 Ear buds in her ears, roller blades tied tight, hair secured in a scrunchie, she was ready to go. She pushed herself to her feet, mp3 player in hand and scanned through her songs looking for her favorite one. After a few moments of searching she found it, selected it, and clipped the small player to her belt. She pushed away from the bench she had only moments ago occupied and stood still, head bobbing to the beat as the song began, eyes closed. The song began to pick up and she was off, skating through the small square just outside the pound doing spins in time with the beat.

 A hum escaped the man's lips as he gracefully twirled into a spin and proceeded onward with his dance. Most would be quick to call him 'queer' for enjoying dance as much as he did but such a remark bothered him not. He was kind in his own way to most he met until they had wronged him. It wasn't that tooth-ache sweet though. He held distance between himself and others emotionally.
Another spin and then an flick of his wrist and the fan he held opened. He hummed some more and softly began to sing. Each step was precise and well practiced. Each note sweeter than the last. It was what lured people into his life. However his personality, the distant nature, drove them away.
