famous in the world, surely you've heard of it? This theatre's main productions were most commonly ballets, and the occassional musical. There were six main performers here: Eleanor Vivaldi, Vincent Ramirez, Amelia Rose, Jack Caruso, Maria Rouge, and Elliot Moore. What do these six fabulous people have to do with you? Why, you are their ancestors, of course! And it is for that precise reason that I have brought you here today, to serve the rest of your lives as my slaves and companions! It's no use trying to escape. There are no exits! And even if you were to somehow get out, I would always find you again... Enjoy your stay!"
With that said, the man disappears with a wave of his cloak. Wonderful. So you and six other teenagers are doomed to spend the rest of your lives with this freakazoid with some kind of grudge against the theatre. Do you wonder why? I know why, but I'm certainly not going to tell you. You have to figure that on your own. A good mystery is always fun, so that's what I'll be providing you with! Your mission: Figure out who this guy is, what he has against the Nightingale Theatre, and a way out. Easy, right? Then get started. *

+ The Setting + + This "Phantom" figure has brought you all to an old abandonned building called the "Nightingale Theatre". It seems to have some historical value, other wise it wouldn't have been left alone for hundreds of years as it has been. There are multiple stages scattered in different rooms in the huge building, and the inside of the building has been kept in good shape, surprisingly, considering it's age of over one hundred years old. Sure, it's dusty, but nothing's falling apart... yet... and there's even food! Lucky you! You won't starve. There's also running water, with bathrooms that have showers. It's odd, really, how the famous theatre has been practically turned into some kind of mansion. Easy to get around in, too. Won't get lost too easily. The interior of the building is truly amazing, very beautiful. It won't be so bad living here, will it? +

{~} The Rules {~} {~} I can really only give you the basic rules of role playing here...
1) This is supposed to be a mystery RP, but romance, violence, and all of that other delicious drama is allowed. No, it's ENCOURAGED! Because drama is delicious. Just kee it PG-13, 'kay?
2) Besides the Phantom, there are only SIX characters
3) Character ages should range from 16-18
4) Profiles should be PM-ed to me, under the name 'I Am Number Six' and put a heart in there to show that you're actually reading these
5) I shall add or change the rules at any moment however I see fit!
6) And last, but not least, have fun! {~}

It definitely has potential, but your wording does not match the theme of the roleplay. This is a mystery roleplay - you said it yourself - so, it's hard to take it seriously with the overly cheery tone. Don't write it as if you yourself was speaking it, write it like this Phantom was saying it, or an old, age-hardened person. The tone of the narrator needs more oomph than what you've written. Do you understand?
I also say some grammatical mistakes, and some typos. When re-wording this, make sure to re-read through it carefully.
Other than those things, you might want to describe who these ancestors are. I had no idea who they were...
If they are real people, maybe have a link to some kind of web page with information on them. If they aren't real people, you still need to add some description on them. It just seems like you added them on a whim, that's all. Being descriptive is good, especially if they are an integral part of the story (which they are). You can still be thorough with your information and it still being a mystery.
So, that's what I suggest you fix up, 'kay?

I just wanted to add, along with Katty's words, that you may need to include some sort of direction for the characters. As it is now, I imagine the characters would simply be lounging around, sure, freaked out, but without really having anything to do. I assumed that the Phantom would be having them perform? But it was never written out. So, are they going to be forced to perform? And if so, is the Phantom going to be the only one in the audience?
Don't be too discouraged - all roleplays need a bit of work, and this roleplay sounds like it has a lot of potential to it! In fact, I can see already that I might easily be one to join in!
It's good to see members adding more roleplays! It's what makes NNR go 'round, after all!
