The night was cooler than those who had preceded it, which was a god sent for Fluorite. Gathering energy and training was a pain in the a** when all you wanted to do was curl up and die.
Now she'd taken place on top of a relatively short skyscraper, taking a break as it were, sipping from her water bottle when she heard it. The aura of a General nearby was of no stess to her at all, even if it seemed relatively close.
Until she heard the scape of a boot on the concrete. The clink of glass. One eyebrow raised, and then she got up quicker than he might expect her to be, tossing a knife in the air.
The bomb hadn't gotten very far from it's thrower when the knife hit it, then fell to the ground along with the pieces.
"Good evening to you too, General."
Proud of herself ? Very. She was getting better... even if she prefered to use them as daggers.

He stood too, quick enough he nearly tipped his tea over, not fast enough to replace the mask that he had pulled down. He squeezed his eyes shut and waved his hand vigorously trying to clear the smoke but it was too late, he'd already breathed deep of his own noxious attack. Eyes watering and hissing curses through clenched teeth he pondered the ultimate ramifications of dangling her off the edge of the roof by her bootstraps for a few glorious moments till the wind shifted and the air cleared.
"Well...I see your reflexes are coming along nicely..." He said as soon as he could manage enough air without coughing or trying to rid himself of the tea he'd already partaken of.
"Well Done.." he said though it sounded perhaps half sincere, maybe a little irritated at being hit by his own smoke.
"I hear two things... " He continued eyeing his now ruined tea disdainfully. "I hear you killed a senshi... and I hear your brother has seen better days, any connection?" There was a slight -tease- in his voice as though she might be the reason for her Brother's at least rumored injuries.

Fluorite couldn't help but smile, a little too sweetly, through the whole episode, unaware of that fate Zinkenite had been pondering for her...
Through, really, that meant catching her first.
As he spoke, through, her smile vanished and her lips pulled into a thin line. "And what exactly are you trying to insinuate ? I am not careless enough to injure my own brother."
Fluorite was not amused.
"But... Yes. On both counts."

"Wouldn't say -careless-..." he said arching an eyebrow at the tea. "Just implying that not... ALL family relationships are 'easy'... you ruined my tea." He scowled at her. "I should make you drink this..." He swirled the tea in the cup watching the almost oily residue that coiled on top of the once amber contents.
"...DO clarify though... I'd love to hear of your first Kill, and I'd appreciate knowing how badly hurt your brother is...does he need any special care? Is he ... out of commission?"

"With all due respect, General, you were the one who threw that bomb." She rose one eyebrow. "I'll buy you tea later..."
It was so easy to see Matthew react in the same exact way, which was... endearing.
"The two are a little... enterwined, through not in the way you're... presented." She shook her head. "He got his rib broken by a eternal senshi when out hunting pages with Painite... They'd almost had said page, from what I gather. So... broken ribs, some bruises and scratches."
It could have been worse. She had to keep telling herself that.

He paused only a heartbeat after her point that =he= had thrown the smoke bomb...before he tossed the tea at her.
"Which...Eternal Senshi?" He asked without missing a beat as he paused to fumble with the thermos he had brought with him to pour a fresh cup, almost a challenge for her to ruin -that- one too, though perhaps ill advised to attempt it.
"...Though if it's the dead one... at least I'd like it for my files that we have one less a**-winged wonder to worry about."

She only calmly side-stepped the tea wave, through if she had really wanted to be a b***h.... She still had one knife, tucked in her sash.
She might have been able to knock the thermos out of his hand, but if she missed... Yeah. She had no want to slice his hand open, so the bit down the urge.
"I wish." Seriously. Taking down a god damn eternal ? Yeah. That hadn't occurred to her the time she had hatched her 'plan' through. "I don't have his name. Black coat, huge asswings, glasses, pale blonde hair. That's what I've been able to gather."
"I... tried to lure him out. With a normal senshi." She said, not exactly wanting to talk about it. "Since he came out when a page was in danger... It... didn't work. I got angry and.... I ripped his starseed."
At the time, it had come so easily. But the sight of the male's dead body had made her blood run cold.

He set the thermos down carefully and replaced the lid to preserve his tea...there was a considering, calculating look in his glacier blue eyes...cold, icy and distant.
"...Themis...." he said almost a growl after a moment. "Unless I miss my guess." He might very well have added //which I doubt// from the tone in his voice, but even with what Ego he possessed it hadn't progressed quite far enough to stroke his own vanity that much.
"Gone eternal has he?" His teeth gritted together for a moment and then he took a sip of tea, a deep breath and he exhaled slow and long. "...Fayalite nearly killed him once... I might consult with her. If he is going to be a...problem. I'll look into it myself once my current tasks are laid to rest... how does that sound to you?" He offered though it perhaps hardly mattered given their differences of rank.

Fluorite's eyes widened. No one had been able to give her a name so far !
And there it was. Themis. She now knew what she was looking for.
A part of her wanted to say that no, the b*****d was hers... But that was the wrong way to take it and she knew it.
"Feel free. The b*****d deserves to get his a** handed to him."

He watched her expression amused, as though to say 'go on... give me a -hard- one.' "You look surprised... this is what I DO captain. I collect people weather they know it or not."
He sipped his tea and looked thoughtful. "... So... you're first Senshi, you seem...bothered." He said carefully.

"No one else even knew who the damn b*****d was, and the board had nothing... So.." So she was looking stupid. Nothing new here.
"...It wasn't what I wanted it to be." She said. "I lashed out in anger... It... should have been different."
Stammer through this as she might - she couldn't hide what truly had bothered her about it. The guilt. She'd felt no better than the blood moon court.

"Mmm... I've been moving things into the War room...it's not ready yet I'm afraid...and my information on him comes only from my Captain, which isn't so much a problem, it's only that when anger is involved I like to have the information confirmed...you never know what people will forget."
He paused and reached to put a hand on her shoulder. "...you didn't let him suffer...and you didn't let him kill any of US...do not... let this eat you alive." He said quietly.

God damn, she hadn't wanted to talk about this. She really hadn't. Maybe she should have kept the starseed longer, as dangerous as it was. The rumors were spreading too damn quickly.
"...Does me it make me weak.... To feel bad ? I know I've done what I had to... But I feel... I feel..." She bit down her lip, knowing that tears were already forming at the corner of her eyes.
She felt horrible. She felt like she couldn't talk about this to anyone, else she might be ridiculousness for her weakness. The two persons she could have talked about this...
The first would likely have bad memories surge back in the forefront, and the last thing she wanted to do is cause Scheelite pain.
Alunite... had his injury, had to recover, had so many other things to worry about that made her own problems seem insignificant.

War is terrible... " His words stumbled at the end, the crack in his armor, the c***k in the emotionless visage, a crack in the mask...

He reached out afraid to touch her like it might turn the water works on in full. He wanted to soothe her... make the wavering wetness in her eyes go away again because he had so little idea of how to deal with such things.

It was rather uncertain was truly helped, the words or the emotion under them, something she had perhaps never thought she might find there, but what truly mattered was that something had.
Another sniffle, but then she seemed to calm again - most likely thankfully for Zinkenite's sanity. "R-Right..."
Silence, but then she shook her head. "I guess I was just hoping that... no one was talking about it yet."
