Ok, yes, I'm well aware there are other topics discussing this particular subject, but I'm a lost cause when it comes to hypnotization and the like. The reason I say this is because I tried a week or so ago to use hypnotization to contact my guardian. (( Long story, Azana knows it all... )) However, the only things I ever got through the process and in my dreams were small instances of contact with my guardian that went fairly wrong and involved pain.
I sought out an old friend of mine to hypnotize me in the hopes that if I went deeper then projection and visions to see if I could clear things up. It didn't go as well as I had hoped and I actually turned out harming my friend. He said that I lashed out, speaking in what sounded like Latin and punched him. I'm against attempting hypnotization again since I harmed someone once and fear it'll happen again. I eventually cleared up everything with my guardian and he is now by my side as he should be, but I remember seeing things during the hypnotization session that seemed familiar but I know I had never done before. For a long time, I've been fascinated by the Japanese and cultures like it, but never have I been to Japan. However, I saw myself there while hypnotized. Brief visions of it though.
Another of my interests is archery. Ever since high school when I found out in Spring we'd do a unit in Gym of archery, I was excited and picked up at it like I had done it my whole life. Every hit of the target brought a sad feeling though. As if the hit into the target was hitting me in some way, or someone else. Normally, I'm against harming people, but when I would fire at the target, I always steadied my breath, used both eyes to aim, held the bowstring to my lip and aimed higher then the bullseye. These are actions of a seasoned pro in archery. Not one arrow was outside the second circle. (( The one just outside the bullseye. )) Even my teachers made comments on how I must've taken lessons; but I had never picked up a bow before that. It lead me into looking into Regression to see if I could find out why I was so good. The only answer I could think of was that I was an archer in another life. Ever since then, I've played games and such, I'm a video game-aholic, that involves archery and all my characters are always archers or Mages. It's second nature to me almost. So, this explanation brings me to the questions:
Has anyone else had the troubles I do when it comes to looking into things that would require hypnotization?
How did you overcome the troubles?
I'd appreciate any help that anyone can offer. Well, thanks for listening.

I've never been hypnotized, so, no. I hope that if you do any more hypnosis, self or assisted, they'll turn out better than in the past. v.v
That's pretty cool, about the archery, though. 3nodding I've always loved the idea of archery, yet I've never touched a bow, not even seen one in real life.
I'm not particularly interested in my own past lives (I prefer to live in my own life), yet if there is something in the past that's happened that affected me how I am now, then I'm really interested. Such as my therianthropy, for an example.
But, I've never seriously meditated, nor have I induced self-hypnotization, yet I'd love to have some sort of past-life regression sometime.
I'd love to learn hypnotherapy, yet, I don't know how... at all. I'll attempt asking my parents to go to a library, but all the one's I've been to have crappy books on the supernatural. Ah, also, Azana mentioned sometime of an astral library... I'd love to go there... if I could AP at all. T-T (I'm less experienced and less 'powerful' [for lack of a better word] at psionics than I think I am... -sighs- ...)

I love archery. I could spend hours losing time out on a range firing away. And I've been told I have an uncanny knack to spot imperfections in bows and that I can tell people if they will hit the mark from about 70 feet away. I'd watch them fire and before it hit I'd go "Third circle." Sure enough, it was in the third. -sighs- Now I wish I had an archery range in my backyard...

are you sure it was japan you were in?
you said you lashed out speaking wat sounded like latin *thinks of gealic and indo-european*
I have actually never meditaited so I can only imagine how hard self hypnosis would be and I dont even know my guardian yet : p.
maybe you could ask your guirdian for help or ask him/her if they knew you in a previous life?

The art style of the building I saw and the woman in the kimono gave it away mostly. I spoke with Than (( My guardian. )) and he said he has no recollection of my past lives and if he did, the information he had would be different since he has not always been my guardian. Appearantly, something happened to my first guardian. I'm still unsure of the language; I know a bit of latin, so it could've been that. But I'm more concerened how I lashed out and why I was speaking that way is just part of it.

Y'know.. I have an obsession over sharp objects, Japanese ones more though, Like Katana's, And martial arts, and i love the Bokken, and i have a pair of nunchakus and with little practice it feels like i've had them my whole life

Hypnotic operators need to be ready for anything...but I didn't even see that one coming. I'm surprised he didn't put in the fail safe; usually, you can give the suggestion that if an emergency comes up that you'll awaken.
I remember, one time, that my phone went off mid session...how embarrassing. No one calls me, like ever, and they choose that as a good time.
Anyway, I'm sure you'll have better experiences. I, unfortunately, can't give you a session unless I record it and send it your way, but self-hypnosis might be a good area of study if you want to dabble.

I don't know if he had any failsafes set or anything of the sorts, but if he did, the failsafes could've used a failsafe. And I'm a little against trying again. Once a bad situation happens around me, it tends to linger for about a year or two. Good ole me; the bad luck magnet.

Hypnosis is very safe, if done properly...there should be no reason to fear. If he noticed your change, he should have done a quick pull-out for you.
I still can't think of how that would happen...people under hypnosis don't do things that they wouldn't do. They'd snap out of it at that point automatically...

Waiting madly inside of me rests the souls of two entities who have been with this world for many ages. I know their names not, but I have nearly fallen into madness several times due to their existing inside of me. I would gladly be hypnotized to search out these souls that existed in the past, however I worry what might happen...just how powerful they may be if once more released in the world today. I am one who is making his path towards mastering these things, however if I am taken by surprise, I may not be ready for the resulting affects.
