Biography: Hmm, not too much to it, sadly. Ari was born in Iclea Town, where it's figgin' cold all the time. For the most part, she would go around with any kids in the town and play in the snow. On occasion she would help her father out carrying wood back from the groves of trees for fires to heat up the house. Yeah, they had electricity, but nothing beats a warm fire on a cold day. The big highlights were when she got to sometimes accompany her older sister when she was working or when her mother would take her to watch a contest. Not only was her sister's Houndoom awesome, but the Pokemon she saw in contests were amazing. She decided that she wanted Pokemon of her own, to do everything there was to do in Etrua. Her dad took a lot of convincing, but eventually she got to go. At the very least he made her take the train down with her sister.
Once she started her journey, she met and quickly befriended Sebastion the Lucario and his small companion Red the Torchic.
Personality: She's friendly and warm, but her worry over what others think often causes a bit of shyness to come out. Since she's just began the journey that will help to define her life and who she is...she's bound to change and get stronger. Hopefully.

Goal: SO MUCH STUFF ALDHJHAKFDHASGD. Basically, Contests -Champion would be nice-, Beat the Gyms and the Elite Four -once again, Champion would be nice-, and basically all around just have a great time with a bunch of Pokemon. Yeah, she's naively ambitious. Ain't it adorable?

Biography: In case you hadn't figured it out already, I'll spell it out for you: Rue is Ariel's older sister. There, that being said... Rue grew up, of course, in Iclea Town. Her life was relatively normal, not unlike Ariel's, up until she was, oh, say five years old. Being a relatively adventurous kid, Rue wandered up the mountain on her own. Of course, it didn't take too long for her to get lost. Her father, knowing the area, found her after quite a few hours of 'I know I've seen that snow-covered rock before'. By that time it was late, so they camped out in a hole dug into the snow. Now, that would have been all well and good, if there hadn't been a rather rambunctious group of Houndour nearby as well as an Abomasnow that had not gotten enough sleep the past night. Long story short, there was an Avalanche, and Rue and her father may very well have not made it out alive had a Ranger not been nearby. The Ranger, who had befriended plenty of strong Ice Pokemon from the area, easily stopped the Avalance upon realizing Rue and her Father were in danger. The Ranger quickly calmed the Abomasnow, then rounded up the Houndour. She -it was a female Ranger- explained to Rue's Father that she had come on on request of a very distraught Houndour breeder, who had been 'passing through' and lost sight of his Pokemon. To calm the breeder, as well as make sure that the Houndour did not do themselves and any others harm, the Ranger had agreed to find them.
Needless to say, after that Rue wanted to be a Ranger. Because the one that saved her and her Dad was so cool. After the incident, as an apology, the breeder gave Rue a Houndour -he must have felt pretty terrible- and, with the Houndour as her partner, she began training to become a Ranger. Before long it evolved into a Houndoom, and she had earned the right to do jobs for the Rangers; they were very grateful to have someone new stationed in that region of Etrua. Before long, Rue's little sister Ari started talking about getting her own Pokemon and taking the Championship Challange, or whatever it is they were calling that. Rue had also received notice that there was an influx of activity down near Blyse and the Rangers -still relatively low on hands- needed some help. Rue accompanied Ari on the train ride down from the Town before heading off for Ranger HQ.
On the way there, however, she heard wind of a rare dragon egg that had been stolen from its parents by some shady character or another. She confronted the perpetrator, and got the egg back, though the criminal got away. Why did he get away? Because he instigated a massive rock slide -they were on a cliff face at this point, you see- which Rue got caught up in. Her Houndoom sacrificed himself to save Rue, who was in turn rescued from a long fall to the bottom of the cliff by the egg's parent, a Dragonite. No wonder the guy had tried to steal the egg. Rue urged the Dragonite to bring her back to the pile of rocks that lay over her friend. With its help she uncovered her Houndoom's body, but it was too late. Not even a Revive could save him. The Dragonite, feeling Rue's sorrow, carried her and her Houndoom to Asude so he could be buried. She saw the girl's devastation and allowed her to keep her egg, knowing it would be in good hands, before she left.
P.S.- Don't tell Ariel the Houndoom is gone. Who knows how she'll take it.
Personality: Relatively confident (the comparison being to her sister), Rue is the kind of person who often says what's on her mind, so she can be rather blunt sometimes.

Biography: You know how there's this time in a kid's life where they go off on their big Pokemon adventure? Yeah, June missed it by a mile. Partly because she lived in Hoenn up till she was about six, when her parents had to move because of some big job opportunity in Kanto. Her dad's an acrobat and her mom's a professional swimmer who does this neat water show with a bunch of Pokemon. See, this was easy in Kanto since Cerulean, the place that was, you know, big on water, was fairly close to Saffron, the city more than big enough to house the kind of shows her father was in. Apparently they left some friends behind, though.
Anyways, aside from the moving bit, June didn't really want to go off on an adventure. She liked practicing with her dad and mom; after all, they had pretty neat jobs. She found out eventually that Pokemon battling was just as fun as all that, not to mention awesome. Except her parents were a bit iffy about it, until they got to talking with their old friends from Hoenn and bam! an idea struck. Their friends had a kid about June's age, so why not have them travel together? Maybe they'd even get to liking each other, and wouldn't that just be swell? Anyways, in order to let the kids feel 'independent' they decided to allow them to head off to the Etrua Region and meet each other there.
Personality: A bit competitive, June likes to have fun. She sometimes misses things, however, when she gets wrapped up in her own thoughts.
